Zanaco Beat Mbabane Swallows

Zanaco beat Mbabane Swallows 3-2 today in their CAF Champions League preliminary round first leg game at Nkoloma Stadium in Lusaka.

Maonga Kabuku put Zanaco ahead in the 4th minute before Roderick Kabwe scored on his début to see the hosts take a 2-0 lead into the break.
Swallows made it 2-1 through Phinda Ginidza in the 48th minute.

Three minutes later Henry Banda extended Zanaco’s lead.

However, Swallows narrowed the margin in the 74th minute through Tony Tsabedze in the 74th minute.

Swallows must beat Zanaco by at least 1-0 in the return leg in a fortnights time to advance to the first round while a draw away will be enough for The Bankers to see the through.

  1. I don’t watch African football. I only watch when white people who have PHDs in football and my husband are playing.

    Thanks

    LOL

    • Mushota
You suffer a serious inferiority complex. Do you know that David Beckham , Harry Rednap can hardly speak or write English. It doesn’t mean they are useless

    • Mushota, I thought you said you leave with your fiancé in Scotland, so you are now leaving with your husband, congrats on your married your husband must be a very lucky man, God bless him….and wish u all the best 🙂

  2. Mushota yo prostitution has gone to your rotten head. One day you will go back to Zambia ninshi notumatako twalipwa!!

  3. Forgive Mushota. She’s lacking something in life & she can not openly disclose it on this platform. She’s been finding means of bringing it out but she fails to express her real issue.
    Pls bare with her

    • Please tell us. Is she going to have a sex change operation and become a man? is she a Lesbian please please please mwema bosses

  4. Well done Zanaco! Oh no whom am I kidding? You are a useless team! Don’t u know they only need to beat u by 1-0 in the return tie and you will be out?

  5. ZANACO lacked match fitness. This was their first game of the season. They have a very good chance of pulling through. The boy Rodrick Kabwe is very good.

  6. I regret watching Zanaco playing the game against a very low standard team like that.I was left wondering if realy kegan Mumba is qualified and were he got all those players .If you re new in the country might think it was a social game being played by MADALAS before start drinking beer , except one Rodiwell Kabwe.Zanaco will be embarrassing Zambia each time they represent in champions cup and I wonder why a big club can’t invest and scout good talent from rural area.It is a team like a bunch of beer drinkers .That team will not go past next opponent KAISER CHIEFS because they will write good history about Zanaco .Its better booted out now.FAZ also should change league calendar because clubs that plays this tournament struggle for fitness due to luck of more games off season
