UPND-PF pact to elect president

Share

THE United Party for National Development (UPND) and the Patriotic Front (PF) will subject the position of presidential candidate of the pact to a vote ahead of the 2011 elections.

UPND president Hakainde Hichilema said members of the UPND and PF pact will vote in favour of a candidate of their choice to represent them in the presidential and general elections.

Mr Hichilema said in Lusaka yesterday when he featured on Radio Phoenix’s Let the people talk programme that speculations that the pact has chosen a presidential candidate are not true.

“Instead, pact members of the UPND and PF will vote to elect an individual who will represent the pact,” he said.

He said the existence of the UPND-PF pact is for the purpose of unity and providing good leadership.

Mr Hichilema said the pact is still consolidating its foundation and will ensure that it does not fall into a trap, as was the case in the 2006 elections.
“Right now, we are making our people understand why we merged with the PF,” he said.

He said all pact members will support whichever candidate the majority choose.

  1. Excerpt:But Mr Sata insisted on Monday that he will continue to contest presidential elections until he wins.

He said he considers President Abdoulaye Wade of Senegal to be the most successful president in Africa because he lost national elections nine times before he won.

Mr Sata said in his case, the only election he accepts to have lost is the one held in 2001 because the PF was still in its infancy and the electorate did not know the opposition party.

He said this when he featured on Muvi TV’s ‘Matter at Hand’ programme.

  2. cont. from #1
Sata, UPND differ over 2010 candidate
Mr Sata said he is not thinking of grooming anybody to take over from him.

He said this is because, when former President Frederick Chiluba tried to groom late President Levy Mwanawasa, the latter turned out to be different.
Mr Sata said anyone who wants to be a leader should rise to the occasion.

    Source: Zambia Dailymail,

Mr. Hichilema, please explain the statement by Mr. Sata. You are saying one thing and Mr. Sata is saying another thing. Unless when you say “pact members of the UPND and PF will vote to elect an individual who will represent the pact” you mean vote for Mr. Sata, your statement and that of Mr. Sata is contradicting.

  3. Now this makes sense. I hope this will realy come to be. And lets also hope that the loser ll be gracious enough to support the victor!

  4. why is HH (CASTER SEMENYA) and UPND always in support of then pact, when Sata and the other guys in PF are indicating that Sata will stand. Tongas no wonder u dont dilute your juice and end up being dehydrated.

  5. This is a non-starter because it is only HH that has defected to PF. The UPND has alot of big brains who can not be compromised to accept a Kaponya like Sata to rule them.Secondly, the Cobra is very volatile for any reasonable Zambian to trust him -of course he is doing a lot in opposition but not enough to be Zambia’s Voice of reason!!!

  6. Meanwhile Sata is gearing up for the 2011 election.

He says he will continue to stand until he wins or dies.

He says no one and nothing can stop him.

There is no intra-party democracy in the pact.

    There is no unity either!

  7. Zambia only needs a man who has no interest in stealing and can be firm enough to sort out stupid and corrupt civil servants. So let us choose btween HH and Sata

  8. #9 u said ‘no interest in stealing’ be careful what u mean!!! The truth is BOTH are thieves the fact that most of their thefts would open up a pandoras box does not absolve them from being theives.Zambia is being ruled by a powerful web of conmen who are in politics(opposition or ruling) not for Zambians but for themselves-to be more specific they are merely fighting to cover their asses.PERIOD!!!

  9. HH if you went for a vote with those PF chaps then your chances of loosing are many.
Just tell them to contest the 2011 vote and wait for your chance in the next vote under the same umbrella.
But be very careful with the viper because hes one hell of a con, don`t trust him too much.

  10. Sata’s reported utterrances in general , do not allow for the possibility that HH could end up as the preferred candidate for the pact. It’s just him , him all the time. And considering his age and the condition of his heart , i don’t think the job of president is what he shud be persuing at this stage in his life. He shud be taking it easy. If he won , i doubt if he’d even last the full term .

  11. Is getting in-shape important for my lifestyle??
Answer: Hey! ‘Round’ is a shape!
    And every Tumbuka says “Amen”

  12. Italy has warned that the current political language being used by politicians in the country is a recipe for tension.
Speaking g to Q fm in an interview, Italian Acting Ambassador to Zambia Guido Bilancini said the current political language has the potential to undermine peace and unity the country has enjoyed for years.
Ambassador Bilancini observes that two strong different languages cannot promote unity in the country.
He said politics of name calling and insults are a danger to democracy in any society, adding such should not be tolerated if the country is to continue enjoying peace and stability.
He added that there is need for politicians to start debating issues in a civilized manner for the benefit of national development.

  13. Number 6 ati Castor Semenya .Thanks mwana you’ve made my day.

Its looking bad for Ala Bee , he may be given a ka ‘Rafael’

  14. This is the beginning of the end for the Pact, haha. Now these guys are talking at corr purposes what a joke!!! what a joke!!! HH has messed himself up and its too late now for him to think he will get it. Sata has stitched him up proper. In any vote Sata will win as all the kaponya cadres belong to PF

  15. Natlex, what makes you think HH & Sata are not in it for selfish reasons?

And how can you pick between one who is eligible to stand and one who is not?

Its not a secret that Sata cant stand. He has no Grade 7 Certificate, no Grade 9 Certificate, no Grade 12 Certificate and no Accredited & Recognized Bachelors Degree!

Why do you continue to be blind to the facts on the table?

  16. And to top it off, these presidential qualifications were supported by UPND & PF MP’s attending the NCC. Sata has been betrayed by HH because UPND is not sincere with its commitment to the pact. Now HH wants to talk about electing a president for the pact meanwhile he just blocked his friend.

We Bemba’s will not vote for a two timing crook like HH!

  17. The Bemba speaking people will not support a pact where Tonga’s dribble our people’s choice. Sata is our choice because he is of our soil, blood and ancestry. This nonsense of HH heading the pact must stop because we will not vote for HH, that Tonga thief. He is trying to steal the presidency from Sata who is a Bemba and therefore, rightful ruler of Zambia.

If you’ve never seen a boycott, please pick HH to head the pact and we’ll show you!

  18. Please people lets try to be realistic at times, its well known fact that if the pact fields in Sata they have more chance of winning than HH. It is true that HH can make a good president but hes not yet as popular as Sata hence floating him as presidential candidate gives MMD more chances of winning 2011 polls please refer to the past poll results and see how far HH is from winning. At the moment HH cannot stand against MMD he needs more time. Again Pact need to be very carefull and come up with their President as soon as possible coz PF will loose some members when HH becomes Presdo of Pact and equally HH will loose some of his supporters when Sata becomes Pact Presido. So the Pact need Presido now so that they can have enough time to deal with apostesy.

