  1. Too late the hero, PF is already in decline. We are not impressed, how do you expel students who are gunuinely crying for better accommodation at CBU but opt to build a university in a game park in muchinga province?

    • This kambwanga of the president has just waken up from his brain dead sleeping and make misguided declarations after two weeks of underground treatment in London. Keep misleading the un educated and uninformed Zambians because thats were you belong in the land of kaponyas and irresponsible politicians. I care less. Thanks God I am better off and your fortunes are slowly dwindling after ascending to power through lies, deciet, and false pretence. Let me even open my can of cold beer to quench my throat.

    • Old Ukwa – Though ailing, can you be serious for once. We don’t care about rethoric any more. There more important things requiring urgent attention.

You are so dis-jointed to a point you do not even realise what’s urgent or not.

    • @ Gundixy
Not just Kitwe but the entire copperbelt township road network.

The copperbelt still is the engine that drives the country’s economy.

Copperbelt contributes a lot more as a single province and deserves far better in return than what it gets

    • It looks like development is mostly for the non tax paying base sector which on drains the economy. Yes, govt must create real jobs and not project based classified daily employees (CDEs).

    • Check what America is doing to revamp its economy, Obama has always emphasised on road contruction, bridges and all that. Lets not be ignorant people. The money paid to these same workers is then spent within the country through consumption and buying of ifisakulo from the women at kamwala. What happened to VAT has it ceased to be a tax.

  2. I like our Head In State. Division of labour, while Firing and promoting others, Chellar is busy issuing Presidents development statements. I thought the best time was himself to strongly talk about this rather than women who sale combs ints. stree

  3. Why not finish the other road projects first? these chaps are inventing projects so they can launder as much money as possible. Show us the link Zambia progress first before you start blinding people with fake projects. Sort out the railways first, then you can bring in machinery to build and furnish our dilapidated roads.

    • bauze ba Chimbwi No Plan, they are trying to spread out the resources without assessing whether the link 8000 has achieved its objectives.

    • This where the media or reporters come in and inform the people of Zambia, they need to follow up with these projects and keep the citizens updated.

  4. HE MICHAEL SATA WILL LEAVE A MARK TRUST ME.HE HAS LIVED IN ENGLAND AND WORKED IN ENGLAND HE HAS SEEN GOOD ROADS AND THE BENEFITS OF HAVING GOOD ROADS.
A LEADER IS REMEMBERED FOR LEAVING A MARK.WE SALUTE YOU MR PRESIDENT.

WITH BENARD CHIWALA AS PS. WE WILL SEE WONDERS THIS MAN IS A MAN OF ACTION AND GOD FEARING MAN .MAY THE LORD BLESS OUR COUNTRY

  5. The same govt which declared a budget deficit is now announcing projects costing so much, and what is happening with the other link fimifimo? This is confusing.

  6. Government shall consider best utilising surplus cash lying with NAPSA (K7 billion) and Occupational Pension Fund Schemes (with insurance companies and Africa Life, Aon and Alexander Forbes – K2.3 billion) for road, health and school projects. Savings from fuel and agriculture subsidies are in billions and will provide regular cash flow to the government to pay off these borrowings from pension funds over a period.
We need development and invest in future of Zambia.

    • You are as foolish as Chimbwi No Plan Wynter. I did not know there are people who don’t know that NAPSA money belongs to contributors.. and govt is not a contributor to NAPSA. You do not even know that savings from removal of subsidies have since been wiped out through PF’s budget overrun. We will need another K32 Trillion (K32 Billion now) to finish 2013.
      A govt of monkeys indeed!

  7. Please ba President consider construction of dual carriageways on our highways, especially Great East Road, Great North Road, Mongu, and Lusaka-Livingstone roads. These are the roads where we keep losing a lot of lives.

  8. U FO O L S WHO TOLD U THAT OTHER WORKS ARE STOLLED. U, IT IS NOT ABOUT ZAMBIA IT IS ABOUT YOUR BELLIES. SATA,SATA!BRAVO PF! WE ALL NEED SUCH INFRUSTRACTURE .MUKOSE BA SWINE. YO LIES,INSULTS ,FALSEHOOD AND SLANDER WON’T U GO ANYWHERE. GO,GO,GO,GO PF !

  9. S TUPID ZAMBIANS ,SO THOSE IN COMPOUNDS DON’T NEED SUCH ROADS? THERE IS NOTHING U WILL BE HAPPY ABOUT PF FOR OBVIOUS REASONS.Y DO U WISH PF DOES NOT DELIVER?U WANT US 2 WAIT 4 YO HH OR NEFWASI 2 BE IN POWER THAT’S WEN WE SHALL RECEIVE ROADS?ID IOT S!

