PRESIDENTIAL Spokesperson Amos Chanda has said that President Lungu was ready to meet the two South African opposition leaders after he was informed of there planned picket at his hotel.

In an interview, Presidential Spokesperson Amos Chanda said it was this planned picket that the head of state extended an invitation to the EFF, DA and UPND so they could directly present their grievances.

“When President Lungu arrived in Pretoria last night August 18 2017, he was informed that supporters of the opposition EFF, DA and UPND of Zambia planned to picket at his hotel for some undefined grievances,” Mr Chanda said.

“The President then extended an invitation to the leaders of the South African opposition parties so that they could directly present their grievances.”

Mr Chanda said the two parties agreed to the meeting and the South African mission started making preparations for the meeting but later u-turned after consultation with Zambian opposition leader Hakainde Hichilema as stated by DA leader Mmusi Maimane on a posting on the DA website.

“South African authorities were also informed of the planned meetings. But later this afternoon we read on the Internet the two opposition leaders were no longer coming after a telephone consultation with a named opposition leader in Lusaka,” said Mr Chanda.

South African mission had this morning announced that the two out spoken leaders had agreed to meeting President Lungu but later on his web page DA leader wrote:

“…Having consulted with Mr Hichilema and the United Party for National Development (UNPD), I am well aware of the deteriorating state of democracy in Zambia, and I will constructively engage with all sides who are genuinely committed to reversing this trend….” as he indicated declining the offer.

    • Maimane but for sure is a knumbskull… meanwhile Grace Mugabe is beating up your young kids in SA and non of the opposition leaders there have come out to speak aganist that??? Maimane and Malema have never ever come out to speak out against the Mugabe regime that everyone knows is a real dictatorship and why is that? There is obviously some games being played to paint the PF govt in Zambia in a bad light- these games have failed because the international community know that Zambia is a true democratic nation regardless of whatever lies are being told by the likes of Maimane and Malema.

    • 2020munelo

Grace Mugabe is being sued and threatened with arrest…she will have to pay millions of stolen $s to get out of this….

    • Amos Chanda, EL had summoned the opposition leaders, he did not invite…… Maimane and Malema are not like our Zambian opposition leaders, ask Zuma and he will tell you how tough they are, they made him repay money he used on his house and pushed for a motion of no confidence… they have made SA hell for Zuma and looks that they are also having influence on Zambian politics..

    • Chanda, Kindly help No. 1 to ignore these rascals. As already said, its unnecessary Presidential gesture to meet eccentric characters with zero value to our country. President Lungu is being too nice in opening up to these lunatics. Extending a Presidential audience would be a terrible precedence for regional Governments as it risks emboldening and fueling a wave of in sub-Sahara Africa. H.E is better off meeting Zambian intellectuals on foreign and domestic soils who are patriotic and capable of driving unparalleled Think Tank ideas. What would be the value of conferring with empty heads pandering to inimical forces? SA has more poor blacks, chaos, and ANC is pushing for land reclamation policies. If these gongs had brains they could be champions of the common man instead, busy pandering…

    • That’s what happens when a president chooses to surround himself with party cadres as advisors. A president needs technocrats who are above partisan inclinations. Eg how can Kaiser Zulu be political advisor a man who has never seen the walls of a university lecture room. Do you expect such a fellow to match with Zuma’s political advisors or in other countries? He’s simply empty and never has state house sunk this low.The levels of Advisors at state house are the worst and lowest we have ever seen in Zambia. President Lungu deserves what is happening to him now because he has surrounded himself with mediocrity despite being a ‘ Lawyer ‘ for fear I suppose of appointing people with intellectual capacity who abound in Zambia who he fears may challenge him.

    • @2020 Malema has on various occasions asked Mugabe to resign and ZANU PF has howled at him and insulted him the same way your PF did

    • I WONDER WHY ZAMBIANS ARE WASTING TIME ON THESE SOUTH AFRICAN IMPERIALIST-PAID NONE-ENTITIES. IGNORE THESE IDIIOTS AND LET’S CARRY ON DEVELOPING OUR COUNTRY. THERE WAS A LOT OF IMPLEMENTATION OF MEANINGFULL PROJECTS SINCE HH WAS TAKEN INTO BOARDING SCHOOL. PLEASE, DO NOT FALL INTO THE TRAPS OF CHO-CHISE, WITH THESE CHAPS WHO MAY/WILL NEVER BE PRESIDENTS IN THEIR COUNTRIES BUT ENDUP BARKING.