  19. Sata would not have entered the pact if he was not going to lead it. As we stand, he is already a very close 2nd to RB. All he needs is to campaign in Luapula and Central, and together with Lusaka and the CopperBelt, PF will take the presidency from MMD.

PF does not need a pact to win. It has sold itself better than UPND has ever. Its popularity is increasing where UPND’s is reducing one election after another.

If the pact picks HH, then I will vote for MMD & RB.

After all the Ngoni’s are our tribal cousins and the Tonga’s are nothing to us.

  20. 17
#17 Luke Mbewe- Sata is a qualified business consultant -did his degree in UK physically not by correspondence. This is the reason the MMD have started to investigate Sata old crimes in order to disqualify him. If you know Sata well you will have seen how much wealth he has accrued through his consuktancy.

  21. But Analyst, how is Sata going to deal with disqualification?

He does not meet the minimum requirements for presidency.

Are you also ‘hoping’ that ECZ will accept his nomination by mistake?

In 1996, we ‘hoped’ ECZ would ignore the presidential qualifications and viola! They didn’t!

KK was barred because of ignorance!

Had we picked Wezi to take lead after his Dad was barred, UNIP would have bounced back.

    I see de-ja-vu here!

  22. #19 U suprise me.At this age and time for someone to vote on tribal lines is really sad and unfortunate.I am also a bemba but i can not vote and will never vote for Sata not because he is bemba but because i am alive to the effects of voting for such a person. The man has simply no capacity to run this nation and can not be trusted by any rational person. We should always put our nation first not our tribe for this nation to go forward. And by the way do u know that they are more Tongas than Bembas in Zambia.Pse consult the central stats office.and the truth will dawn on u.No wonder we have people claiming stolen elections because they count clans and tribes not voters. WAKE UP!!!!

  23. Iyi nikonodo yaba Tonga na Ba bemba, ina sinazangenapo yayi. We will watch from the sidelines as things begin to unwind, crack and dismantle. I wonder which tribe will take the second seat, awe 2011 chizalila, elo wina azalila. Go for it HH and Sata finish your resources on an internal election before you come to the general election.

  24. All the i diots against the election puzzle me. All along you have been saying these PACTORS are dictators because they dont want to elect a leader. But now this announced you come up with all sorts of innuendo.Ba kolwe tamwakwata ifisuma.

  25. Number 19..you right,me too if Satan becomes leader, then i vote to RB.enough of this stinking superior tribalistc attitude from bembas.if you think you are the righful rulers, lets see then, because HH will be the king maker, should he decide to run,he will split the vote and favour MMD.I wouldnt not mind having RB that people touting tribal slogans before we even vote

  26. Deja vu – Those old Bemba tricks of falsifying documents will not work. Sata last sat in a class room in Std 3. The records show it. Since then, he has been in government non-stop until 2001. So when did he attend this school that gave him a degree? What kind of school gives degrees without a grade 12 certificate? How did Sata get a grade 12 certificate without passing grade 7 first?

Those Bemba tactics will not work. Its time to get real and deal with issues in advance instead of hiding behind false documents. Sata needs to pick a successor or PF will die just like UNIP did in 1996.

HH is capitalising on PF’s failure to rise to the challenge and pick a successor. This is why the idea of the ‘pact’ is so important to HH.

As for MMD, Satas crimes is only but another plan (plan…

  27. # 24
Well E.C.Z presidential qualification was not part of arguement in my last submission #20 but my assumption is where the two named Pact leaders were eligible.Bare in mind also that all aspiring presidential candidates are familiar with the required qualifications including Sata but am standing on the nuetral ground and face reality that at the moment HH cannot stand with MMD hes still far. If the Pact wants to avoid Sata and win then they should go for someone who is as popular as Sata. Unfortunately the man is old and may lack certain qualities but hes second popular to MMD’s President. HH can be good president but cant win 2011 polls needs more time. take or leave it.

  28. The election is the only wise thing. Kunda will be proved a lier for saying HH has sold UPND to PF or Sata has sold PF to UPND. Who ever wins, we shall support. Its not about HH or SATA, its about the PACT and change! They are both capable to rule with our help, they will make it. either HH or SATA will hummer RB. He is not a political competitor. He is just the same like senior citizen. They have no agenda. Remember his press conference yesterday. How can such a man win 2011? The most celebrated election when zambians are itching to remove the failed and doomed regime of RB and his miniors who have achieved nothing but managed to escalate tribalisim and corruption. KUYABELE. Well done HH for this announcement!

  29. #29Luke Mbewe- Let me start with saying that am not Bemba by tribe. If you want to know about Mr. Sata just ask Ms Justice Lombe Chibesakunda. Unfortunately aunt Gwendoline is no more she could have shed more light on that. By the way in a normal consititution making proccess the NCC taylored document cannot be ready by 2011, which means that under normal circumstances, the elections would be held under the FTJ taylored document. But in Zambia everything is abnormal and since the aim is to stop one Michael its possible. Again all of you are saying you cant vote for Sata, yet you dont want him to stand. If you cant vote for him then he cant win so why not let him stand. What ambivalence you are exhibiting chaps!!!!!!

  30. #25 If you were a seasoned Bemba, you’d understand our plight. You have been diluted by culture which is foreign to you and the beliefs of your people. You need to come back home to where your roots began. PF was created in 2001 to put a Bemba into office, nothing more and nothing less. This is the driving force that makes us, the real Bemba’s, go and vote for Sata and PF every chance we get. This is the truth and you must face it or you will be lost amongst your people and their desires!

  31. If Sata loses the contest to be the Pact candidate, I do not foresee him not reneging on any promise not to stand, the man is addicted to power hunger. Anyway, one wonders though that if he fails to keep his fellow tribesmen from Luapula in line, how is he going to do so with voters from other parts of the country knowing how tribally polarised Zambia has become? If Banda drops Kunda and brings someone of substance to the MMD ticket, especially if its a Tonga, the Pact will pack, fast. Sata’s heart is also very doggy, I can see it failing him in the home straight. This might be a state funeral he is rooting for. If he dies, maybe he can donate Kaseba to Vernon Mwaanga or Monkombwe.

