Most honest worker?
I would worry if l was one of the other not so honest workers
Why is there no labour Day matches in Europe, USA, China, Japan etc despite it being a holiday??
Honest worker! He even beat any one at state house, including the Ministry of Justice.
What award did Mr Edgar Lungu get?
And what happens after spending money on suits and banners and getting fake promises of 200,000 job? Nothing!
And Lungu is very clever with the way he announced his imaginary jobs, he announces them to people who already have jobs. Try telling the jobless about your job lies and see how they will insult.
@Mwense ;alas Hamweense, you can go and ask those questions in Dundumwedzi Republic!!!
Even if president Edgar Lungu announces those 200 000 jobs among the jobless youths, nobody can insult him.almost all us youths know that high unemployment rate in African countries is a major problem Poor countries such as Zambia are facing.so as long as Govnt is coming up with sound policies to solve this problem,us youths will smile one day.ECL is not God to create jobs for all youths within few months.but bit by bit, many youths will be employed.
STOP BELIEVE THE “UTOPIA” WORLD WHICH THE OPPOSITION PARTIES PROMISE.EVEN IF WE HAD ANOTHER PERSON IN PLOT ONE THAN ECL,UNEMPLOYMENT COULD HAVE REMAINED THE SAME SINCE 11/08/2016.but the more we all work hard, the more jobs will be created!!
You have higher levels of unemployment after spending 10 billion US than before !
How does that make sense.
this was a crowd puller, I can see. Great
I wonder if HH was watching this from his prison cell
Very muted celebrations. I don’t see any jubilant crowds. Maybe they are thinking about how they will afford the new electricity tariffs or their next meal ?
@Spaka like lilo since when have you seen anything, you always don’t see anything.
Yes, where there is corruption , moral decay and mismangment you are right i dont see anything.
Is Labour day for the public sector only? Where are all the private companies? Those international brands filling the malls…Shoprite, PicknPay etc. Do they not participate in Labour Day celebrations?
But mubi uyu lungu. I was told he fainted behind closed doors during this event.
Tilangizeni chi pikicha chanu tiwone ngati inu ndinu okongola kansi!
I thought RB is older than ECL or its just the deceiving pictures!
2021 vote PNU
I thank you

OK
THIS IS MORE THAN EVIDENT THAT ZAMBIA ONLY CONSIDERS OFFICE WORKER AS REAL WORKERS. I TRIED SO HAD TO SEE OTHER PROFESSIONALS AND TRADES MEN AND WOMEN SUCH AS CLEANERS, PLUMBERS, BLOCK/BRICK LAYERS, ETC, BUT TO NO AVAIL. ONE CAN EVEN CONCLUDE THAT UP TO DATE SINCE INDEPENDENCE ZAMBIA STILL DON’T HAVE PUBLIC TOILETS IN TOWNS. IF TOWNS AND CITIES CAN’T EVEN BUILD PUBLIC COIN-OPERATED CONVENIENCIES- THE MOST OBVIOUS WAY FOR LOCAL GOVT REVENUE, WHERE DO EXPECT TO EARN REVENUE? AT LEAST LUSAKA SHOULD HAVE ELECTRONIC FEEPAYING CAR PARKS, ELECTRONIC-ENTRANCE PUBLIC CONVENIENCIES, ETC.
One sided attendance. Do the public workers have a choice after free suits. Zambians are so gullible. Easily cheated. Shame. Vibrant economies are private sector driven.
@ Peter and Jim no wonder an average person justifiably thinks Labour Day Celebrations are only for public service workers as they are clothed using public resources (tax payer resources) for the days event of marching to show who got better dress! I keep wondering what happens after the march past and admiration of new colors! Developed nations have no labour day marches most accord a holiday! I do not blame the private sector for not participating for the public sector standard of new clothes just to please the officiating guests mostly government officials would mean them digging into their profits for no returns!
why show photos of the same group? Shows that the labour day was a flop
@KK Airport Cabinet – events like this are like a wedding or funeral if you boycott not to go it does not mean that it won’t take place it always does. So you were expecting the Labour Day celebrations to be a flop but it didn’t and life goes on. Wake up stop dreaming, while you are busy day dreaming others it is business as unusual.
Mabvuto pa Mabvuto…
Good question, why labour is not celebrated in the developed country??? May I know if its common practice for politicians to wear a rosary on this occasion??? ba Mumbi Phiri….in future GRZ rethink, this event is costly..workers to wear their own clothes and not uniforms..