    • lungu was snubbed and rightly so. It was completely stup!d of him to ‘summon’ the opposition leaders in SA. What the hell for!? Did he think they were going to cower before him like their Zambian counterparts? Now his equally stup!d spokesman is blaming HH!? Are these people normal? I am glad he has been taught a lesson and will come back with his long tail between his bums, chastised.

    • “He who laughs last, laughs best. You may laugh then, thinking you have won, but you may not prevail in the end.”

  1. Chanda your diplomatic skills are a sorry state….you deport someone then announce mr lungu “summons” malmane just to make mr lungu look big , now you have been rejected…if you were so interested in olive branches as you claim you should have issued some sort of apology then
    ” summoned” malmane.

Now you want to play cheap politics by blaming HH .

    • Cheap politics indeed, just to remind you;

Kaizer, Kampyongo, Mulusa & Chanda toast arrest of HH?

DISGRACED State House Aide Kaizer Zulu his counterpart Amos Chanda, Home Affairs Minister Stephen Kampyongo and Minister in-charge of National Development Planning Lucky Mulusa on Tuesday night celebrated the arrest of UPND President Hakainde Hichilema in style at a pub on 8 Reedbuck road in Kabulonga.

The four senior PF officials took turns boasting how they had made sure they had fixed the opposition leader and how they were controlling state institution.

The officials who were in the company of another mercenary, Lewis Mosho and some former Post Journalist and what looked like prostitutes, drunk the night out and only left 8 reedbuck after midnight.

      “Natuka chita ka…

  2. It appears HH is not interested in reconciliation, the govt turned the other cheek and released him but so far he remains a bitter, angry person. Indeed prison conditions are bad however he too is part of that problem because his party has been the main opposition for over 10 years and have never addressed this issue!
The man is truelly delusional- after he was incarcerated there was no large “uprising” as he intended! Again should he be put back there there land will remain silent and peaceful! Ever since this HH thing was released we seem to be having tension again, some of us were hoping should he be released some good would come out of it but what we are seeing is the opposite- just lies, and hate speech from HH!

    • “”I don’t know about you but for me, as soon as I read the ‘summoning’ statement, I saw fire on the mountain; I smelled sulphur; I knew that a volcano of sarcasm was about to rapture. To be honest, I was left wondering where this affinity for scoring ‘diplomatic own-goals’ is coming from. Why would we be so reckless as a country to yet again throw ourselves back in a strategic trap owing to our own diplomatic blunders at the behest of overzealous public officers?””

Writes George chela in the watch dog.

    • @2020vision! Lungu will never again incarcerate HH if he is normal coz he has seen what it has done to his reputation. What he did was a cowardly act from the 18th century. If he has balls let him try again. You expected HH to become a praise singer for your Lungu after coming out. Grow up gullible illiterate PF cadre supporting rubbish consistently.

    • @ 3.2 Kaputo Davies

Very true. Lungu’s own reputation is the one now incarcerated – it is in Mukobeko Maximum prison.

    • What tension has HH brought since his release bane. Listening to his interview on BBC, the man was all re-conciliatory. It is just Amos misrepresenting issues in this matter for political expedience.

  3. Mr lungu, you need to fire some one who issues your statements……you seem to think PF thuggery can be carried onto the diplomatic arena ?. Ati “summons”
If that was you Chanda issuing such statements you need retrenching…

Meanwhile hired PF thugs were sent scampering for cover after being nearly attacked by angry citizens of countries affected by dictatorships…..

    • Lungu’s stoopidity is tiring!! Did he really think that Maimane would sit down with him after Lungu had him beaten up and his cellphones stolen by PFoIice before deporting him at KKIA? There’s no cure for stoopidity!!!

  4. Amos, admit it that you got it all wrong. Your boss may dictate to Zambians’ but not South Africans. You should have invited them and not summoning those guys. If you can’t read a situation, that worries me a lot. The detention of HH was an own goal and you should have started the damage control by starting at home than dreaming as if your boss is a politician. He is not. He became president by accident. He aren’t a skilful politician or orator. He has never faced a difficult situation like Levi did. If he has role models in the Mugabes of this world, it leaves a sour taste. Do we really have technorates and a school for diplomats in this country? Even yourself you forget that you are a Civil Servant. Oh God, Serve Zambia.