  32. This Pact will give way part of its majority carders to MMD. If HH wins, forget votes from Bembas like Luapula, Northern & bembas will vote for mmd. could it be Sata to win, Tongas & Lozis never want Sata & they will vote for MMD. Pact is going no where due to tribalism at village level. It will exist in urban areas as it has been always for Sata.

  33. #32 Deja vu – so the whole of you is depending on dead people to prove what? That a man with no credible education has an accredited degree? Lets be more serious than this. Aunty Lombe, Late Aunty Gwen, her sister Aunty Sylvia, their brother Uncle Saviour, etc… none of these people can prove Sata has an accredited 4 year degree nor can they prove he wrote grade 7 and grade 12 examinations.

Like i said, these old bemba tactics will not work. The Konie’s are UNIPists! Aunty Lombe like the rest of the Chibesakunda, Luo, Mungomba, Chisanga, etc… families are all MMD!

You need to come up with at least a graduate certificate and a couple of proffessors who can vouch for Sata.

Baseless claims will not work in this modern society of ours.

  34. MASEBO 6. that is tribal. Please no tribal comments shud be allowed in zambia. Actually its pipo like you who makes our peaceful country looks volatile.

  35. 36
#36 Luke Mbewe- I asked that if you wont vote for him why the degree nonsense? The computer and inter net you are using were created by a non degree holder and yet you dont shun it. Any way educatioon is good, but does not creat a good leader-. Look at my elder brother Kalumba, he behaves like a kaponya.By the way wait until you dicover too late that Sata’s qualifications are endorsed. KK was form 2 failure but soared above the 100 degree holders we had and won freedom for us. I fail to see where you are coming from. You think Sata cant win but at the same time you dont want him to stand.

  36. #31, you speak for yourself because you are detached from reality. It is obvious that even a call girl can convince you that you need change in your life and you dump your loyal wife of 20 years marriage for her. You must connect with your peope and find out what gets them to vote the way they do. Dont make assumptions which lead you asstray. Join our Bemba movement. Join PF!

If its not Sata, then there will be no change!

  37. #38, ALL UPND & PF MP’s attending the NCC unanimously voted for the degree clause. It was not me! Sata’s own MP’s and HH’s own MP’s have blocked Sata from standing until he gets his education right. This is the reality on the ground come nomination day. The subject is not up for debate. It is concluded and will be adopted in August this year when the NCC winds up.

It is so surprising that you choose not to see what is so clear to all.

Yes I wont vote for Sata but even if I wanted to, he will not appear on the ballot. This is the reality! Why? Because other PF members want to be president too! This is why they voted for the clause!

Do you get it now? Its a matter of getting you to stop living in denial because reality will end up dawning on you when its too late.

  38. #37, it was just a joke. Why so serious? Undiluted Mazoe gives a bad cough so we know Tonga’s dilute it daddy! Learn to take a joke or two from time to time ala!

  39. People or bloggers rather please don’t mention tribes.bemba, lozi, tonga,Nyanja etc are zambians regardless of who that person status in society is.please I beg you my dear country men. For me, I do not know any person in Zambia by tribe because it does not make any sense but creates strife and hatred at it’s highest. I beg you for second please don’t be tribalist nor call anybody by tribe. We need to build our country for the benefit of our future Zambians and make a difference.our old folks have failed badly after participating in independence struggle.peace

  40. If HH directed me to vote for Sata, he would be asking me to betray Mazoka in his death by so doing. Mazoka stood for a better Zambia through educated and mature leadership. He did not stand for hooliganism and this is why he refused to go into a pact with PF. I support HH, but i wont support an act of desperation which will take Zambia backwards.

  41. 40
Luke Mbewe – Cant reason with you so I wont lose any sleep on the matter unless am direct benefiary of rotten Zambian politics.

  42. #44, No my bother! You cant reason with something that is enroute to become law in a few weeks time. Get out of the idea that the degree clause is still being debated. It is not! It is now at implementation stage.

Its time to talk about what next after this clause.

  43. Dr. Mbao, in his paper presented to the VII World Consititutional Conference in Anthens, Greece, June 11-17, 2007 argued that, he has shown “that constitution-making is a painful process which cannot be left to one segment of society. The overwhelming desire is for a document which the people will identify as their own with and not one imposed by the ruling elites.” To read the full paper go here wowow DOT enelsyn.gr/papers/w1/Paper%20by%20Prof.%20Melvin%20L%20M%20Mbao.pdf

  44. Bwlaya Nketu – you are a nincompoomp, end of story. On the other hand, HH can talk about electing a PACT president all he wants, MCS knows in his heart of hearts that he will represent it no matter what happens. After all, this is his last chance (age) whereas HH still has a life ahead of him. If HH wants the PACT to stay alive, he needs to be smart enough to recognise this reality.

  45. HH ni simbi [is a metal]. I just like ““Instead, pact members of the UPND and PF will vote to elect an individual who will represent the pact,” he said… He said the existence of the UPND-PF pact is for the purpose of unity and providing good leadership…“Right now, we are making our people understand why we merged with the PF,” he said” which I proposed when the PACT was formed.

To PF and MMD cadres who are trying to undermine HH, too bad for you because president and 2011 presidential candidate HH through the UPND which has more party structures countrywide than PF will most likely send more of its UPND members to the PACT convention which former UPND members, now on loan, to PF like MP Given Lubinda may vote for HH in lieu of Mr Sata MC.

    B blest o…

  46. #39 Ba Bwalya Nkweto wesu, take it easy my brother. There are a lot of us Bembas who dont look thru tribal eyes. What we need is a president who is capable.

Mind you, if Sata stood on a Bemba ticket, he will fail. Look at Luapula voters, FTJ and KK. These are “Bemba” but they dont seem to think Sata is presidential material. HH and Tongas are perceived tribalists that’s why the rest of Zambia dont vote for them. Zambians in general detaste tribalism.

We need a president who treats every Zambia equally and fairly, and seeks to develop every region of Zambia equally. if teh PACT was formed to put a Bemba in State house, they are misguided. After all KK and FTJ were “Bemba” so what’s the point?

  47. Country men and women its not advisable to be too personal when we are debating issues such us these, no need to be emotional. So many people even in court have lost cases because they easily become emotional and fail to explain even straight forwad things. As a matter of fact if am Bemba and Sata become Presido no amount of many will rain in my pockets freely i will have to work hard to put food on the table so is HH. Even as we debate lets not loose focus, I would rather we look at our country and what it needs and then find a suitable Presidential candidate. In short lets discuss the merits and demerits of Sata and HH. Above all we zambians should be united and work hard no presido will single handedly perfom miracles in our country.

