How can God bless Zambia if you have such characters in government who twist the lies into truth or fabricate false stories. 40. I am amazed by the ignorance in Zambia on how land and mines are governed and managed. Why do we expose our ignorance so much on social media? Anyone in Zambia who has means can acquire a mining licence and sell it later. Nothing wrong with that. Any mining activity is subjected to approval by competent authority. So if mining licence is granted, who is to blame? That is why when EIA are published, people must read so that they can petition government. Once license is given in an sensitive environment, again govt must take the responsibility. The trouble in our country is that every matter is politicised. I am tired of this. Can the govt please handle the matter and if there are people like my friend Peter who feel strongly about it like I do, then we petition govt, even beyond borders…

Besides you have former minister Kalaba saying it was the PF (cabinet)govt decision to sell the lower Zambezi. So I really wonder what kind of law school this Makebi Zulu attended or is it the rotten UNZA? Nevers was prosecuted for lying, if PF and ECL are serious enough let them summon Makebi Zulu to tell the nation the truth which if not checked can bring about violence and untold misery across the country.

49. The question isn’t about who is or isn’t profiting from it, but the fact that the cabinet voted to allow a mine in a national park. Lets not be distracted by cheap political tricks.
