Zlatko Krmpotic has kept faith in his 18-member team that he featured against City of Lusaka on Friday for next Wednesday’s 2017 CAF Confederation Cup Group C away clash against Al Hilal Obied.

Zesco beat City of Lusaka 1-0 away just 48 hours before heading to Sudan for their May 24 date against Obied.

Striker Jesse Were, who scored the game’s lone goal at Woodlands Stadium in Lusaka, headlines the travelling party after scoring his ninth goal in all competition for Zesco this season.

Defender Simon Silwimba will make his first trip in Group C following his recent return to action after a one month injury layoff.

Silwimba was on the bench in Zesco’s opening Group C match against Smouha of Egypt on May 13 that Krmpotic’s side won 1-0 in Ndola to go top of the pool.

Overall, Krmpotic has made no changes to the team that also beat Smouha for this trip.

Zesco depart for Sudan on May 21 from Ndola ahead of Wednesday nights clash in Obied.

The team returns home on May 26.

Zesco lead Group C on 3 points, tied with CRD Libolo of Angola who beat Al Hilal Obied 1-0 at home on May 14 in Calulo.

Libolo visit Smouha on Wednesday in Alexandria.
