beautiful road out there…ni pamaka
Sorry that is a Likishi dancer not a Nyau dancer. Makishi dancers are Luvales, Luchazis and Mbundas in North Western and Western Provinces. Nyau dancers are from Eastern Provinces. They usually only have their faces covered!
sorry too,i am on pic 15, 16 and 17 if that is likishi to you may the get healed fast from that bitterness, your children will suffer more if you have any.
@kamihi
spot on!! thats a likishi called mwanampwebo,,,,,those of us who went to mukanda not to a clinic or hosital understand that
And pic 20 & 21,,,what are those PF cadres doing in a kids` train????
Why is Dr Kaseba and Bush holding hands like that?
Thanks
@1 Notorious, ya the road looks good, but its not straight.
Pic 4-5…nice skills by the Nyau dancer right there.I just wonder how he manages to balance himself there and sit on the edge of that pole without it pricking him kuntungu.Pic 15-18…wow am very much impressed with the Chiawa road project. This is what am talking about. We need more of this.Pic 32…aba ba candidate imilomo ukufita.Looks like paliba sana fwaka but abena candidate Elina Nyirenda bena balemoneka laka.I can see a future Silvia Masebo or Dora Siliya in her.Nice pics ba LT.
Kanshi ulamona naiwe ka ? Elina ni proper bosses.
That is a Likishi and not a Nyau dancer!
THAT’S THE WASTE PART OF ZAMBIANS- THEY DON’T KNOW THE TYPES OF DANCE PERFORMED IN ZAMBIA. BUT, THEY KNOW MOON DANCE PERFOMED IN US. KNOW WHAT YOU HAVE BEFORE YOU KNOW YOUR NEIGHBOURS’. HOW CAN YOU FAIL TO RECOGNISE OR DIFFERENTIATE BETWEEN A NYAU AND A MAKISHI DANCE/DANCER? BACHONGOLOLO BAPAKUNYA, IMWE.
@kamihi
spot on!! thats a likishi called mwanampwebo,,,,,those of us who went to mukanda not to a clinic or hosital understand that
Miles Sampa at work, this is one of the only ones in PF who is not an I-D-I-O-T.
George Dubya Bush, Jungle style, greatest president the world ever saw, he comes to zambia and helps us. thats all that matters, I dont care what he did to anybody else, i only care that he helped my people. Thank you sir.
Ni Pamaka.. I see Zesco poles have also been put and await stringing of the 11 KV line. Link Zambia 8000 better work. If this is where my fuel & maize subsidies are going, I have no issues.
Pics# 1,2 & 3 shows exactly why we’re poor.We can’t be bothered to maintain anything and we apply minimal effort at what we do yet we expect to reap rich rewards?
Elina you are so beautiful, but why standing on a dead party sure? I would like to meet you for love and advise after all you are my mbuya
Pic# 5 – Nyau dancer! Wipona!
The Trade Fair was opened by the right person, Zambian Minister of Trade & Commerce. I don’t know why some punks like Nevers Mumba have to make an issue out of it.
George & Laura, please do the same for South Side in Chicago. Charity begins at home.
Just leave South Side Chicago, why are you there, charity begins in Zambia.
Nuby, you are prettier than Elina. If only people knew that!
Solola Bye!
beautifulless road out there…ni pamafi indeed
Iwe, waumfwa jealous. That is where the subsidy you were crying for going.
Elina ! Mawe natambako kamwana lelo.Milomo che nimilandu.
I have never liked G. Bush until NOW… Him and wife Laura are so commiited to make a difference even in Zambia.. even after being mocked by ba Sata, the guy still come back… but this time he has nothing to with King Cobra. Good work my man . George W.
The likishi dancer should be sent to the Olympics and Zambia can win a gold. The kipushi post is an eyesore. Bush is a good man.
Kipushi Police Post – What the hell is that! And the enquiries desk fyani! Mwebantu this cant be!
That was normal under MMD Bunch of robbers
#S 23 AND 24- ARE THOSE WHEELCHAIRS MADE IN ZAMBIA? IF YES, THEN GREAT. IF NO, ONE WONDERS WHY THOSE WHEELCHAIRS CANNOT BE MADE IN ZAMBIA BY LENCO OR ANY MECHANICAL OR MOTOR ENGINEERING COMPANY. OR JUST AN INDEPENDENT COMPANY TO MANUFACTURE MOBILITY VEHICLES. HOWEVER, THE IDEA OF DONATING THOSE WHEELCHAIRS TO THE NEEDY IS WONDERFUL. NOW, PAVE ALL THE ROADS TO MAKE THEM USEFUL.
BA LT, WHY DIDN’T YOU SHOWS US THE PAINTED/MARKED PART OF THE NEW LEOPARD’S ROAD INSTEAD OF THE ONE WHICH THEY ARE STILL WORKING ON? JOURNALISM IN ZAMBIA LIVES SO MUCH TO BE DESIRED. SEE #S 15, 17 AND 17. HOW CAN ACCIDENTS BE AVOIDED IF EVEN SIMPLE BASIC THINGS AS ROAD-MARKING CAN’T BE DONE BA GOVERNMENT NAIMWE?
