10-man Dynamos hold Mighty

Mufulira Wanderers remained stuck in the relegation zone of the FAZ Super Division after failing to beat ten-man Lusaka Dynamos in Sunday’s delayed Week 26 match played at Shinde Stadium.

Wanderers, who fired coach Paulo Silva last week, gave away a second half lead to draw 1-1 with Dynamos at home.

Austin Banda put Mighty ahead in the 52nd minute with a close range shot to excite home supporters.

Dynamos led by new coach Elijah Chikwanda equalised on 75 minutes through Shadreck Mayembe who fired a shot past keeper Robert Mwanza.

The visitors were reduced to 10 men after Patience Ikambe was booked for the second time by referee Evans Malata.

Wanderers remain 15th on the 18-team table with 27 points from 26 matches played.

Dynamos are one place behind Wanderers with 26 points after playing 26 matches.