  48. HH you are in for a rude shock, this time around you will know Sata’s true colours. He can never let you stand and PF give you the vote. Prove me wrong time is coming.

  49. #48 Maestro

I think HH and Sata are not singing from the same hymnal. I doubt the PACT will hold elections to choose between them. HH is the underdog here. And he cant swing a tail on his own. Can bark but not bite.

  50. 35 Mangelepa what you suggest on “This Pact will give way part of its majority carders to MMD. If HH wins, forget votes from Bembas like Luapula, Northern & bembas will vote for mmd may not be far from the truth because most Bembas (by tribe and speech because of their tribalism) failed to vote for late UPND president Anderson Mazoka when he was clearly the best to form GRZ in 2001 elections which may be a repeat again.

To the dull bloggers, note that then UPND leader Mazoka got majority votes from Central, Northwestern, Western, Lusaka and Southern provinces ahead of late MMD’s LPM but Bembas on the CB, Lapula and Northern province including their cousins in Eastern Province reject the best – AK Mazoka.

I hope things change this time around.

    B blest.

  51. Just wondering who’ll be eligible to vote and the mode of voting. Also are they going to allow campaigns before the polls? How are they going to keep the shushushu out and at bay? This doesn’t look very nice, i was hoping one of the two would be gracious enough to let the other stand on very serious conditions. Even SENIOR CITIZEN’s same s.e.x civil partner Mr Capitalist has smelt blood and is already out of his hiding place.

  52. bwalya Nkweto- your man will never rule this country because zambians know him- however much he tries!!! Any sincere zambian without a personal agenda does not even regard Sata as presidential Material(with or without qualifications).Zambia maybe starved of leaders but Sata will always be rejected because zambians have nothing to say about him except action(reject him).No one steals elections from him.We all know why he admires pres. Wade of senegal -he wants to beat Wade’s record as the most rejected politician.!!!

  53. # 18 and 19…you are living in the old days. sorry you are a disgrace the society of today. am also a Bemba but am absolutely disappointed by your thinking as tribolists. you guys are sick to comment here!

  54. 35 UK-ZED Observer greetings. On your “Maestro I think HH and Sata are not singing from the same hymnal. I doubt the PACT will hold elections to choose between them. HH is the underdog here. And he cant swing a tail on his own. Can bark but not bite.” I have mentioed before here probably and/or elsewhere that PF cadres will be shocked at some poin that the foolish one in the PACT is Mr PF/MC Sata because UPND has calculator boy and others intelligent characters that have done theor home work in making sure that Mr PF/Sata MC is history in Zambian politics.

Just wait and see and lets discuss this PACT presidential candidate thing in 201 should we all be alive.

I just hope Bembas will show the rest of Zambians that they have changed now.

    B blest o.

    Matt…

  55. Maestro Hhehhehhehhe is a real joke. He think HH can win over Sata. lol That has never happened the 2 times they have stood (2006 and 2008).

  56. This Bemba Vs Tonga election debate is not helping. What Zambia needs is a government that respects the rule of law, controls cadres, stops corruption/nepotism, stabilises the Kwacha, creates employment, tars roads, clears drainages, etc, etc. The US has a black president but who cares if he can create employment so citizens can pay thier mortages! I don’t care who leads Zambia as long as they do a good job …

  57. we bemba’s have effectively killed PF and the PACT.Remember that HH has failed to cleanse himself from the tribal stained he put on UPND after Mazoka’s death. That is what we have clearly done to the PACT(u reap what u sow).BYE BYE PACT/PF.
Zambians have no room for primitive politics.

  58. good luck to whoever is going to win but what ever the case nga mwawina please do not open your mouths unnecessarily so that people loose hope n trust in you VIVA PACT:-?:d/

  59. Let us waite for these 2 by elections , if UPND get Mfumbwe then there is no need to be in a PACT, but if PF wins in Milanzi then that means that SATA stands a better chance because he commands Lusaka, copperbelt, northern and Luapula while HH has only Western,Northwestern, southern & Central

  60. We all hope that the pact will stand the test of time. And if the pact wins, the main aim should not be sorting out rival rather rekindling Our Economy. Give hope to all Zambians regardless of their political affiliation.

  61. The sentiments you see on this blog summaries the same sentiments on the ground. Very amazing

PF slogan: No Sata NO Change
UPND: slogan, No HH, vote RB.

Its because these two parties have been reduced to tribal groupings by utterances of its own leaders.Well known fact. The post has sunk to the lowest level of discussing & accepting tribal politics in their dislike of RB.
I think Zambians need not waste their time. Its change with continuity that makes sense now.

  62. Bwalya Nkweto’s comments are aimed at destroying the pact, becoz Presidence should not be about a tribe.in this case all tribes other than bemba should not Support Sata becoz he will be president for bembas.
Mr.Nkweto let us work as nation not the way you’re thinking.

  63. A house divided cannot stand. The PACT will crumble because HH and Sata dont work together. Unfortunately both have done little to quash tribal talk. Only insecure people hide behind tribes. Zambia is not a chiefdom.

  64. I wish people would lay down their arguments without attacking any Zambian ethnic group. The future of 73 ethnic groups and 12 million Zambians is a great deal more important than spending time on this blog trying to either magnify or retribute Bembas and Tongas. Let’s get progressive!

  65. No. 9, Has HH accumulated his wealth while working at Grant Thornton by virtue of his position? There is need for clarity on this one. If he has done so, can we entrust him with a bigger role of running the country without him using that position for personal gain? Some questions Zambians should ask can a businessman selflessly be engaged in politics and be entrusted to run government?

  66. The Sata/HH contest could be interesting… Anyhow by refering the Pack presidential candidate to a vote, it means the PACK has failed to ‘comprise’ on a presido candidate… The vote may even harm the pack as it could create two camps of winners and losers.

  67. HH and Sata are just playing cat and mouse games and hoping to ride on the other’s back all the way to state house. If I was HH I would be running as far away from Sata as possible becoz the cobra just wants to use the young man as his last hope for entering plot 1. Even PF supporters on this forum have a deep hatred for HH but support the pact becoz they see it as the last chance for PF to rule Zed. If (God forbid!!) Sata won the 2011 election, his first political prisoner would be HH bcoz obviously HH would start insulting sata after being abandoned in the cold the way Sakwiba sikota was abandoned when sata thot he was winning in 2006. Moreover UPND supporters are learned and elite and they cant sink to sata’s levels and hence cant support him. PACT is only alive in theory

  68. By the way if SATA has a degree ,then how did he manage because a recognised Unversity will ask you to produce a division 1 grade 12 certificate or form 5 or atleast a good standing professional qualification such as ACCA, CIMA,ZICA,CPA, or ICAI this is a rquirement under any UK based degree. Please check on the UK QCCA do not cheat yourself on this.

