Matero Member of Parliament Miles Sampa has officially said that he will contest the PF presidency at the party’s general conference.

Mr Sampa stated that he has been motivated to stand because he believes time has come for fresh leadership.
Addressing a media conference at Lusaka’s Pamodzi Hotel, Mr Sampa who is also Commerce Deputy Minister said he wants to become PF President to carry on late President Michael Sata’s vision for the party and the nation.

He said that he has accepted to run for the presidency after an overwhelming number of requests from ordinary PF members.

“Now this is a Jubilee year and things are seemingly taking shape. Our late President answered the Lord’s call in this year when the old generation is biblically meant to pass the leadership mantle to the younger generation. In the Bible, Leviticus…states that ‘ask yee for the verse’. I am a youth and answering this biblical call as well,” he said.

Mr Sampa said people who judge others by their age should know that at 44 years, he has done a lot of developmental projects in Matero that have benefitted both the youth and much older citizens.

“Age is not a factor in producing results to uplift the livings standards of our people. After all, I stand to be corrected but I gather our founding father Dr Kenneth Kaunda was only 40 years when he became resident of Zambia and President Obama was only 43 years when he became the most powerful man on Earth,” he said.

He added, “As we go on this campaign journey, I undertake to evoke a clean campaign based on issues and not personal attack on other opponents. I will undertake to embrace, respect and work with whomever the PF delegates will settle for at the convention.”

The Matero MP has also challenged those claiming to have been anointed by late President Michael Sata to stop demeaning the name of the late President.

“The President always encouraged people to seek the mandate of the people through an election and he was one to favour or impose anyone on party members. That’s why the assertion by some that they were anointed is a shame and embarrassing to the late President’s name. He is not there to confirm or defend himself and therefore people should not put words in his mouth or mind.”

He added, “I saw the Minister of Information Dr Katema going on TV barely an hour after burying the President falsely claiming that someone had been anointed. When the President was alive, the Information Minister was too scared to even go live on TV. He was absent on the screen during the funeral when he should have been comforting mourners and the nation at large. He however found it prudent to do so a few minutes after the burial. What a shame. I urge all those abusing the name of the President through anointment pronouncements to stop.”

    • Miles Sampa will this time around burn all churches who meet to oppose him.

Sampa is the same thug who sponsored the beating of church goers at BIGOGA.

This is truly how far Sata and PF have destroyed Zambia. Surely, people are screaming Sampa all because of K200 and free food given to them.

This man will take your wives by force and sponsor people to kill you all who are supporting a thug.

Zambia has lost direction this time around, if they are even conteplating to entertain people like Sampa for presidency.

    • But who said there is anything wrong with trying. It is better he tries and fails rather than live with the presumption that had he tried he would have been.

    • PF is in melt down. I said it months ago that once Sata dies knives will come out.

This wrangling will not end until PF cadres hack each other to death like they always do. In the coming weeks and months, PF cadres will kill each other like dogs in dog fight dens.

PF means lies, panga fighting, panga killings, and rampant corruption.

PF in melt down, MMD in melt down, so the only sane party is UPND.

    • This Sampa guy is being sponsored by the Mmembe cartel.

Its Mmembe who is sponsoring this guy. The aim is get Miles Sampa as president and then reinstate Winter Kabimba as S.G. After which Sampa will be scandalised by Mmembe and impeached to let Winter Kabimba get the presidency.

Any way us in UPND we care less what happens in PF. Let them hack each other and disband the party.

    • What will Edgar Lungu now? Because that Miles Sampa will gather money and all streets will be behind him.
Lungu should have gone for conversion.

    • Are those condemning Edgar Lungu going to wield their swords on Miles Sampa too? He appears to have defied both Lungu and Scott by shanning the MCC called by Lungu and the proposed PF General Convention by Scott. The question is what next for Scott? He seems to sack everyone who goes against his unilateral decisions. Will he sack Sampa or because his hands are tied, watch the PF falls apart as it becomes free for all. I need some popcorn please…

    • Distance your self from that conman kelvin Sampa and those militias with red barets ,this is free advice !!!. You are too childish to be president. Next !
      Zambia is not a monarch.