    • I do not think you understand English very well. These guys had planned to picket at the President’s hotel, so the President says instead of standing outside in the cold, come in for a cup of hot tea and let’s chat. The fools become scared and chicken out. Do you understand the meaning of the word “picket” Bonzo?

  5. It is a well known fact that if you claim to be a democrat then you must have open mind especially on things you have very little knowlledge about. Unless ofcourse you have a predetermined agenda as appears in the case of Mmusi. Obasanjo went to zambia and had the open mind to meet both sides. What he sai there after is an open secrete which Mmusi would like to hear because his fananciers know it all and have told him not to listen. In that case he makes the work of H.E Edgar Chagwa Lungu easier, to concentrate on more important issues that have a bearing on national issues and not battles to fight for presidency because he (ECL) is already one not once but twice.

  6. More LIES from this little boy Chanda.

Better be quiet than come up with more rubbish to try and justify your ignorance and incompetence.

You f**ked up when you kicked him out of Zambia. Now be a man and not a rat and apologise.

  7. State House is full of lazy empty tins now….really laughable…though Malema has agreed to meet Lazy on live tv. I doubt it a cowering bum like Lazy can dare do that!!

  8. @spaka sometimes your ignorance is beyond comprehension, FYI the only senior SA politician to condemn Grace Mugabe was Dlamini Zuma the wife of President Zuma! If the other came out to condemn then is was after Dr Zuma statement. Its a known fact that Malema is a chola boy of Mugabe, they are both Shonas- Malema is a Venda from Limpopo right at the border with Zimbabwe. Maimane is just a lost clown from the cape running around in circles chasing after sweets that his white masters throw!
@Kaputo so says someone who continuously supports a group that is on record for calling for an “uprising”, a group that never apologised for the attacks its members commited after elections? Get your big head out of your small ar.se mwana!

    • You stop trying to paint other opposition leaders with the tribal thuggery exhibited by PF.
Almost the whole specrtrum of SA society and politicianns condemned grace Mugabe and the SA police are doing their job……..Mrs Mugabe will have to pay millions of dollars while millions of Zimbabweans are suffering and going without…….that girl will never have to work again.

    • Please don’t share your ignorance on a public platform, Malema is not Venda as being perpetuated by you, he is Pedi from Seshego in Limpopo.

    • Despicable Wakos want to project their tribal problems on other countries. PFoools only think in yerms of tribe all the time!

    • Despicable Wakos want to project their tribal problems on other countries. PFoools only think in yerms of tribe all the time!

  9. There are just cowards. Busy twisting stories but fails to tell EL in person. Hh thrives on disunity, why stop his stooges…. Why couldnt they man up and say what they have been saying, anyway as the former Nigerian president said HH is so provocative

  10. President Edgar Lungu must avoid this kind of politics.why meet Maimane and other opposution leaders of SA?for what?come on ECL,you have Zambia to lead until 2021.please turn a blind eye on evil HH.you already helped him to escape death from Mukobeko but as usual HH cannot appreciate that!!this is the reason why most of us wanted the law to take its course in HH’s treason case.keeping HH in jail longer could have taught him good manners.see 127 days behind bars were not enough for HH!!!
PLEASE BA ECL,STOP POLITICS OF TRYING TO APEASE HH AND HIS BUSINESS PARTNERS IN SA.THESE PEOPLE WILL NEVER SUPPORT YOUR PRESIDENCY BECAUSE THEY WANT IT TOO AND VERY MUCH!!!SO LEAVE THEM OUT OF YOUR EQUATION AS YOU RULE ZAMBIA!!

    • What treasonable case did HH commit! You think your vindictive Lungu would have let him walk if he had a case. I see you are an illiterate simple cadre talking about something that is beyond your not fully developed brain.

  11. Amos Chanda do not blame HH for this embarrasment you have caused. In other words you are saying that HH is so powerful that he can command the Maimames and the oppositions of South Africa to bend to his will? take time to watch those guys in parliament and you will see and hear for yourself how powerful they are. you seem to hold a big grudge against HH leave him alone. You should be fired as each time you open your mouth you lose ECL ten votes.

  12. @12.1, what treasonable case did underfive commit you ask? Unfortunately now we will never know because he has been released due to pleading by Patricia Scotland and General Obasanjo, that is why the majority of us believed that underfive should remain behind bars and undergo the full process of the law to either acquittal and go home, or guilty and hanged. Anyway be warned that you cannot be clever twice, should underfive commit another offence or you commit on his behalfvhe will be locked and we will throw away both the key and its spare. And I am sure Patricia would have felt let down just like she is already feeling now because she has learnt that UPNDonkeys have no honour and do not stick to agreements.

