Mweuke out for two weeks

Injured Kabwe Warriors striker Musonda Mweuke will be out of action for at least two weeks.
Warriors coach Dick Ngwenya said Musonda has twisted his ankle.

The veteran striker missed Sunday’s 1-1 draw Warriors recorded against Kalulushi Modern Stars in Kitwe.

“Mweuke has an injury which will take two weeks, he has an ankle problem,” Ngwenya said.

Musonda’s lone goal on 24th March, helped promoted Warriors to record their first win of the season when they stunned Power Dynamos 1-0 in Kitwe.

Fourth placed Warriors, who have 11 points, on Sunday host Green Buffaloes at Godfrey “Ucar” Chitalu Stadium in Kabwe.

  3. Mweukes absence is a blow for Kabwe Warriors. Although age may be catching up with him Mweuke brings valuable experince to the team. Infact to me Muzo as he is known at the Godrey Chitalu stadium is the most intliigent player among srikers. Well, I wish him a speedy recovery.