    • I don’t know if this guy is worth it or not, but he is the first of these guys to openly declare his interest in the office and I’ll give him credit for that. The rest have been fighting without even openly saying if the want it or not. Too much of a circus this party has become

    • It is his right and that does not mean he is smoking anything to want to stand for the PF presidency. Let him go for it and if they don’t want him they will reject him the way they have been rejecting others.

    • I dont get it, he says in the first paragraphy to evoke clean compagne without attacking oponents, but in the last paragraphy, he brings in direct attacks, its so contradicting and a disgrace. More politicians in my country than engineers and docters, thats why we may never stop mourning.

    • In comparing himself to KK and Obama, Sampa shouldn’t only look at the AGE at which these two became leaders, but understand that it was their quality and calibre as young leaders that earned them such progression. Their intelligence and previous achievements counted in their favour – even the man that Sampa is trying to succeed (the late MCS) had built his CV over very many years as a goal getter! Of course it’s good to have youthful leaders, but Sampa should know that it’s their extraordinary qualities that earn them recognition at an early age and not their hunger for high office! Now I know why the only person backing him (other than the street thugs of Matero) is ANOTHER SAMPA!!!!!!

    • @ Zambian Abandoner – Exactly dude! What is he smoking. Submitting his application at Cabinet Office for PF party position! Doesn’t the PF have their own offices for this?

    • Although I support M sampa

1.14 Wanu Ngwee you raise very telling points, cant sweep them under the carpet.

Let me make this perfectly clear, that there is a lot of us who know there is no exceptional candidates vying for the Presidency and thus we are left with little choice but go for the best of the inferior.

None of them strike you, as a must vote for leader/candidate,
They all have their own flows

We need to cide with one of them.

Blood is thicker than water and thus I will stick with Miles Sampa because he is bemba

It is like a bunch of grapes they all look suspicious abut randomly you pick up on look at it and just throw it in your mouth

No one will be as good as Michael Sata, I promise you people

      Thanks

    • Really laughable…yes, let’s replace one old deadwood relic with one empty tin…this man couldn’t even sale the removal of subsides to Zambians!!

  1. Go for it mwaiche wandi after all, you have what it takes. In a democracy, even *****s can stand in an election so, its up to the Zambian pipo to vote and this they must do for you. You are a young and vibrant young man, minister, party member, MP and corrupt-free. Go for it, you are guaranteed my vote….

    • Miles Sampa has already started failing exams. At ba President.
Obama was 47 years old. He is 53 yrs now.
Go and compete against Cosmo Mumba.

    • @Mwape
I’m not so sure about being “corrupt free” and any sound mind with all senses intact will “smell a rat” here. Who is behind this crook? I believe he once worked for Zambia premier crook Mathani himself. Could it, by any chance, be that the cartel is opting for Sampa as their saviour? I shall keep a close eye on the Post editorials.

    • So that is Zambian Politics as Mushota has stated. Only a Bemba can succeed that highiest office. I dont wallow in tribal debate but to some extent you can determine how shallow minded those who demean other tribes in Zambia or is it the level of education. Though Iam not Bemba I have many relatives and friends who are Bemba and are not tribal as these online dunderheads. When is Zambia going to learn and live past personal or tribal politics. When i become President i will introduce a deliberate policy where MPs will not be allowed to stand where they hail from, but rather in other provinces.

  2. Right age, right message wrong person!! We need morally upright leaders and not leaders who were involved in hiring mercenaries to beat up PF opponents

    • Why not? those who ride on the backs of the dead all the time, should know that democracy will prevail, no mwanawasa/banda scenario, we want elected candidate!

    • Forget his tribe and let the voters decide my man. By the way I thought some one said his mother was Tonga so he is half your own.

  3. That’s the way to go my brother Miles. Don’t limit yourself but believe in yourself. You are vibrant and committed to duty. Go for it we shall give you the necessary support.

  4. Is Cabinet office PF office. Lets respect government institutions and , bodies and offices before you offend us, please deliver those nominations to PF offices.

OOOOps GOD help us. Its like all ruling parties are the same

    • Am equally wondering how PF activities are now held at public (Government) offices. Why..?? Where PF secretariat ..??

The law must move in and stop this Nonsense.,1

    • @insp,you are spot on. That is exactly my concern….!! What a bunch of disorderly *****s who can’t distinguish between government and party issues.. For this very reason I wouldn’t vote for such a person!