  10. Are these projects going to start in 90 days from the 16th of August or will they be completed in 90 days from the 16th of August?

  11. Clearly we need a K 400 N400 M 400 C 400 for Kitwe Ndola Mufulira Chingola whose roads have dissappeared. Still, c onspicuosly missing from that list: kanyama mandevu garden chawama John laing and Howard etc Zambian roads are a very tall order

  12. If PF wants to regain popularity (and no one is against that), (i) embark on serious development projects such as this one, (ii) allow the opposition to hold rallies, (iii) instruct the police to enforce the Public Order Act professionally, (iV) review the appointment of the Chief Justice, (v) separate the position of Minister of Justice from pure partisan politics. If you did that I can assure you more of our MPs (particularly those seeking jobs in govt) will flock to PF in 2015, in time for elections. That is how you compete and not the current method of intimidation, scorn and mockery of the opposition.

  13. Road rehab welcum in Lsk.Especialy thse mentiond areas.Aready Kafue undrgoing dual cariage way. 14. ASK ME ABOUT SA AND BOTSWANA?

YOU WON’T GO ANYWHERE IF YOU DO NOT MAKE YOUR COUNTRY ATTRACTIVE TO INVESTORS BY IMPROVING YOUR INFRASTRUCTURE.

AND ENGAGING YOUR HUMAN RESOURCE IN LABOR INTENSIVE ABSORBING PROJECTS SUCH A THIS ONE.

    SATA, YOU HAVE THE VISION…

  15. Whenever I come home, I always have to move around with a shoe brush in my jacket because of dust in our towns/cities.

Madala, why did you allow Chiluba to destroy your country?

    • Had it not been for FTJ the roads would have been empty, few home owners. The one who destroyed Zambia is KK. Ask him (KK) why he turned Kansanshi Copper Gold Mine into a fish and chicken farm, why he allowed his soldiers to feed humans with chameleons, essential commodity shortages, a 6 hour trip to take 2 weeks on his worthless UBZ. KK is alive and can defend himself. FTJ can’t answer back when you foolishly and falsely accuse him. Ask KK why he left us with a USD7.2 Billion external debt and K0.00 in our reserve bank. Ask him why he allowed his nephew Francis Kaunda to run down our mines. Vissio@work is a sata nist.

  16. RB

    COULD HAVE POCKETED THAT MONEY

    TO SHARE WITH SONS OR

TO PUT IT INTO A SINGAPORE BANK ACCOUNT OR

TO REPAY A LOAN FROM A NIGERIAN CAMPAIGN FUNDER.

TO PUT IT INTO MPUNDU TRUST ACCOUNT.

    CHILUBA COULD HAVE BOUGHT

    SHOES AND APARTMENTS.

    MMD, NI BA MAMBALA CHABE……

  17. Imwe lekeni fyakulanda landa. Sata ni nshimbi!!! You are yet to see the development that will be unleashed before 2016. Just watch!

  18. Development to pliz the masses its like a married man spending to pliz a girlfriend.

Its all in vain she’ll still Donchi kubeba you.

  19. ZWD already talked about this; Sata has 10% commission and Mulenga Sata has 10% commission (a total of USD34.88 Million) from this project. This is just one project. One wonders how much this man who in Aug 2011 was worth 7 guns, a Toyota Carina and a few shares in SCB is worth now, barely two years as president! Unlike RB, Sata’s corruption cases are easy to prove in court…jail will kill this PF.

  20. Thanks U Mr.Sata.We need such projects in Zambia.I’m so happy to hear that compounds roads will be worked on.we stil have hope in PF that compound roads will be worked on.I still believe Ba Sata can deliver. PF has a big chance to develop this country.what we are lacking are people to implement these projects.PF should deliver rather than arguing with HH and making popular.*How to win 2016
-Before 2015 PF should work on compounds roads and drainage in Lsk. Lsk will be for PF come 2016.-Winter Kabimba should tune a bit and be replaced by good lawyer as CJ.-Zesco should upgrade power stations to reduce road shedding
-Allow opposition to have rallies and freedom of speech-Cadres should be stopped from beating innocent people. One of the reasons i voted MMD out was bcoz of William Banda

  21. Bravo Ba Kateka, do not be swayed by negative, senseless comments.

People will always talk rubbish especially if they are being shamed.
