Mighty fall at Chingalika

Kitwe United maintained their second position on the FAZ Division One North table after beating visiting Mufulira Wanderers 2-0 at Garden Park Stadium in Kitwe on Sunday.

The Buchi Boys put up a spectacular second half performance after the two teams went to the half time break with scores tied at 0-0.

Congolese winger Sheribe Kamangu opened the scoring from a direct free kick just after the break to hand United a second half lead.

Later, Michael Musonda doubled the home team’s lead minutes before the final whistle.

The win has pushed United to 18 points just one behind leaders National Assembly who beat Mufulira Blackpool 2-1 in Mufulira on Sunday.
