Close to 650 individuals have joined The Patriotic Front – PF. The numbers include old members who had left the party between 2014 and 2016 plus new PF members.

The over 650 members from the Rainbow Party-RP, Forum For Democracy and Development- FDD and United Democratic Front- UDF rejoined the party at Buchi Hall in Kitwe today.

The function was graced by district chairman for Kitwe, Christopher Kang’ombe who emphasised the need for unity and reconciliation in fostering victory in 2021. Other visiting chairmen included those from Ndola and Mufulira just to mention a few.

Speaking when receiving the defectors, Member of Central Committee Frank Bwalya urged PF members to welcome back the individuals and new members because thats the only way to win elections.

Former Chimwemwe Constituency MP Mwenya Musenge, MCC Stephen Kainga and PF provincial youth chair for Copperbelt Nathan Chanda all thanked the defectors for choosing to re-join the party.

Official speeches from kuomboka is live on ZNBC TV 1 now and only three people are being mentioned here;President Edgar Lungu,the Litunga and the First Lady Mrs Esther Lungu while HH IS NOT MENTIONED EVEN SHOWN ON TV.HOPE ALL UPND DREAMERS IN 3.5 PROVINCES ARE WATCHING THIS-WOW WOW!!!BOMA NI BOMA!!!while upnd cry about 2016 elections,PF is already preparing for 2021 as we can see its officials are doing in Kitwe!!!KEEP IT UP FR.BWALYA!!GO PF GO!!

    • The sad thing is having a NATIONAL PUBLIC BROADCASTER which receives operational grants from government being selectively biased with what is aired when extra funding of K 3:00 also comes from the public with monthly electricity purchases! How I wish Zambian law provided one to petition withdrawal from the K 3:00 contribution to ZNBC.

  5. If you don’t watch Kuomboka on ZNBC TV where else can you watch it? Is there a UPNDonkey TV station that I may not know of?

    @2 Njimbu, I am also watching TV (ZNBC TV of course) but haven’t seen a glimpse of “president” HH. Where is he, being pushed around by that crowd? I also see the real President seated next to the elegant looking Litunga. I also see security men around the Litunga and the President. I also heard the speech by the Ngambela where he acknowledged the presence of the Head of State which is ECL, but no mention of HH, just included in the visitors or crowd if you like?

  28. @26 China, “what’s on the ground, what’s on the ground”, we have heard that song before in 2015 and 2016. But the result is always a loss without exception. Look at the Copperbelt in 2016, UPNDonkey received a major boost with the retrenchment of miners. But alas! the support fizzled out in no time such that no one even responded to UPND slogans. Same as other parts of the country. Why you can’t accept that the majority of people don’t feel comfortable with your HH and the UPNDonkeys is what has beaten you seven.times and an eighth defeat is round the corner.

  41. I listened to Fr Bwalya on ZNBC. Apart from talking in vernacular on national television (without translation sub-titles) he was openly advocating for tribal politics and regionalism. He said Copperbelt is their region and therefore everyone there must vote for their own (PF leader) who hails from there.
    This kind of politics is what is keeping Africa backwards. People can even justify a thief if he comes from their area. It is their thief, so it is OK! I can’t blame our leaders that much because they are there for the survival. The real danger to our country are the people (voters) who put power in these wrong hands. Look now how they spend all the time trying to justify their being there at the expense of just doing what they are supposed to be there for.

  42. People should support political parties based on ideology and not otherwise. You have to ask yourself, what are they up to? What drives their decision making process? The numbers might look good, but this is certainly not good for the future of this beautiful country. Look at the caliber of our law makers, police officers, teachers etc . We ignore the early signs of disaster. Look at the youths, instead of building capacity to run this country, they busy being used as political pawns everyday. Take notice!
