The Parliamentary Committee on Education, Science and Technology says it wants to ensure that all Zambians access education regardless of their respective political affiliations.
Committee Chairperson Patricia Mwachingwala says despite her committee encompassing members coming from different political parties, it will ensure that everyone has access to learning institutions in the country.
ZANIS reports that the law maker said this today in Solwezi when her parliamentary committee called on provincial permanent secretary Ephraim Mateyo.
The parliamentary committee is North Western Province to check on how the learning institutions are performing and the challenges affecting the education sector in the province.
And Mr Mateyo urged parliamentarians to help guard the unity that has existed in country so that people can value the development taking place across the country.
But Provincial Education Officer Stephen Chishiko says the implementation of the “Two Career Path Curriculum” by the ministry of education is progressing well despite challenges of having trained teachers to handle the programme.
The ‘Two Career Path Curriculum’ is the education curriculum programme aimed at developing skills alongside the academic qualification among learners.
When was access to Education synonymous to Political affiliation in Zambia??
And I don’t understand the following paragraph, LT?
“Committee Chairperson Patricia Mwachingwala says despite her committee encompassing members coming from different political parties, it will ensure that everyone has access to learning institutions in the country.”
**Synonymous with… correction!
Our country is killed by mediocrity leadership and poor policy formulation and implementation. Lip service syndrome is all what these politicians do.