  69. I am so disappointed with the so called “Bemba” bloggers. I cant believe this is happening in this day and age. I am pretty sure there are very few Bembas in this country and I dont think they brag so much about themselves. Mr. Sata does come from any Bemba chiefdom, Bisa and Bemba are not one and the same, their traditions and customs are different. Please check your facts before you speak. The Mwine Lubemba recently reshuffled his 14 chiefs, am pretty sure Chief Chikwanda of Mpika district ( Mr. Sata’s chief) was not among them. If the Bembas were so clever as they claim, why is Northern Province so underdeveloped?

  70. We need to come to a situation where we say:

Who is the man with the best plan?
Who has the vision, the integrity and the enthusiasm to deliver?
Who can bring the success that the majority of people long for?
    Let’s give him a chance.

And let all others (including his critics) support him. This is what true democracy should be, not the tribal noise that’s going on.

  71. Sata’s gimmick is to tell HH “mwaiche let me stand now and you will stand in 2016”, well I hope HH wont fall for that cattle dung because that is exactly what happened in Kenya when Kibaki told Odinga “boyi let me stand now and I will leave the position for you in 5 years’ time”…and the end result of that false promise was over 1,000 people dead. Now I know there are pipo on this forum who wouldnt mind dying for the sake of Sata but please let not one selfish individual’s desire to be burried next to Levy at embassy pack derail the future of 12m zambians. HH wake up before the cobra swallows you, uses you and spits you. You are still young and can contest other future elections as long as you dont get soiled by sata’s dirt. Run HH run.

  72. It is an insult to associate Bembas with Sata. That is to say Bembas are stupid and dont think. It is also an insult to those Bembas who voted for Mazoka and LPM.

Lusaka and Copperbelt are melting pots of all tribes. It’s wrong to say Lusaka and CB are Bemba. Urban areas vote the way they do because of massive media coverage and economic activities. Rural areas have different demographics.

Urban dwellers vote based on economic conditions – jobs, etc, and Govt/Council performance records, much less on tribal lines. Urban areas have kaponyas, hooligans – check some cadres. These are a subculture. The fact they speak some kind of Bemba does not make them Bemba.

It is important to know voter demography.

  73. Ok now Im really getting confused about this PACT. If it is already disintergrating into a cyber war between Tongas and bembas here on LT, what chance does it stand in rea life, wont our brothers in the shanties end up killing each other over this PACT? I personally think it is the worst idea ever concocted since someone decided to let chabala kafupi rule zambia. If sata becomes the PACT candidate then UPND members will vote for RB and if HH is the PACT candidate then PF members will do what they know best…fight. Both are bad bad bad end results of this pact.

  74. #65, the POST do not hate RB, they hate Chiluba – you see the equation? In 2001 it was Chiluba – Mwanawasa, 2006 Chiluba – Sata. He was quiet in 2008 and now it is Chiluba – RB.

  77. Implicitly,HH has abdicated his presidency to Mr Sata except that he does not want to frustrate the Tonga people who wanted a Tonga President lest they shift their support to RB.So to keep cool,he is insisting on elections when he knows quite well that it will be Sata no matter what. And some Bembas want Sata at all cost.If by miracle the pact elects that HH goes for it the Bembas will all drift to RB.That is the dilemma that the pact has found itself in. And if they disengage RB wins.So its the situation of tails I win and heads you lose.Everything is in favor of RB. What do the rest of you say?

  78. It is clear that the main pact glue and goal for the Opposition Parties is to only win the 2011 Elections and form Government no matter the cost to the country. They have no common vision and are only in the Pact for the sake of expedience. Without a vision of the future, political action is aimless, or at best reactive and defensive. But a vision of the future is of little use if it is not accompanied by a clearly elaborated understanding of what it would take to make it a reality. This is the situation we find ourselves in. Zambians are crying out for change but we have an opposition whose sole purpose is just to get into State House without offering any credible alternative to the current status quo. Why is it that PF did not participate in the NCC even though they are the second larges

  79. Change is all we need should it matter wheather its HH or SATA, please brethen this time we should make it happen after all power belongs to the people. I just can’t imagine myself seeing MDD/MMD whatever it is bounce back. Thats how disperate some of us are for change, we are praying day and night[-o<

  80. #79 the Post decided (and successfully managed) to shift attention away from membe’s involvement in the Zambian airways saga by turning RB into enemy number one. None of us can even remember how hitted the Z/Airways issue was becoz membe has clevely turned our mindset away from that. Mmembe even managed to turn Sata into Zambia’s God-sent saviour overnight; you gotta hand it to this young man mmembe; he’s got Zambians eating greedily from the palm of his hands by decided what we can and cant talk about. Whether this is good or bad is anyone’s guess

  81. Ha ! “ba” Peace maker 82.We do not say “does Sata has “……mmh! It”s does Sata have….that’s correct English.

  82. Why is it that PF did not participate in the NCC even though they are the second largest party by numbers in the country? How can a party like UPND which has held a proper convention to elect leaders’ partner with a party that has NEVER held any convention nor even held any elections to determine leadership in the Party? Everything is decided by President Sata within PF and many PF senior members are frustrated but do not have the courage to speak out. Those that have spoken out have been hounded out of the party accompanied by violence.

There is need for Zambians to ask hard questions of these people who purport to speak on our behalf and want us to give them our vote and allow them to manage our public purse. Do any of these political parties actually publish their financial…

  83. # 74 Nine Chale – You have listed the above but no solution. Kindly direct us to who should led the pact and who has the qualities you mention. Listing and leaving us the voters without direction is like ………………… As for tribal politics, it works well in Zambia.

  84. could someone tell how pipo will vote, are they not suppose to follow party membership cards, to know that someone is fully paid up member of a particular party and I believe that UPND has cards and PF hasnt got

  85. Sad how some one can say HH will take Presidency of Pact. Imwe bantu can’t you see the chap has lost direction. He is not a leader. Indeed if the pact went for him, it will lose. This man has destroyed the UPND claerly. He would have won that time when he clung to the FDD and UNIP (TWO BIG PARTIES) he lamentably flopped. That was when he was supposed to win. Even in Southern province, the people there strongly feel he is wasting his time and money. Ise tikuudya tundalama twake twamane anabba. Cut my last finger if that chap will ever rule this beautiful country.

