Opoosition National Revolution Party (NRP) leaders Dr Cosmo Mumba has described outspoken former Defence minister George Mpombo and ex Works and Supply minister Mike Mulongoti as bootlickers who have lost vision.

Dr Mumba told ZANIS in an interview in Lusaka today, that the two sacked ministers are destroyers who should not be taken seriously by any well meaning Zambian.

He warned the electorate and Patriotic Front (PF) Leader Michael Satan not to accept Micheal Mulongoti and George Mpombo and Mbita Chitala utterances.

” Zambians should be aware that Mr mulongoti and Mr Mpombo these are the same people that exhibited their foolishness whilst in government,” the NRP president said

Dr Mumba told Zanis in an interview in Lusaka today that the conduct exhibited by the former MMD leaders is an acceptable and must be condemned by all Zambians.

He pointed that now that they are out of government they want to talk ill about the government adding that these are things they could have exposed whilst they were in government than to go round and antagonize issues.

Dr Mumba was reacting to former deputy Minister of Finance and one –time ambassador to Libya Mbita Chitala in today’s Post News paper that it is illegal to use public funds for campaigns by the MMD.

Meanwhile the National Revolution Party has launched its manifesto on the the website and face book page for people to read their manifesto.

  1. So if we read this manifesto then what? imwe bene Cosmo be serious we are not playing this year we need change through PF and SATA.

  2. Although I do not know what Cosmo stands for, I agree that most of the leaders crossing from MMD (especially the fired ones) must be retired from active politics by having all doors to political parties closed to them. Let them form the nashala neka parties that eventually implode into oblivion. As for Mpombo I think he is a brave cadre who must be given the benefit of the doubt. I am just worried that he had the tendency of walking on his knees when he was in government before his president… maybe Cosmo is referring to acts such as these…

  3. He warned the electorate and Patriotic Front (PF) Leader Michael Satan not to accept Micheal Mulongoti and George Mpombo and Mbita Chitala utterances.

LT, you just called Sata as Michael Satan….hahahaha that is a good one. Or maybe he changed his name.

  4. These chaps who want to playing with voters shouldn’t be tolerated this year of regime change.
    What manifesto?
The battle is only for the two heavy weight political giants SATA of PF and BANDA of MMD,period.
The remaining jokers HH,MILUPI,MAGANDE,MUMBA,SIULAPWA and others are just their to split votes. You just endorse rupiah like you did in 2011.
These light weight politicians think we are playing that we want change.
VOTE SATA AND PF IF YOU WANT CHANGE.
