The Football Association of Zambia FAZ has said that it is facing challenges in getting COVID-19 results on time.
FAZ Super League Manager Brian Mulenga says this because the Ministry of Health is overwhelmed with the number of tests it is carrying out countrywide.
Mulenga says this has resulted in receiving results late and behind schedule.
He says so far, all Supper League teams have been tested but some results are not yet out.
Mulenga was speaking to ZNBC sports in an interview.
He, however, says this week’s midweek fixtures will go on as scheduled because the teams involved have been declared COVID-19 free.
Mulenga has also disclosed that a conclusive decision will be made on the cancelled fixture involving Forest Rangers and Zanaco over the weekend.
He said the FA will also give its final position on all fixtures for Forest rangers, after 28 players and club officials tested positive for COVID-19.

Domestic arguments involving Zambia’s High Commissioner Frank Bwalya and his wife Joyce on one side and the Zambian female-chef employed at their residence has attracted the involvement of the Australian government.
Well placed sources familiar with the matter told Daily Revelation that there have been serious issues involving the Bwalya’s and the Zambian lady, only known as bana Chanda, who is employed by the Zambian government and attached to High Commissioner as chef at the envoy’s residence.
Sources said the main assertion is that High Commissioner Bwalya’s wife, Joyce Nkunika has not been treating Bana Chanda well.

Who is Mr Lungu not to be booed –Andrew Banda
FORMER deputy high commissioner to India Andrew Banda has outlined failure of President Edgar Lungu and the PF that have precipitated booing.
And Banda says UPND leader Hakainde Hichilema has been assisting chiefs in Southern Province and other parts of the country for a long time but does not blow his own trumpet.
Banda, a senior UPND member, was commenting on the booing of President Lungu in Monze and the resultant chorus of declaration of certain areas as no go zones for Hichilema.
Banda said declaring the Northern circuit as a no go area for UPND and Hichilema following President Lungu’s jeering in Monze was utter nonsense.