  86. #83 I totally agree with your analysis. The PACT’s dilemma is that Zambia can only have one president at a time and both PF and UPND know that if one of them wins the candidature, the other will shift their support to MMD becoz truthfully they are strange bedfellows whose manifestos are light years apart. The PACT’s biggest weakness is that they have no roadmap for Zambia beyond getting into statehouse. Another weakness is that they have left it too long to choose a candidate and this will advantage RB becoz the disgruntled party’s knee jerk reaction will be to jump ship and either sink or vote for a lesser evil.

  87. #89 Mulena – HH has the those qualities as compared to Sata. Sata has many followers as compared to HH. Therefore, to use those qualities in 2011 election, it will not work. This is simple. Ba Sata can led the pact because good qualities and character does not help without followers. You must have followers period. Election are decided on how many followers do you have?

  88. I have inside information. The MMD knows the PACT very very strong. They have Plan A. & Plan B.

Plan A is if Mr. Sata is the one to stand, they are busy trying to steal the UPND vote in Southern Province to their side. Thats why they are busy using discredited John Malambo alias Chief Mwanachingwala & Munkombwe who they thing abeit wrongly that will help them get the South vote.

Plan B. If HH is the one to contest, 1st MMD thing he is a weaker candidate, then they think they can capitalise on the Northen & Luapula votes where HH did badly. They think they can woo the voters in the two provinces to their side by using rebel PF MP’s.

Both scenario must not be allowed to go through. Both scenarios must be crushed. MMD is jittery and must and should surely GO out of POWER come 2011.

  89. Ok here is wat confuses me the most; you have to political parties in a PACT and what do the members do? They put all their effort in decampaigning the president of the other party in the PACT. Just look at #92, #80 etc and you will see that each party is hoping that their president will carry the day by belittling the other president. Strange

  90. HH run away the cobra is coming good lucky MMD the whole southern , western, central, eastern, north western will surely go to RB if HH was NOT picked and IF SATA was not all bembas will vote for RB .SO THE PACT IS DEAD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  91. # 92 Simiwe Ngone – I agree with you 100%. HH has sold the party to PF. MMD has said this many times.

  92. Whatever the out come of the election, either Sata or HH, do NOT disintegrate PACT. Shall we put MMD to rest now.

  93. Ba #94, sure you expect us to vote for a lunatic simply because he (allegedly) has many followers?? I think that is questionable reasoning ba sugar daddy, if you are campaiging for sata here please try more intelligent reasoning that that. Sata seems to be famous simply bcoz of 2 reasons (1) the Post have unsuccesfully shoved him down our throats, (2) his supporters are the most rowdy/loud/noisy while those who support HH, RB etc are more civilised and reserved. But the ballot paper doesnt consider how rowdy you are becoz you still get to vote only once no matter how noisy you are.

  94. #94 Sugar Dad what you have said is very true and relevant. I support your comments. HH followers should understand what HH has said that, we should all rally behind the candidate the PACT shall choose. Period.
That will be the sellable candidate. Sata or HH must rally behind the candidate we shall chose. I for one does not care cause I’m PF and I admired HH’s vision. So both are in my camp and I have commended them in person both of them & for coming together as a PACT.

  95. Tongas are completed clan in Zambia and they dont want to listen the advice others give them.History speaks itself Nkumbula lost election because he was a bemba and prefered kaunda from chinsali. All the pipo in Luapula, Copperbelt, Northern and part of Central voted for kaunda.Since kaunda ‘s wife was from Eastern province kaunda took control of earstern province.Nkumbula used to get votes from Southern and some few places from western province. The same thing will hapen all what bembas want is e bemba to be in state house so that they can continue looting the economy of zambia. This is the war we are experiencing in Zambia.

  96. # 79, the post actually started to hate RB when he decided to replace Levy even before Chiluba’s heart got better. The main reason being that RB is incorruptible & was not part of a deal to extend Zambia Airways debt. Over the years, the post has systematically played blackmail, some presidents yielded (LPM). When RB decided that he & not Magande(another that yielded) should replace LPM, he soon soon became a pain in their @nus. Although many say there is something homo about the post’s behavior, I personally think their hatred of RB is based on business gone bad.

  97. Tongas wake up it is not change pipo want it is a tribe. There are excuses that HH can not win Sata can make it dont listen to such stories. If any thing other tribes should fight bembalism which is minifesting itself in zambia. If a bemba person like sata becomes a president other tribes will run away from zambia becuase all jobs in parastatal companies and government will be given to bembas. The is the tribe which shud not be given a chance to rule this country. It is even better to vote for RB in 2010.

  98. Ok so its clear that some Bembas want Sata to rule becoz they want a Bemba president and because they think Bembas are entitled to rule Zamba….funny!

Tongas did not support Mazoka because he is Tonga but because he was quality. Have you forgotten that Baldwin tried to form NP but it did not tick in Southern coz he was not quality. Similary, HH got the support coz his CV so far is impressive.

If HH thinks Tongas will follow him if he goes to bed with base metal then he is deluded. If you have stayed in Tongaland…you know what am talking about. Tongas would rather vote for RB coz he has better credentials than Sata if it came to that.

If PF want votes from the South, let them look for a candidate with substance not Sata. Bembas accusing Tongas as tribalists is not helping…

  99. Dear bloggers. It’s interesting to see bolggers debating between HH and Sata as presidential candidate for the PF-UNDP in the next general elections. What is being uttered by Sata and HH in the press is extemely opposite. Sata has clearly said that he is going to contest the next elections and no one will stop him. Recall Sata’s utterences after the NCC annouced that a degree will a requirements for a presidential candidate. He said no one will stand in his way for his quest to lead Zambia. According to Sata, he is the one to lead the pact. Meanwhile, HH is saying that the pact will choose the pact president and whoever wins will represent the pact. HH knows it’s him because Sata has no degree and is ineligible. But when this manifests, the pact will disintergrate and MMD will scoop it.

  100. #101 Mpangula Mputyu – I would want you to understand Zambian politics not anywhere. Sata has gained more people to PF while HH has lost more people from UPND. Sata has gained through the post and other media while HH has lost it. Both are leaders in opposition. Zambian people wants bread and butter on the table period. Tell them that you are removing money from RB’s pocket into their pockets. That is a simple message Sata is using to gain popularity not growing of economy which people do not comprehend the terminology.