Spot on dude absolutely right, why spend all that money and fell to complete the work,no road markings and the side roads look like a tip, come on lads we can do better than that, we need to raise the bench mark do things more professionally, otherwise you’re doing a good job but don’t spoil it by not completing the good work… Viva Zambia and the PF. God Bless 🙂
THE SECURITY GUARD BEHIND DR CHENDA (#19) IS QUITE HANDSOME- GIRLS WHERE ARE YOU? HE IS ALSO WELL NOURISHED.
LAKA!!!!!!!!!!!
#1,WHAT AN EYESORE,ALL THE RICHES OF NORTHWESTERN PROVINCE CAN’T BUILD A DECENT POLICE STATION.ALL THE MONEY GOING TO MUCHINGA PROVINCE.
PF JUST CANCEL ONE BYE ELECTION AND USE THE MONEY TO IMPROVE THE INFRASTRUCTURE.YOU SHOULD HAVE SHOWN US THE STAFF HOUSES ALSO.
#1,WHAT AN EYE SORE!ZAMBIA IN 2013.WHY ,WHY?PLEASE CANCEL JUST I BYE ELECTION AND USE THE MONEY TO IMPROVE THE INFRASTRUCTURE.BA LT WHERE ARE THE STAFF HOUSES
I like the road,it looks great
Pic 20. Is that the best Parliamentary candidate NAREP could float? All the other candidates look presentable except for him. And they wonder why they fail to get 100 votes
That so called Police post needs to be demolished, its a death trap ready to crumble. And the Home Affairs minister will do nothing after inspection.
okay, the people in the area banan’gani. if they valued the police post, they would have built for themselves a better structure. waiting for government to do it might never as is likely happen
#13,Dr.Fubis,Good to see you.Hardworking and dedicated colleague.Keep it up!
kipusi immigration officer,alemoneka uwalila bad.
All very very good pictures LT except for one with one vile thieving **** in it.
Sikupendi wewe hata kidogo una roho mbaya yenye chuki.
Picture # 28, I alway tell Lusaka times that beautiful women in Zambia are from the East, West and southern provinces.
She should have stood as an independent candidate. May the LORD JESUS protect and Bless Elina Nyirenda in her life endeavors and her whole entire family.
In the early 1990’s, there used to be “PUSH Projects” in Zambia, meant to alleviate poverty in communities of the most vulnerable areas. The people of such communities were supervised by a qualified builder to make clay &/or concrete blocks, then participate in the building of their own houses, clinics, police posts, etc.
This is how the new Zambia City community managed to build new houses, a nutrition & health centre, etc, for themselves, in Luanshya district.
Those people in Solwezi can be mobilised to do the same, instead of waiting for the government or GWBush to come and rescue them ! Shame indeed!
That filthy police post in zed says alot about our lack of care, lack of work ethic and love of mediocrity.Glad i left this hellhole with a culture of laziness.
Mother Zambia, SHAME! Independent since 1964, but just have a look at the Immigration, & Police post. Still in the (STONE AGE), only better than the” self funded”- Mailoni brothers grass hut. The issue i’m about to raise is i’m sure if you trawl through past budget receipt’s/ documentation, money would have been allocated by the government of the day to develop this same infrastructure, but obviously some Individual’s pocket’ed the Money/ resources. This is why i’m so against Zambia borrowing more cash from rich Nation’s. The Cash will be be misappropriated by Boys & Girls in the current Ruling Govt, & Zambia & the common man will be left with infrastructure of quality Only found in what qualifies as a Failed State. We & Generation’s to come will then have to Pay back this…
Pic.#11. I feel sorry for Laura. BTW, is that the acceptable diplomatic etiquette?
I agree with you Larry Pic#11 Laura looks forgotten. All attention To the DOC.
Bwana minister, you went and saw Kipushi border post. Now tell us, what is the way forward? The police cannot be working in such conditions! And what impression does it give to people entering Zambia through such a place? Ba minister, draw up a program (I dont care whether it is you or your PS) to put up proper structures there and anywhere else where the situation is the same.
Pic 2 and 3. We Zambians are just too lazy. Honestly can’t the villagers organize themselves and burn some clay bricks and put up a decent structure? In the 21st century we (Africans) can still not build concrete structures. There is a debate still going on if really the great Zimbabwe ( stone houses) ruins was really built by an African kingdom.
Most of the infrastructure was built by the British colonial govt. and we as an independent nation have failed to improve on that let alone maintain the infrastructure. I am beginning to question our capabilities as a race. Everywhere the white man has gone he has brought about development . Look at North America,South Africa,Australia and New Zealand to name a few. On the contrary we as blacks have failed to improve our surroundings and provide a better quality of life for ourselves. Outside Africa, Haiti is a perfect example, a black dominated country and as you might have guessed right, the poorest country in the northern hemisphere.
@kABAMBA……….I 101% share your sentiments…..
Picture # 29.
Elina Nyirenda don’t be another Dollar Silly yah!
Yaba, pa Zed napo awe mwe. How honestly do people live in these conditions ??????????????????
