Coach Beston Chambeshi insists Nkana are still in the race to win their 13th FAZ Super Division title this season.
Nkana have been inconsistent so far in the 21-games old campaign.
Kalampa are sixth on the table with 32 points from 21 matches played in which they have recorded seven losses, five draws and nine wins.
“We are still in the race,” Chambeshi said after Sunday’s 1-1 home draw against Nchanga Rangers.
“We have depth in the team. All we need is to polish up in the striking force,” he said.
Nkana surrendered a 1-0 lead to draw with Nchanga.
“We are playing well. We just need to start scoring more than one goal. You know it’s not easy to defend one goal.
Nkana last won the league in 2013 under the late coach Masautso Mwale.
Since then, the closest Nkana have come to winning the league was third place finish last season.
Aka Red! It is Mopani’s fault!
