Green Buffaloes coach Bilton Musonda says the Lusaka soldiers are longing to play continental football next season.
Buffaloes have not played in CAF club competitions for nine years.
Musonda believes Buffaloes have a team that is capable of winning the league and secure continental football.
“It’s been long since Buffaloes played continental games. If the league eludes us, we should be second and qualify for continental. We want to challenge for the league title,” he said.
Musonda is happy with Buffaloes performance so far in the 2017 FAZ Super Division season.
Buffaloes are third on the table with 40 points after 23 matches played.
“This year, I think so far we are doing well. We have won a lot of games as opposed to drawing,” he said.
“We are on the right track. This year we have players who are fighting hard,” Musonda added.
I think Green Buffalo is the most discipline team in Zambia. They only lack international players.
unfortunately there could be too much red tape for a Defense force sponsored team to hire international players my good Sir.

I think if you can remain commenting on football ONLY, everyone will be convinced you have a good heart! Alas!
