Power win four club pre-season tournament with game to spare

Share

Power Dynamos overcame Napsa Stars 1-0 on Saturday afternoon to win the four-team pre-season tournament they are hosting at Arthur Davies Stadium with a game to spare.

Newly acquired striker Joseph Kanema scored a first minute goal as Power moved to six points after two rounds of matches played so far in Kitwe.

Power launched the competition with a 3-0 win over Forest Rangers on Friday just after Napsa and Kabwe Warriors had battled to a goalless draw in the opener.

Warriors are second on two points after Saturday’s goalless draw against Forest in the lunch time match.

The competition being played on round robin ends on Sunday with Napsa facing Forest at 13h00 before hosts Power tackles Warriors at 15h00.

  1. Ok job well done. Congratulations. However nothing to celebrate about as this is a low key tourney. All the team’s involved are average still trying to discover their past form. Please again improve scoring aspect. We’re tired of draws. All the best
