Air Power Ladies Club commits to support ZAF Personnel

The Zambia Air Force, Air Power Ladies club Patron Nicolynn Nyoni has reaffirmed the clubs commitment to supporting and uplifting the welfare of Air Force personnel along with their families in all ZAF formations.

Mrs Nyoni stressed that the club not only supports the officers in the bases but also the surrounding communities.

Speaking when she led the delegation of club members for a courtesy call on North Western Province Permanent Secretary Col Grandson Katambi (Rtd),  Mrs Nyoni said the club undertakes routine visits to other clubs across all ZAF formations in the country to offer capacity and check on what projects they have embarked on.

She added that the visit to the Province is to also engage and collaborate with Kansanshi Foundation on various socio-economic activities.

Mrs Nyoni further said the club is earmarked to expand the Force quarter in the Province as well as offer technical support to the Air power ladies club.

And North Western Province Permanent Secretary Col Grandson Katambi has commended the club for looking into the plight of Air Force personnel and surrounding communities.

Col. Katambi has urged the club to undertake the rehabilitation of the mothers shelter at Solwezi General Hospital adding that the care givers are in dire need of a habitable shelter as they care for their sick relatives.
