Movement for multi party democracy MMD Katuba Member of Parliament Jonas Shakafuswa has charged that those who are telling him to stay away from the party convention are empty tins.
Shakafuswa was reacting to the threats that he will not be allowed to attend the MMD convention.
Lusaka Province MMD youths this week warned that former Republican vice-president Enoch Kavindele and Katuba MMD parliamentarian Jonas Shakafuswa will be physically barred from the party Convention because of their negative comments and insults against President Rupiah Banda.
MMD Lusaka Province youth chairman Chris Chalwe indicated that senior leaders who knew that they were in bad standing with the party wanted to cross the line by going to the party Convention, the choice was theirs.
Mr Shakafuswa said that he will not succumb to Mr Chalwe’s threats as he is too small to bar him from attending the convention.
He says that the way Mr. Chalwe is talking is clear confirmation that he has no brain.
MR Shakafuswa vowed to attend the convention and that nothing would stop him.
