Movement for Mult-party Democracy (MMD) National Secretary has advised members of the party in North Western Province to stop jumping from one party to another and concentrate on rebuilding their party.
Raphael Nakacinda Nakacinda says the MMD membership is helping to run both the UPND and PF in North Western Province as the leadership in both political parties just moved to the said political parties.
Speaking when he addressed party officials in Solwezi where the party’s National Executive committee is visiting the province for mobilization purposes, Mr Nakacinda said MMD members should stop moving aimlessly and concentrate on their political party because it is only by reorganizing their party that will bring full benefits of belonging to it.
He said people will continue to use them during elections and dump them after elections if they do not change the behaviour of jumping from one party to another owing to the fact that they do not belong to those clubs.
Mr Nakacinda said members of MMD should realise that they can not reap the rewards of UPND nor that of PF because their members worked for those rewards.
He said it high time that the MMD membership worked on their party and stopped helping others at the detriment of their own party.
He added that MMD members in North Western Province were now helping to run other parties including PF and UPND instead of rebuilding their party.
And MMD Vice President (Political) Mutolo Phiri said MMD had become a nursery for political parties.
He likened his party to a tobacco nursery where any farmer can get his seedlings provided he wants to cultivate tobacco, something he said should come to an end.
He said members where now sprinkled in all political parties where they are busy trying to build the various political parties when they should be rebuilding their party.
Mr Phiri urged the provincial leadership not to be a hindrance to the members who want to rejoin the party but welcome them back so as to forge ahead in quest of rebuilding the party.
The NEC leadership visiting the province includes National Youth Chairperson Dauzen Tembo, Chairperson for Energy Tobias Kafumukache, Jameson Kamenga among others.

After insulting Sata in parley, now Dora is enjoying as a “mini~star” or sorry, cabinet minister under PF despite bandit Kambwili’s failure to lease his “soul to the devil” if she~Siliti~joined PF bandits.
MMD was kicked out with their papa corruption RB in 2011, but most of them bandits have now regrouped under visionless Lungu’s PF.

Even in the USA politicians change parties as they wish. Examples abound. .Trump was once a Democrat, 7th Vice-president Calhoun was a Republican but changed to Democrat when opted for Senate. Latest was the West Virginia governor who won the seat on the Democrat ticket but last week he crossed over to the Republicans.
