Zambia Eye “Busy” Ghana and Gabon

Zambia could face a West African opponent in a friendly next month in Europe.Or will they?

Ghana and Gabon are the two teams being considered according to Faz today.

The game set for August 12 at a venue to be announced in Europe and will be played prior to Zambia’s training camp in Holland that begins on august 17.

However, it seems Gabon nor Ghana will not be available on August 12.

Gabon have a confirmed away date against Benin in another friendly match.

Ghana on the other hand are looking set to face Morocco in Rabat on the Fifa match date.

According to north Africa news service website Magharebia, Morocco has opted to host Ghana rather than  DR Congo after negotiations for the friendly fell through with the inaugural CHAN winners.

  1. Yaba, twa celwa…Red Lipstick na Yaba mwafumina kwi? Anyways, I don’t know about Gabon but Ghana is a strong side.

  2. I am just waiting for the opening of the European league not this acake money plunderers who have spoiled tax payers money while we watch then even in full sight of all government agencies who investigate how money disappears through unplanned footballing!

  3. That’s the level our game of futbo haz reached, where we have to scrounge for friendliez! Iyeeee Chipolopolo……

  4. i guess we settle for Ghana. Go and meet the black stars and learn a trick or 2 from them.

  5. We cant even arrange a friendly match. In the meantime ninshi ba FAZ president says hes got lots of connections!!

  6. What of Nigeria, Tunisia, Cameroon, Togo or even Portugal, Holland, Brazil and England are they all busy. If Gabon and Ghana are occupied we should try other countries.

  7. Actually, Gentleman. we need to play a weak opposition , in-order to win , it gives the team confidence , and the strikers should score this helps them also with confidence. Imagine we lost 4-0 to Brazil , in the short run to a world cup Qualifier, there is no time rebuild or adjust.

  8. •4 , Gabon, blame them for what..? Is your Brain, rock hard. You should asking the Zambian government to release the out come of the plane crash. I have seen copies of it . It had nothing to do with Gabon. That’s like FTJ comes to sodomizes your mother and your family tells you, but instead you go drink beer and dance with him and blame it on the police, for not watching your house.

  9. ok,so #14 suggest which teams we play the ones you call “stronger” perhaps our FAZ needs direction in that regard!!!!!!!!!!

  10. #10. No quality team wants to play Zambia ! Not even South Africa. They want to play other teams higher then them which also brings a little revenue from TV rights for a freindly. Zambia won’t draw a big crowd they stink !
