Religious Affairs and National Guidance Minister Godfridah Sumaili has said her ministry will not allow Zambia to be defiled by what she deemed greedy predators coming in the country pretending to be clergymen.
Reverend Sumaili observed that even in Zambia currently there are a lot of false prophets and questionable churches with strange doctrines contrary to the Bible.
She said such it is her desire such clergy leading some perceived spurious churches should be brought back to Christ because they need mentors for discipleship through deliverance for restoration.
Reverend Sumaili the hardcore who may refuse transformation should not be allowed to minister to people in Zambia.
She has since indicated that her Ministry together with some stakeholders has already started dealing with some of the unscrupulous churches in Zambia.
And the Religious Minister revealed that so far two churches whose names are were not disclosed have been shut, adding that the Ministry is following the matter with keen interest to ensure justice prevails and the congregants’ interests are taken into account.
She further indicated that a number of bogus churches in Zambia are in the process of being closed and very soon action will be taken.
