  6. What next? Nobel Prize for peace? The Lungu government is the most monstrous regime to have ever governed the people living between the Congo and Zambezi watershed and the Zambezi river. Even Cecil Rhode’s BSA Co. would blush at how Lungu and his cronies have brutalised the people. One of his lieutenants has even come on LT to verbally abuse those who have contrary opinions. Give Lungu whatever award you want, it will not sanitise his smell. Wow, how gullible are religious people in Zambia?

  7. I am sure even Lungu himself was surprised by this dubious award.

The there are many awards that Lungu can win hands down.

Good governance, or selflessness are most certainly on that list.

  10. Zambia’s problem has never been peace. It is mediocrity. Zambians are too passive to a point that even the intellectual minds just coast through in life.

  12. This is not adding. Dont the moonies have their own place of worship, why was the award given at BIGOCA? Why not even use another person with a name from somewhere else to present it, looks like the WW style

  13. This is one great news I got today. I am so proud of President Edgar Lungu. He has really transformed Zambia over last five years. The difference is visible. Just compare Lusaka what it was five years ago and where it has come today.

  14. Zambia is 4th peaceful country in Africa. We have sent an example for the entire continent that peace is the only way forward to development and prosperity. The head of the state is leading by example.

  15. The award also underscores the importance of family values. This is the crux of Zambian culture. Being a Christian society, family is the most precious for all of us. It is the same value that makes entire Zambia one single family.

  16. Rock solid faith in God and unshaken belief in moral values have been pillars of success President Edgar Lungu has achieved. Zambia will continue to scale new heights under his leadership.

  18. I am amazed at how far these snake oil entities can dream up of awards for a proven dictator, oppressor, disguised thief, an indirect killer and a warlord. What do they think we are?
