Beaumelle takes positives from loss

Interim Zambia coach Patrice Beaumelle has praised his sides’ performance despite their loss to five-time World champions Brazil.

Brazil beat Zambia 2-0 in a friendly at the Birds Nest Stadium in Beijing China on Tuesday.

The 2014 World Cup hosts cut their way to victory after scoring both their goals via set pieces.

Oscar put Brazil ahead from a free kick in the 61st minute and Dede while headed in a Neymar free kick five minutes later.

“We had a good game. Boys played well, we made two mistakes they cost us but overall I am satisfied. The boys showed a lot of determination and the heart and showed the world and Africa that they belong to this high level,” Beaumelle said.

And Brazil coach Luiz Felipe Scolari described Zambia as a great side.

“Zambia is a great team. They made it difficult for us because they were very competitive,” Scolari said.

“We are satisfied with this result but I am sure Zambia too.
“They are a great team who work for each other.”

Stem cell therapy is an intervention strategy that introduces new adult stem cells into damaged tissue in order to treat disease or injury. Many medical researchers believe that stem cell treatments have the potential to change the face of human disease and alleviate suffering.

Due to factors such as age, stress, pollution and poor diet, there is a reduction in the release and activity of adult stem cells, which may lead to a decline in the natural ability of your body to maintain optimal health.

    • MAILON BROTHERS SPORTED IN TRAINING!!
Sunzu,Kalaba & Nathan have been sportted in training this morning.. Nyota Radio Television of lubumbashi have reported that the “TRIO” have recovered & ready to play this Saturday when TP Mazembe face St Mailen in the Caf Confedration Cup semi-finals ..
“We are happy to have them back, its good they have recovered quickly” just on time before we play this weekend.. said TP official

  1. I hope our boys have learned a thing or two from their friendly! Good! You see Neymar took time out from his club to play a friendly for his national team! Pa Zed it is all about trekking through the bush to escape national duty. It is like kids absconding from secondary school afternoon class! Eish!

    • Do not aleniate the young lad’s please. Moise Katumbi didn’t want to risk them being Injured as he’s got a game this sunday in which he needs them. The best Kambwili should have done is nicely talk to Moise.

There is no way they could have shun Moise, they get paid by TP Mazembe. Contrary to a no allowance show for this friendly by FAZ, TP Mazembe continued paying these guys K100,000/- a month.

  2. Lets encourage our boys though we need more from our FAZ administrators always making last minute poor arrangement. Always looking at FAZ leadership first and players last. Greedy Chaps i don’t know how much will be paid to the Boys whilst the never Audited FAZ takes all, for their posh life styles.

  3. The best way to help our team is to point out the areas of weakness and offer some ideas on what they can do to improve unlike just flattering them and consoling ourselves with comments like we played against the best. Zambia should be strive to be the best one day. I watched the second half. There was only one shot at goal in the entire half. We need to practice more on ball possession and winning back the ball when we lose it. No single cross was sent into the box. The few attempts made went wide under no pressure at all. The midfield did not help much. They should be able to hold the ball and spread it to other players. The defenders tend to give the attackers too much space to come at them and shoot. Our goalie was once again caught off guard.

    • You can’t blame Mweene for any of those goals. The first was a deflection. Ask any goal keeper just how tricky deflections can be. The second was a defensive error. But I loved our Hipolopolo. Why? Even though these goals came in quick succession, our boys did not crumble. They stayed in the game. They even won a lot of praise from commentators.
I think Fwayo should, from now on, be used as a defender or defensive middle fielder and allowed to go forward when he can. To me, he has potential. Our defense was impressive despite that particular defensive error. Bravo!!!

    • you are very right. many a time, we don’t improve because we keep flattering ourselves. 1. HOW MANY SHOTS AT GOAL DID WE HAVE? 2. HOW MANY TIMES WERE WE DISPOSSESSED? 3. MUCH TIME DID WE SPEND IN THE BRAZILIAN HALF?

These are the questions we should ask ourselves HONESTLY.

  4. Please we no longer need those three congole traitors. If cliford mulenga was punished for celebrating zambia’s win what more the mailon brothers????

    • I have some questions to ask you brother:
-Is it in their habit of missing national matches or this is just the first time?
      -Are they unrespectfull to zambians
Don’t have a short memory brother. Sunzu is now bad? You forgot that he is the one who scored the last penalty in final and gave the cup to zambians and made you proud.
You threw all they did for your country just for one thing.
      HUMAN NATURE……

  5. If Neymar, Oscar, ramiless and all those stars who have proved themselves at world level were able to leave their clubs to play unknown Zambia, how much pride should Sunzu honestly have had to play Brazil? It shows our players have no ambition. They missed an opportunity to be watched by the chealse coach who had many players and all other premier league coaches, because whenever teams like brazil play, they attract attention by all media. Shame to those three boys for loving money more than their country, that’s why they can’t get far, they should learn from those Brazilian stars who leave their money at their clubs for the country.how much does Neymar get for playing Zambia, it’s simply pride of their country!