Last but not the least, am an MMD not pact.

  101. #106 Daniel….your analysis is very correct. Much as people want this pact, it wont wake. I for one would rather have RB for another 5 years than have Sata even for a month as President.

All sensible people know that you are better off stagnanting in development than going into chaos that Sata would most likely cause. For me its HH, RB, any other….Sata not only my list….neushapena!

  102. #103. I am aware of that angle, though I would shy away from the homo speculation :-o. I must say, though, that on relative terms, they would easily go for RB than Chiluba if conditions allowed. Have you seen how vitriolic they become at the mention of Chiluba – I have yet to see such naked hatred in a human being :-). Thus, to blindside their support for Sata, the MMD is putting forth Chiluba and for a moment I never saw Sata’s name in their commentaries and lead articles after Chiluba’s press conference. This is the angle that MMD will need to exploit.

  103. #88
The reason for the bycott is very obivious. I don’t know what your background is but the ordinary Zambian is not being represented at NCC.
    • For instance the free willy of the old folks in the village going ku mabala/kumuunda is something that is soon to become something to apply for because of the land greediness of the persons involved in NCC.
    • The plight of marginalized persons and what to do with them in an event of disasters such as the floods recently and or other natural and man made catastrophes has not been addressed.
    • There are no updates on what the ordinary citizen is constitutionally entitled to by virtue of being born Zambians.
    • The powers of the president are still too much which was necessary during the immediate post independence period but…

  104. Those posting tribal comments are just shushu doing their job and trying to frustrate the tribes involved. It will not work and we refuse the scheme in Jesus Name. Amen

  105. 110 Continued
    • The powers of the president are still too much which was necessary during the immediate post independence period but absolutely requiring adjustment in this age.
    • From kaponya to Doctor all are being subject to the wants of the few political elitists who have no intentions whatsoever to improve the lives of the Zambians at large but themselves and those close to them.
    • In a nutshell the NCC doc, with its so called progress and moving forward has no semblance to what an ordinary existing by the grace of God Zambian desires for his /her present day Zambia.
    • It would have made sense to pick Kamalashas, Marketeers, Teachers, Soldiers, Cleaners to go and make not only submissions but the whole process along side the politicians to ensure that their concerns were…

  106. #109, It’s now that am seeing that angle “to blindside their support for Sata, the MMD is putting forth Chiluba” . Well, a rather clever move in a party that is clearly superior in planning compared with the alternative. when you say you have never seen such naked hatred- sure, that’s why there is all sorts of “fishing” in order to try to exact the cause such massive hate. Because of hate, PF/UPND pact is are not analyzed on what it has in store for Zambia even on day 1 when they grab power( God forbid). Highest level of irresponsibility by this paper!

  107. First i wish HH good luck. As for UPND lets forget our party is over and HH has sold us. Sata is a master manipulator remember with FTJ how they manipulated the entire MMD. GOOD LUCK HICHILEMA. DONT COME BACK CRYING.

Secondly i wish to thant LT for allowing us to comment on thier stories freely. The other day i tried to comment on the post newspaper web. You can only be allowed to comment if you support Sata and the PF,imagine how low this paper has sunk. It has turned itself into a PF propaganda machinary.

  108. In 2011 HH will stand for the pact and win elections, he will then appoint Mr Sata as vice president of the country and then Mr Sata will lead the country as president of Zambia in most decision making and policies as VEEP and HH will implement them as sitting president of the pact period, watch this.

  109. It is better for the Bemba Luapula and Northern provinces votes even even CB ones to go to the MMD and/or other small parties than for the Southern, Western, Northwestern and Central province votes to go to the MMD since such is a big costituency to lose. Therefore, let HH stand so that the PACT concentrates on CB, Southern, Lusaka, Central, Northwestern, Western provinces while Mr PF/Sata MC tries to convince Luapulans and Northen province people to vote for HH, and while Prof Clive Chirwa of Eastern Province tries to convince Easterners to vote for HH.

Have a blessed day all and wait for the organised UPND to win the 2011 PACT presidential candidacy or HH or any of its members.
    _
Matt 6:33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God and His righteousness and all these things shall be added

  110. They will strike a deal. Sata is more popular than HH. Sata will be Presidential candidate on condition that if he wins, HH will be VP. Sata will then change the constitution to allow him to take over as President in case…

  111. #116 Mwiponta Mukabwela – I wish you could put HH for president so that the MMD could win the election. If the UPND – PF pact file HH for president, then no panic for us great people like MMD bootlicker and capitalist. VIVA MMD. VIVA Bootlicker.

  112. hellow guys….. I thought by going away from LT I would find maturity and ubuntu in the childish bloggers of LT, Alass, they have continued in their shallow thoughts and analysis. Surely they will not grow even when they are 50 years old.

There is no problem in subjecting the Pact-presidency to a vote. This is the only way out. Now why is tribalism coming in? Please people grow up….. you are a shame to mother Zambia.

  113. #117 Maestro Hhehhehhehhe
“Prof Clive Chirwa of Eastern Province tries to convince Easterners to vote for HH”
You are very mistaken prof Chirwa is not known in Eastern Province. He is a Mufulira and Lusaka man. zambian people, when will you learn that people are not from a particular tribe or province for that matter simply on the basis of their surnames? What tribe would a guy with a name like Mwansa Phiri be? Or Muleta Hatwambo? What about Henry Makulu Banda? What of those whose parents were immigrants from Zimbabwe, Malawi, Tanzania, Congo, Angola and Mozambique? And there are plenty of them. Categorising people on the basis of names is wrong.

  114. Following 119 Litunga‘s reasoning “#116 Mwiponta Mukabwela – I wish you could put HH for president so that the MMD could win the election. If the UPND – PF pact file HH for president, then no panic for us great people like MMD bootlicker and capitalist” I hope to read MMD cadres’ position as that of supporting the 2011 PACT presidential candidature of HH so that they can easily win.

Now, the fact that MMD cadres are interested in undermining HH simply means that he is the candidate that they fear most due to the intelligency they have gathered so far from far and near across the country.

Thus, MMD is trying to confuse Zambians so that the PACT can break because they know that Mr MC Sata will probably not qualify to contest the 2011 elections.

