Kawilo tips Zambia to beat Mozambique

Veteran coach Benjamin “Kawilo” Chilongo has expressed confidencethat Zambia will beat Mozambique in this Saturday’s crucial 2015 Africa Cup qualifier to be played in Maputo.

Second placed Zambia and Mozambique who are tied on five points drew goalless in their first Group F match played in September in Ndola.

Chilongo said he does not expect the Mambas to give Chipolopolo a torrid time in this match.

“We (Zambia) have an edge over Mozambique and I am confident that we will beat them,” he said.

The ex-Nkana and Ndola United coach, however, cautioned Honour Janza’s side against underrating Mozambique.

“Coach Honour Janza and the boys must work extra hard,” Chilongo said.

He added:” We must win this match against Mozambique in honour of our late President Michael Sata.”

  1. We are mourning and burying our late president. Time for soccer after burial.

  2. Lets count our blessings since the finals have been cancelled. We were going to be embarrassed this year
