United Party for National Development (UPND) National Youth Spokesperson Gilbert Liswaniso has warned the Patriotic Front (PF) that if they will not to stop instigating political violence in the country the UPND Youths will hit back.

Mr. Liswaniso said a time is coming when UPND youths will not be stopped by Party President Hakainde Hichilema to bring political violence to an end.

Mr. Liswaniso stated further that the PF have embraced political violence as strategy to win elections which must be contained.

And Mr. Liswaniso said the opposition United Party for national Development (UPND) youths have been instructed to defend themselves because the police are not helpful.

Mr. Liswaniso stated that the UPND has been at the receiving end when it comes to political violence and the ruling PF has always been shedding crocodile tears, affirming that most of the violence across the country are provoked by the party in Government.

  1. Such statements were not there when HH was in prison. Is it concidence that these statements are back after his release?

    • The reason there is political violence in Zambia is because it serves the interests on Edgar Lungu. For crying out loud this man is Commander in Chief and if he really wanted to he would let the police deal with cadres professionally. Mwanawasa didn’t tolerate such but he was a more seasoned lawyer and better president

  2. WHAT DO YOU FROM EVER CHIBUKU DRINKING UPND CARDERS ….WHEN YOU BRUTALISED PEOPLE IN NAMWALA UNDER THE OPERATION WATERMELON WHO HIT BACK……….!!!!

  3. Zambia never experienced an forms of violence and threats when hh was in prison. What does this prove to us. Connect the dots and you’ll know who sponsors violence in the country.

  4. They have started again, so who is talking about violence iwe liswaniso ? The way PF beat you during elections times is how upnd are being beaten even during physical fights.its only in upnd regions where you beat them(non Tongans) because they are a few in number. Try any nonsense in these 7 provinces you will lick your sores so better behave . ECL and meaningful citizen are a peace loving.Dont try to engage in physical violence especially in Lusaka and Copperbelt , these are PF strongholds for that much you know..

  5. UPND have always been violent and I don’t understand when they talk of hitting back because they always start this it.

  6. We all Zambians regardless of the political affiliation some may belong politics must not divide us let’s love one another most especially PF and upnd