    B blesst o…

  115. THE SAINT, follwoing your and “You are very mistaken prof Chirwa is not known in Eastern Province. He is a Mufulira and Lusaka man. zambian people, when will you learn that people are not from a particular tribe or province for that matter simply on the basis of their surnames? ” does the fact that I live in Lusaka entail that I can not gain support in my native Choma District? Are you sue Prof C Chirwa is from Mufulira? I thought he lives in London?

    B blesst o.

    Matt 6:33

  116. well lets just say that, when a Bemba man and a tonga man come into agreement, we already know who is gonna get the short end of the stick, cant believe Hakainde is so stupid as to give his party to Sata….. and Willie Nsanda….

  117. #123 Maestro Hhehhehhehhe
Prof Chirwa was brought up in Mufulira, educated there but went to University for undergraduate studies in Eastern Europe. Under UNIP he joined Mechanical Services Board (The one B General Miyanda was boss of). He has done very well academically and especially in his special interest of ‘crash-worthiness.’ All this however, does not mean that he will be a good politician, otherwise Nobel laureates around the world would be leaders in the developed world.
On the Pact president, anyone who thinks Sata will play second fiddle to HH, does not know the man.

  118. Good Evening

I suggest that all Bembas & Tongas take a break from this futile debate here and join me in having a good laugh on youtube. Just slot in:

Tonga Athem, The best african video mix from Zambia

and have a good laugh in the name of One Zambia, One Nation.**==

  119. The one big motivater that will guarantee that Sata stands even if the if they put it to a vote and he lost is the fact that FTJ has actually come out in the open to say Sata should never rule this country..

So its a done deal no more UPND just PF besides the PF cadres have more control and can be more aggressive than the Tonga Bulls lol kekekekekekekekek lolololol

  120. HH, keep on working at this pace. There is no reason to rush into announcing who will be President of the pact. Lets continue consolidating the pact first

  121. Bembas gave Zambia one FTJ (form 2) and they are hell bent to give the country one MC(standad whatever)! Lambas gave us LPM – best pres so far, Easteners have give us RB (at least graduate). Tongas floated Mazoka (best CV for a prez candidate in Zambian history so far) and HH (a young graduate with bussiness acumen). The Lozis floated Dr Lewanika really well educated.

Bembas look at yourselves, do you mean to say these are the best people the whole Ulubemba can float to the country? ….embarassing!

  122. Is Zambia only fit to be ruled by Bembas? This is real foolishness. If Sata was popular why did he not stand in 1989 to challenge the constutional close that allowed Kaunda to be Wa Muyayaya, instead that was done by a Lozi in Bloemfontein RSA(Akashambatwa Mbekusita Lewanika) when every one was scared of Kaunda and hiding including Kafupi? Thank you to the Pablo Escoba family (Sikota Winas) who challenged the Kaunda’s leadership with Cocaine funds to move MMD forwad. Chiluba was invited to join the movement and given VX land crusers by the Winas. These are true heros of democracy in Zed. Not monkeys from nowhere, advocating for tribal presidency. VIVA RB.

  123. Who authored tribalism in Zed? It was kaunda and it started as follows;
In 1970, Mr. Mukelabai, Mr. Matomola and Mr. Makando master minded a military coup to overthrow Kaunda. Kaunda started a slogan of 1 Zambia 1 nation, 1 nation 1 leader. Lozis were hated and labeled tribal. The next tribe who could not take Kaunda’s tribal tactics were Kaondes. Mushara started to fight for his pipo bcos of resources (lumwana) Kaunda and his bembas started to call Kaondes Basa Mazai (scavengers and dirty pipo) to the extent Kaondes started to speak Bemba in disguise. Tongas then were good pipo bcos they worshiped Bembas, Not Lozi and Kaondes, they are not beggers. Today Tongas are tribal bcos 1 of theirs is standing for presidency. To cover up lozis and Kaondes wer PMs. Stop caling others tribal u a…

  124. I ONLY HAVE ONE THING TO SAY……IT’S REALLY SAD TO SEE ZAMBIANS MAKE JUDGEMENT ALONG TRIBAL LINES,GET OVER IT.WE ARE ALL ZAMBIA.LET’S WORK TO BUILD OUR COUNTRY.WE HAVE ALOT OF WORK TO DO.

  125. #115, on your second point it’s good that other people are coming to understand what the Post does to opposing views. I discovered sometime back (to be precise the period following Levy’s death) that they will not even publish your letter if it opposes their views or Sata. But unfortunately it has scored some success in convincing its gullible readership that it stands for the truth. In reality it is no longer the same original Post, but one that now seeks to choose leaders for us and in the process using all means, I mean ALL MEANS no matter how immoral, to achieve their ends.

  126. If I may summarise the debate so far.
    1. The Pact still has a mountain of problems to resolve before they can present themselves as an alternative government, 2011 is not enough time.
    2. The manner of campaigning that the opposition (Sata and company) has introduced including hatred, tribalism, insults and all manner of unprintables has caused a lot of damage to Zed.
    3. And we are all guilty of what has happened and will happen to our country because we have allowed ourselves to be misled by selfish politicians.
    4. If we do not correct this now, our children will bear the brunt of our actions while we shall be rotting six feet underground.

Do we wish this sort of legacy for our children and their children? I wait to summarise part two of this debate.

  127. THE SAINT, are you ok? I asked you simple qustion and then you start giving me a CV of Dr Clive Chirwa which I already know.

What is your problem? The contetnion here is the Dr Chirwa has an Easterner name just like I have a Southerner name and in relation to this, can Chirwa convince Easterns to give hime votes even when he stays in London just like I can convince Southerners to vote for me even if I stay in Lusaka?

    Have a nice day.
    _
Matt 6:33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God and His righteousness and all these things shall be added unto you.

  128. 137 Katie Good, those are nice comments and questions.

I hope all Zambians through the good leadership of HH will deny the Sata MC and his Bemba tribalism for the benefit of all Zambians.

To PF, ask the UPND people what “sokwe kaamuleyakatabi” means.

    Have a nice day.
    _
Matt 6:33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God and His righteousness and all these things shall be added unto you.

  129. KatieGoodDays @136…You are right about the Post News Papers. They are imbued with the belief that they are infallible and that the power of the pen will always destroy.I do not think we are in an epoch where indoctrination or brainwashing can work.People have been to school and are now able to think scientically except the kaponya group. If the Post had the power they illusory thought they had they could have stoped RB from becoming president. But they still think that they can sway people into their line of thought hence the incessant attacks on RB and MMD while propping up Sata projecting him as a saint yet a few years ago he was loathed….The Post !