    • Who told you Patricia Scotland would cheer any agreement that involves cementing a dictatorship ?.

To you PF rats the dialogue as agreed by mrs Scotland does not mean no democratic rights of assembly ?.

  13. LOL- Lungu the bungler is at it again. Just when you think he has exhausted all blunders, he invents new ones. It’s now clearly becoming his trademark. His lack of foresight on the consequences of his actions is simply astounding.

  14. Amos and HE President Edgar Lungu, I just expect you to ignore Maimane and these other rogue agents.
We have more important things to do. If (HH) and his minions are ready to betray Baroness Patricia Scotland’s good will and dialogue initiative, so be it. They are the spawn of the devil.

  15. Whoever advised ECL to summon or to call for Malema and Maimane must be fired. Don’t fear picketing. Picketing happens all the time. You cannot meet everyone who pickets. Maimane and Malema are rogue elements that are not worth ECL time. Leave them to Zuma to deal with. Please Ambassador Mwamba and Chanda don’t confuse the Head of State in future like this again. Malema and Maimane are publicity seekers who should be ignored at all costs.

    • Ecl didn’t summon those 1diots. They planned to pickett him at the hotel wit banners and chanting slogans similar to the colonial days and HE ECL said it’s not necessary to do that just come over you present your grievance in a civilised manner and they chickened out giving silly excuses. Ecl was going to explain to them the meaning of article 31 and tell them that upnd agents are in custody for torching up infrastructure in Zambia. They are afraid to hear the truth. They’d rather be talking about SOE which doesn’t exist in Zambia than art 31.

  16. I am a staunch PF supporter now on a serious note, its you the so-called ‘Handlers’ of our President that are clowns !
You must accept that you are very amateur handlers. How dare you expose the President to such embarassment !
Mr President NEVER entrust the management of the Presidency to such amateurs like Kaizer Zulu and Emmanuel Mwamba !

  17. The level of discussion under ECL under Zambia is of a very low caliber.

People are starving in compounds, while ECL is preoccupied with getting recognition from domestic and foreign opposition.

Please, can we refocus on improving the lives of ordinary Zambians? Let’s take Zambia forward.

  18. I have never heard of any sitting president meeting any opposition leaders of a different country. Mr lungu who advised you this gesture. To me it looks like opposition is paying your advisors . So fire them now

    • They planned to picket outside his hotel and so he invited them for a discussion – don’t you get that? If there was no planned picketing, there would have been no invitation.

    • @abilima; Was there really any picketing or it is as usual Amos’ creation for gullible ones like you to lean on?

  19. THE PRESIDENT SHOULD LEARN THAT CERTAIN ELEMENTS SHOULD JUST BE IGNORED. HH, MALEMA AND ALL SUCH ROGOUS ELEMENTS MUSTBE IGNORED. HH WILL NEVER PUBLICLY RECOGNISE ECL AS PRESIDENT. EVEN OVER HIS DEAD BODY.

  20. What goes round comes around! Chanda, do you think Maimane has forgotten the humiliation you subjected him to at KKIA? You even had the audacity to summon him on his home soil. Don’t blame anyone for your failures and diplomatic blunders. Read what George Chella has written about you. Muli baiche sana in international diplomacy and politics!

  21. I think ECL showed real leadership and statesmanship. He opened his door to these opposition elements who wanted to picket his hotel; why make noise on the streets when you can present your grievances face to face??? The coward is hh who chooses to overrate himself and misguide the South African political amatuers. This ordeal may get attention in the international media but will it translate to more votes for hh or maimane?? hh was released on wednesday but there was no euphoria across the country?? Amos Chanda has played his part by informing the nation, nothing unusual about that. Maimane will never be president of South Africa and come 2019, ANC will still be in power. Come 2021 PF will still be in power as the voting patterns will still be the same. Kenya and Rwanda have demonstrated…

    • …this!!! The tragedy in Africa today is the incompetent, vile, strategiless and downright useless opposition that chooses to seek approval from their international master at the expense of its own population. They have chosen to embrace and misuse western ideals at the expense of our African culture of respect, order and standard procedure. Donkeys of the day: hakainde and maimane, real cowards!!

    • ” hh was released on wednesday but there was no euphoria across the country?? ”

Celebratory marchers were banned in western and southern provinces by lungu , what are you talking about ?

