ZANIS Ndola reports that Copperbelt Provincial Permanent Secretary Elias Kamanga revealed this during a Press Briefing at his office this afternoon.
Mr. Kamanga revealed that the Republican President is expected to arrive at Simon Mwansa Kapwepwe International Airport at 16:00 hours and proceed for a night stopover in Ndola.
According to the PS the President will on Sunday June 24, 2017 congregate with Christians at Twapia UCZ Church before proceeding to Dola Hill for the ground breaking ceremony of the New Copperbelt International Airport.
The President is later in the day expected to travel to Chingola for yet another groundbreaking ceremony of the construction of 400 township roads on the Copperbelt Province.
Mr. Kamanga revealed that the President will depart the Province for Lusaka soon after the groundbreaking ceremony in Chingola.

Without IMF bailout, these projects are non starters but yet Zambia is ranked 2nd copper producer in the world. True to other people’s words, “The country is ours but the monies from these copper mines isn’t ours – Chalo nichanu, ndalama is ours”.

Every day is a holiday in Zambia. The same happens at Zambian embassies. American workers do not observe some of the holidays; but Zambian workers at the Embassy observe Zambian holidays plus all the American holidays.
