Chambeshi toasts sweet victory over Zesco United

Nkana coach Beston Chambeshi says Wednesday’s away victory over 2016 runners-up Zesco United was a very sweet one but they should not relax.

Nkana slayed Zesco 1-0 away in Ndola to end their hosts one week reign as 2017 FAZ Super League leaders.

The result also saw Zesco drop from 1st to 2nd and handed them their fourth league loss of the 2017 season.

The victory saw Nkana rise from 7th to 5th on 38 points, four points behind new leaders Lusaka Dynamos.

“We are moving slowly up but we need to take each game with a serious approach we hope and trust the boys will fight and play to our tune so that we stay in the good position on the log,” Chambeshi said.

“It is a sweet win. The good thing is beating the team that was on top which is good for the team and the supporters.”

  1. Zesco’s situation with their current mentor is like that of a hopeful patient on a theatre bed with a bogus doctor by his side. Everyone can tell how bad the result of how he will use his knife on the patient will be to the patient save for the patient. Mark my words.
