China says it has grown its investment levels in Africa from 70 to 80 billion united states dollars this year.
The growth has been over a period of nine months.
Director in charge of West Asian and African Affairs in the Ministry of Commerce, Chai Zhijing, says Africa and Zambia in particular remain a strategic partner in trade relations.
Mr. Chai told ZNBC’s Anne Mukabe in Beijing, that his government will support investments that are aimed at benefiting the people of Africa and China.
He said the Chinese government has set up a credit facility, the China-Africa Development fund, to assist Chinese businessmen invest in various sectors of Zambia.
Mr. Chai said the abundant natural resources in Zambia makes the country a conducive place for investment.

No# 5 the subsidising of goods like mealie meal and utilities killed ZCCM. Zambia dependence on a single major export slowed us down in the economic sector. Kaunda spoon fed us to a point of dullness; only now are we awakening. May the Lord bless us all, let us work hard like these same Americans you are condeming, their country is developed because they work their bottoms off. I am praying and working towards affording our country redemption that the Lord has granted through our greatest resource, Human resource; the Zambian population.

The reason we allow these so called infestors to come in the first place is because we are lazy lets try to be like Nigerians you wont find foreigners in Naija because they believe in themselves and that whatever foreigners can do they too can do it.
even me, if i invested in another country, i would want retains. Let them just increase the pay for there workers so that ministers can fatten from the tax.
