The Zambia Under-20 has arrived in South Korea ahead of Saturday’s kickoff of the 2017 FIFA U20 World Cup.
The team flew into Seoul from Madrid via Dubai on Wednesday afternoon at the end of their two week training camp in Europe..
“The team arrived in Seoul at 17h45 local time. They will now proceed to the Island of Jeju where Group C will be based. Arrival in Jeju is 22h00 local time(17h00 Zambian time),” FAZ spokesperson Desmond Katongo said from Seoul.
Zambia will play their opening Group C match on May 21 against Portugal.
Iran and Costa Rica who arrived earlier in the week in South Korea are the other teams in Group C.
