This is a very delicate time for this country. Not surprisingly, a lot has been said but even more surprisingly there is a lot more that has not been said. Many Zambians have questions about the recent events and many questions since the Patriotic Front government came to power. Here are my fifty questions that I ask as a Zambian. They are not in any order of importance. I simply typed them as they came to mind. Feel free to add any questions that come to your mind.

  1. Nice questions… There are a lot more questions of course that need answers.. Unfortunately, most Zambians don’t love reading and I’m sure they have felt lazy to finish reading through your questions.. No wonder they can be cheated by any type of politicians whether dull or intelligent..

    • You call yourselves a Christian Nation, because that is what you where taught from childhood. It’s called BRAINWASHED!!

    • Why do Tongas vote for Bemba candidates when they are being insulted and their HH is labelled with all sorts of unprintables when he is such a humble and intelligent man?
Is it because he is unable to speak Bemba while the late Mazoka was able but lost because the Northerners rejected him?

How does it feel to be told you will never ever become a ruler in your own country?

    • Ati Zambians are lazy…. Well I tried to read through but my surprise is that all the questions are phrased to suggest a specific outcome. that is to assume that everything Sata and the PF did were negative. You know Zambians know what they do that’s why we are a specific in what to concentrate on and what not to. not everything written or spoken is objective and why should an objective community waste time on irrelevant matters? we are a peaceful nation because we waste little time on such matters.

  2. The real question we should all be asking ourselves is Zambia a Christian nation (its blasphemy to continue using that term while still allowing Churches to have VISA ATM Machines)?

    • Christianity or any other religion should be in one’s heart not some sort of conscription. It is meaningless.

    • If many people convene at a particular spot whether church building or not, and it is safe, why not locate an ATM there for the convenience of the people? I am sure the neighborhood is benefiting from the convenience of having an ATM at such a safe place as the cathedral. You are just jealous. In any case that cathedral has added value to Lusaka as a city. Bravo brother Bishop Dr Joe Imakando. Your God has heard your prayers. Never mind the negative guys trying to discredit you. Could banks kindly put ATMs at St Ignatius, Child Jesus and New Apostolic HQ in Long Acres for the benefit of surrounding areas. It makes sense. Nothing wrong with money but the love of it. Locate convenience shops there too, but NOT inside the sanctuaries, please!!!!

  3. MORE QUETIONS & ANSWERS
    1. Who shud take over from Sata.
    # GUY SCOTT? Not qualified, we cant accept a muzungu to be president, you will be taking as back to 1960.
    # EDGAR LUNGU? Yes he will maintain peace, but his hand is weak to stop corruption. Sata’s projects will die naturally.
    # CHISHIMBA KAMBWILI? Yes he is capable. Hardworking and authoritative. He will stop the no nonsense in PF, He has a vision for the poor zambians. He has 80% charactor of SATA.
    # MULENGA SATA? Not sure if he is capable.

    • You are 100% right about Hon. Kambwily. You should also mention his inborn sense of diplomacy, great acumen in being “economical with the truth’ when it comes to answer to electorate, a person who know how to say “thank you for your vote” without even “tick” on his shining big face before adding: and if you did believe in our electoral gimmicks, you must be mental.
I do agree with you 100% Great leadership indeed.

    • You forgot incompetent (am sorry I just don’t like the guy, him and his kind are what’s wrong with our politics).

  4. YOU SEEM TO HAVE ALREADY PROVIDED ANSWERS TO YOUR QUESTIONS BY THE TIME ONE READS QUESTION 50.
YOU ARE ALSO JUST AN OPPOSITION POLITICAL PARTY SYMPATHIZER (NOTHING WRONG WITH THAT). BUT JUST COME OUT IN THE OPEN AND SAY WHAT YOU ARE AND WHAT YOU WANT INSTEAD OF ASKING QUESTIONS WHICH HAVE ALREADY GIVEN YOUR IDENTITY OUT.

  5. Zambia needs answers more than questions. We all have plenty of questions – but what we really need are smart answers to take this country forward.

  6. …what a ‘mixed bag’ of questions…..??…relevant, irrelevant, childish etc…..,I have in mind questions No. 35 and 50……I believe the writer can do better than this….

    • @ Scrutinizerer

Do not be afraid, be strong and ask couple of your questions.
If you are not in the opposition, does not matter. What maters, do you have questions or answers.
Sorry, excuses prerogative has already been taken by the “official” media.

  7. Childish question you’re just a cheap opposition political sympathizer if you can’t understand your questions then you must tone down because you’re an empty tine.

    • Stephen Zuze, any relation to Bernard Zuze?
He was a family friend to many families when I was very little in the 60’s. Well it would be nice to know his family are still in Zambia!

    • @****

Can you put some pants on! Please. Or shorts or even a girls dress, but not you knobbly, pot holed buttocks?

  8. Yes, I also want to know how much money was spent on Sata’s trips abroad for treatment and the last medical check up which claimed his life? And also how much will be spent on his funeral and burial?

  9. Why would anyone find these questions upsetting? Like you, Mr. Waumfwa and Stephen Zuze. The guy has written down some questions that the electorate in every country ask of their politicians and deserve answers to. You however, think it means the questioner is supporting the opposition or is crazy to ask such questions – THEY SHOULD BE ASKED OF EVERY POLITICIAN!!! UPND, MMD, NAREP and every kantemba party that you know!

IT’S YOUR RIGHT TO KNOW!!! capish?

  10. Well, most are tiresome. But 17 and 49 are relevant. I find those two very annoying 50 years after independence.

I can’t understand what malaise is causing this level of numbskull-iness. I mean 17 is true, but most people are looking up trees and whistling with their hands in their pockets! Let’s all pretend!

I am tired of being angry and I just want normal back. Give it to me Zambia, peace, love and unity.

  11. Very relevant questions – most of them are. Yet some people just gloss over them and then condemn. Is it any wonder that Zambia makes no meaningful progress in all areas of human endeavour with such Ostrich attitudes?

  12. Ibrahim Saed, if Navy is an imbecile then you are a grandson of a debased imbecile. Navy is right! What right does someone have to ask questions in behalf of other Zambians? Reserve whatever questions you have to yourselves!

  13. Comrades let us keep this questions aside let us wait for burial this is a time to mourn our head of state although he did nothing to us Zambians but let us respect is no more with us. Everyone get sick because we are all human beings we came from dust and we are going back to the same dust one by one so let us not politicize his death.
