The Governance, Elections, Advocacy, Research Services has demanded that government releases the Social Cash Transfer Fund report.

Organisation Executive Director McDonald Chipenzi notes that it is now over three months since President Lungu fired Community Development Minister Emmerine Kabanshi and suspended Zampost Master General, MacPerson Chanda over Social Cash Fund irregularities without any report produced.

Mr. Chipenzi said Secretary to Cabinet was given a week to report the findings but to-date, the nation has not been updated on really what to transpired even on how some funds were found stashed intact in a Zanaco Account in Lusaka.

He has questioned why the inquiry into the fund abuse taken so this long and whether this is a sign of incompetence in institutions investigating this matter such as Police, the Drug Enforcement Commission and Anti Corruption Commission or whether it is pure political interference.

“Does the government think, with the passage of time people will forget about this scandal of the year? We need the report to be released because people’s names were damaged over this saga and it is just better president Lungu briefs the nation on the progress of these investigations”, He added.

He has questioned why this investigation remains unconcluded to date and what the challenges are the investigation is encountering.

Mr. Chipenzi has warned that if government continue with this kind of approach to fighting abuses, then Zambians should forget about realising its dream of “not leaving no one behind”.

  1. Chipenzi you know Government doesn’t release any reports. Where is the voting patterns report and any other report from the 1990s?
You had your chance when you were at FODEP but you concentrated on being a UPND cadre.
    Stop masterbating in public.

  2. Honestly can you warn govt? This boy is very simple minded. How many people have died at the hands of govts global ly with no compensation.

And he bubbling with so much confidence as if 10 united will win come 2021

Even privatisation you will mever see the report because govt messed up.
Thats why hh is pompous because he knows hes not alone. Govt would just end up shoot ing its self in the leg if they persue him.

Govt hired hh to do the dirty job and people died through privatization . PERIOD.

  4. @its political stop misleading people hh was never hired by any government, intead government hired the company where he was an employee, it is not the same thing lol! You are so deceptive, pf cadre.

  5. When it comes to investigating PF scandals all the pf officials keep quiet. The FIC report they gave to the president and he sat on it. I loved the PF under ba sata, the respect and love that ba sata had for Zambia is now gone. These business men are so greed these gods are so evil.

These people should stop swearing on the BIBLE…

  6. The whole statehouse was chewing and dishing out those funds to caders , lying ati lungu is supporting them with cash…..there was no money stashed in a ZANACO account. It’s all lies.

    • @Spaka. You’re right, there was never money found at ZANACO. Why did Community Development and Social Services Permanent Secretary Dr Liya Mutale say the Ministry will pay back the misappropriated Social Cash Transfer funds if the funds were never misplaced?