    • Thats a point!
At club level, these players get more than when they are playing for their national team but they find time to feature for their country.

    • Neymar, Oscar,Ramilas, Dani Alves left their clubs to feature for their country because they want to included in final Brazil 2014 world cup team. With our friends in Europe and South America teams you fight for a place in the team not here where position is automatic even if you are off form like Mayuka and Chris Katongo. The other thing is that TP Mazembe could not risk their top players like Sunzu,Kalaba & Sinkala because of a crucial Champions league game.Moise Katumbi knew that if he had released his Zambian players they would have arrived a day the game in Lubumbashi. Which typical of Zambian players. What we need as a country now is to players competing positions whether at club level or National team.

  6. THE CHIPOLOPOLO HAVE DONE THE NATION GREAT AND THAT IS WHAT IS EXPECTED OF ANY ZAMBIAN WORTH OF ITS CITIZENSHIP. WE NEED TO DISCOVER MORE STRIKERS OTHERWISE WE CAN PLAY ANY COUNTRY WITH OUR PLAYERS. BEST OF WISHES IN YOUR FUTURE ENGAGEMENTS CHIPOLOPOLO.

    • ***** how much did Neymar,a world class star got to play zambia? But these mailoni borthers are a disgrace who deserve to be punishment.efyo bapwa ama players.

    • Its a shame Sunzu and Nathan can’t look beyond TP mazembe anyway its water under the bridge now lets move on.
FAZ give us England to open Heros National stadium.

  8. good game,

as for the mailon brothers, they should never set their feet in zambia, will make sure they are wired like their fellows and parade their bodies and money.
as expected, all the three are bemba chaps.

    • tom@13 calm down their tribe has nothing to do with it, look beyond tribe for once will you? Forgive and give them a second chance they surely must have leant something from this.

  9. DAVID LUIZ,NEYMAR,RAMIRES AND OTHERS DECIDED TO LEAVE THEIR POWERFUL CLUBS TO PLAY A FRIENDLY WITH ZAMBIA WHO IS KALABA,SUNZU AND SINKALA TO RESPECT ZAIRE NATIONAL TEAM AND DISREPECT THEIR OWN COUNTRY THAT SENT THEM TO ZAIRE THE BOYS MUST PAY FOR THIS.

  10. @ Bwalya #9 Zambia was playing against the team which humiliated the reigning world champions ,Spain at the confederation cup. It is rated as one of the best Brazilian teams to be assembled in recent years. So dont you see why for Zambia it was a victory worth celebrating ,to have avoided a cricket scoreline like what happened to Egypt vs Ghana yestaday.

  11. My humble appeal to FAZ ,Government and all soccer loving Zambians is to support the national team and the coach. Lets give the new coach time. Every time we change the coach we disturb the the rhythm of the game. Its not easy to Brazil with the caliber of player they have.

  12. OLDRUGS OUT..at 2.4 You do not think properly. If Brazil can sacrifice Oscar and Luios to play Zambia who is Kalaba not to sacrificed to play for Mother Zambia.Dull chap.

  13. MAILON BROTHERS SPORTED IN TRAINING!!

  14. Thas how chipolopolo play when they take any particular match serious. The problem is there seriousness is not consistent.

The absence of the Mailon brothers was a blessing in disguise. It showed that we’ve a lot of capable players.

In the next friendly game mwene and katongo ( captain and vice ) should fake/feign injury or malaria so that we also see how the team play without them.

  15. Just forgive the TP Mazembe trio Mailon bros. Analizing the three i recall Kalaba nearly costed chipolopolo the 2012 afcon by missing the vital penalty..While Sunzu went on to score a clincher…In the Ghana game it was Nathan Sinkala who had to score a consolation thr Kalaba’s well caculated corner kick. In bemba they say umwana Kasempe. I think they just have to be warned.

  16. FAZ are just too disorganized. At what point in time did they inform TP, did they try to reach a compromise? FAZ should outsource travel arrangements, player club liaisons etc they just dont have the capacity. Otherwise we will continue to be dogged by L sportto, London fiasco, Sudan WCQ two day late arrivals, no visas to France, Ghana delays, missing players for Brazil match, type of arrangements.

  17. What are the break downs of the monies earned from the game with Brazil? How much did FAZ get and how much was paid to the boys?

  18. One amazing statistic I just came across. Soccer is one of Brazil’s major foreign exchange earner.(TV rights and foreign based players’ remittances). Imagine we can’t even market the Vic Falls. It’s time to pull up our socks.