    • …and the refusal by ZP to allow PF Roan constituency to march against Kambwili??? The problem is you only want things to happen your way and only your way. hh is supreme leader of upnd and no one should question that. WHICH IS THE REAL DICTATORSHIP???

  22. You know you can say a lot of things about RB , but the man had class.
He surrounded himself with intelligent people….not these rif rafs from bus stops and chawama that are advising lungu…..

The PF rats are afraid of picketers , that is democracy you kaponyas, in functioning democracies people are allowed to express their views in a peacfull way.

  23. So HH s hands are involved in Maimane”s Presidential snub?Mr President take your time in calling for Dialogue with HH. You have been given an opportunity to again look into the Psyche of HH. Ignore this Zambian Buthelezi and his Transkei loyalists. They are just wasting your time.

  24. I have been observing for some time now, politics of one country crossing boarders or overflowing into another and mostly not for the good but to cause more havoc, especially in Sub-Sahel. Maimane interfering with Zed, Zim vs Zed politics, Rwa vs Uga/Ken. What the hell is going on. Ba Pres how can you entertain a leader of a mere opposition party on foreign land for that matter. Now my appeal to the political leaders can this trend come to an end immediately. Zed politics let them be Zed politics, Zim for Zim. We don’t want problems of international conflicts.

  25. What are those two chaps up to? Leave our president alone. This is NOT Apartheid regime. Iam sure these young men still have apartheid hang-over which they want to extent to Zambia.

  26. Lungu requested to meet them . They are not obliged to , and if they had it would be out of courtesy.

On a lighter note – They were scared he would PIMA THEM !!!!

  27. Big blunder again by Lungu and his henchmen. I recall this Amos Chanda writing an article blasting and berating Maimane and that was after the man was deported unceremoniously. Now without even an apology he tells his tinpot dictator to ‘summon’ another country’s main opposition leader. They are not walking their own preaching song, i.e. by them ‘summing’ the DA opposition leader they are actually interfering in the sovereignty country of SA’s politics (isn’t this what they were telling him when he attempted to meet HH).

The better approach was for Lungu to request to visit the opposition leaders at their offices (i.e. pay a courtesy call as they call it).

  28. HH..HH..HH..3 times I have your name. Do not take Zambia for granted. If you agreed to dialogue, why did you stop Mai- whatever name.HH is not sincere with his conduct.Anyway, the privatization story tells it all. That is HH for you..a man filled with biterness, hate.Maybe he misses that fatherly parenting, and not that Uncle-fatherly parenting!!!

  29. You are missing the point, which is that HH is not committed to reconciliation. If he meant well, why would he discourage constructive interaction between ECL and the South Africans?

  30. There has been a lot of untruthfulness on the part of HH. He has so much to hide but very little to lose. So he is trying his level best to cling to his new found false fame of having coined his Excellency the Republican President of Zambia (ECL) as a dictator when in fact ECL is one of the most democratic leaders on the continent. If Mmusi spoke to ECL he would have had an opportunity to judge for himself but as it is he has to react on what his unreasonable opposition leader is feeding him on. It may not be surprising if we hear later that the photograph friendship we see between HH and Mmusi goes right to the wallet. We all know that HH is a very wealthy man and the source of that wealth is common knowledge or in the public domain.

  31. It is my considered view that President Lungu should seriously fire some of his advisers as they are not worthy being at State House…There was no need for President Lungu to try and meet the two South African Opposition nonentities…President Lungu must appoint old, wise and mature advisers if he’s to avoid in future this embarrassing talk…

  32. The ”brown envelop’ shxt steam (system) as Peter Tosh put it, has failed…it only works in Zambia baba! na nsoni mulibe!

  33. Realising HH was a mistake. This Man will bring War and ethnic division in Zambia. He is the worst opposition leader ever. That’s Why he will never be President. Remember my Words. I said it before 2016 and I have said it now.

  34. The Daily Nation, Zambia’s highest selling newspaper, reports like this *MMUSI MAIMANE CHICKENS OUT…won’t meet Lungu to discuss issues*

Most people having a Sunday drink while waiting for Tottenham vs. Chelsea in the densely populated compounds of Zambia will read this version as opposed to the LT version. No wonder the useless opposition never get traction on the ground but depend on social media to garner votes. Bunch of loser donkeys!!

    • Do people in the compounds know maimane, do they have time for him ? Wrong audience.

