Ms Stasiak said the EU has become a significant partner in promoting democracy in Zambia, through invitations to observe the electoral process, which the Zambian government has once again granted and awaiting confirmation from Brussels.

“Zambia is a young nation, two thirds of your population is under 25 and we want to reflect this in our policies and hence we had this wonderful engagement today with the EU-Zambia sounding board,” she highlighted.