To our brothers and sisters who have been helping with online petitions, we are holding fire to awaite the outcome of planned dialogue.

Should Zambians be still subjected to dictatorship curbs on their freedoms we will resume our online blitze.

Again thank you all in diaspora who took time to write to your local mp, and other efforts high lighting the budding dictatorship…Germany big up, big up Australia , big up EU, big up USA.

    • The on line petitions and lobbying played a part in many investors and the IMF having a pause…..this is what helped divert mr lungus path away from that taken by Mugabe we would like to think…….however we can not rest.

    • …hahahahaha….spaka the donkey!!! You got it right, people in the compounds don’t know maimane. They don’t need to, it is they who have the key to Zambia’s power because they are the multitudes of of voters. It is they that installed Mwanawasa, Banda, Sata and now Lungu. It is they that rejected hh five times!!! maimane is not a factor in Zambia!!! That online c.r.a.p. is for you diasporan donkeys who contribute nothing to the local economy except speak english like your masters while you clean their old behinds. Did you enjoy the game?? I did while sipping a fine single malt on the rocks…kwekwekwekwekwe….

    • Citizen but it is you telling us about daily nation telling the people lies in combonies about maimane!

Yes the game was ok, the single malt I had was more enjoyable though.
I had one eye on the next round of petitions, I am preaparing a new on line strategy of sanatisation for these people in the west that will form part of my thesis ……early days though.

    • @Spaka: The Daily Nation is the biggest selling newspaper today not because of telling lies but by being professional. They are on record of exposing fake stories published by the defunct and vile post newspaper. It chose to adhere to professional ethics as opposed to manipulation and breach of trust exhibited by the post. It sells side by side with the Mast which generates fake stories daily but fails to sell. The Mast lines up all the disgruntled people who hate ECL/PF and they insult him on a daily basis: sadly people have moved on and they would rather use their hard earned K10 every morning for something more productive.

    • Citizen
Everyone know that paper is just a PF mouthpeace like ZNBC and given the choice no one would buy the paper.

Us in diaspora have our uses….we pay taxes in the west, the same taxes are used as foreigne aid and loans in the 3rd world like Zambia. So if I don’t like my hard earned tax money propping up dictators , fortunetly I can do something about it by way of petitions…As a way to advance democracy in Africa.

Freedom and democracy is a blessing…..

  35. During the presidential bye elections in 2015 Mr Chomba raised a very critical issue on HH being a mason. Mr Chomba explained what masons do and that he can produce HH Mason number. As expected HH sued Mr Chomba. Mr Chomba’s statement caused people like me to change mind on voting for HH because Iam a christian and know what masons do. What surprised me and still begs an answer was HH’s withdrawing the court case against Mr Chomba and declaring that he has forgiven Mr Chomba. A mason even if he is my blood brother or sister is a dangerous man. This is one issue that UPND needs to address seriously because most of these funders of UPND people talk about are likely to be Masons and God can never allow a mason to rule us.

  36. Egg all over the face of Ukwa Jonathan Jameson. That’s what happens when you appoint a lousy table cut lumpen who poisoned Chiluba as your envoy, he will expose you to ridicule, and you deserve it!

  37. MALEMA and Maimane missed an opportunity to hear ELC’s side of the story hence they will continue to be in the dark with a half baked story.Suffice to say empty tins make a lot of noise.

  38. Mushota where are you? What’s your comments, dear? Please guide these people who have no PhDs. Let your PhD work again, dear. say something about this saga.

  39. His Excellency the republican president of Zambia, made the right decision to invite the two SA opposition party leaders who seem not to understand the politics in Zambia. Some like Mmusi seem to think that because HH is his friend therefore he is right. ECL has nothing to lose even to gain by meeting the two opposition leaders. It is just in his humility to extend and give his side of the story since the UPND have gone viral trying to paint ECL as a dictator. All well-meaning Zambians know that it is just cheap politicking by HH to detract his dull MPs and his party members from questioning him over the six time loss of presidential elections. HH is not presidential material, that what Zambian electorates have been saying for five times now.

  40. Maimane and the cartel! Hazaluza Hagain! Has Maimane read any latest news from Rwanda and Congo DR? He is only interested in Zambia! Hahahaha UPND are so dull that they think an average person can’t figure out why!

  41. Maimane can’t handle the lawyer in Edgar one on one! He prefers kicking cheap shorts from afar under ignorance! Like the ignorant!