  5. Where are all the intelligent men and women of this great country? Is Zambia still in existence or not? How did we let things get here? from where I stand this impasse is equivalent to ‘ukubuta’ that I could have not done way back when I was younger because it could have seemed so silly. Is this acceptable behaviour in the modern world?

  6. Akalefye umwaice akulileko..He is not a presidential material anyway.Ha ha ha last kick of cartel.Tulefwaya Edgar lungu at the moment to get eatern votes.Viva PF

  7. Take your prescription regularly. If you miss a dose follow up with the next dose time. Report any allergies. Missing the dose has side effects such as poor memory, grandiosity and poor attention to politics. Miles did you lose your description.

  8. Where are the soooooo called, ARMY?????

Bring sanity to the country, how i wish Luchembe had waited for this moment kaleza

  9. For all those who do not stay in Matero Constituency i argue u to visit Matero before u criticize the chap (Sampa) he is hard working and can easily deliver.

    Go Sampa will be supported.

    Chao

    • Matero is hardly the yardstick I would use to guage a candidate’s worthiness.
To put it bluntly, Matero does not register at global level.

Give me a candidate who’s led or championed initiatives to establish clinics in rural areas, or bring clean water, or establish antenatal clinics, or HIV initiatives etc, and is recognizable at global level….

In other words, I should be able to google a candidate’s name and they should appear with their name associated to the aforementioned type of projects And/or humanitarian efforts.

I shouldn’t have to go to Matero. (I wouldn’t go to Matero anyway, not even on a good day!)

    • You shoukd know by now that you will not find such a person in Zambia, unless you want to bring back KK, you canno disqualify everybody just because they have never had a chance to prove their work. We have many people who have done a lot for the country but are not recognised and their achievements are just on paper. We don’t have the culture of putting every information on the internet and you hardly find our MPs’ details even if you google them.

    • U are ver stupid. Dot u knw tht ther is no water in Matero 4 two montgs? Tok about dvelpmnt. Did he used his money to do wht he did? The matero cab, dt u knw tht its busness they cash k600 per week? U thnk like abov 90 with a retarded mind. Anyway thy nobody worthy to b presdnt so u hv run out of choice. I 4gv u.

    • @the observer
Actually you SHOULD! You should disqualify anyone that “cannot prove their work”. This is not a position that is open to test-driving. It’s too important.

And if (as you say) “We don’t have the culture of putting every information on the internet” then it’s high bloody time we found someone enlightened enough to drag us out of this ‘culture’ into the information age.

Also, there are actually Zambians that are recognizable – on the world stage, I kid you not!

  10. I have always respected Sampa, but on this one . He is very far from the required maturity of presidency. But lets wait and see, which Member of Central committee can back him. To my knowledge NON

  11. Democracy at work. Lungu wanted the UNIP way. Sampa wether he is fit or not has done it the right way . Let the people decide

  12. I have already made my declaration: Anyone who will be adopted by the PF as the presidential candidate will carry my heart. Miles Sampa is equally capable to carry the legacy of president Sata forward. Let the general populace of PF arrive at the best candidate at the convention. If it is Edgar Lungu, let it be, if it is Miles Sampa, let it be. Anyone with the ambition should be given chance and be subjected to the scrutiny of the masses at the convention. Central Committee choice may not be so objective. Let democracy work

  13. Mother Zambia! What a waste of time!!! A fresh start means starting from nothing not Sata’s nephew!!! I have worked on projects in Matero.. this is the worst choice a man can make. He has a lot of thugs this guy.

  14. Dangote loves you and all the Indians at its plant in Ndola than the Labour minister whose trying to make them pay better salaries to Zambians and better conditions of service. Will his love and that of his indians win you votes????

  15. Please Scott, start arresting these NEGROS, It seem they’ve been smoking some strong WEED presido forgot @state house b4 leaving for London.

  16. What I can say is that Sampa has the right to stand as presidential candidate in the PF. In fact every PF cadre has that right. But just a word of caution, conduct your campaigns and election well as mature politician. Zambians will decide which party wins the by-election.

Peace and Prosperity to Mother Zambia.

  17. That’s what they said about Sata; that because he purported to have performed when he was Governor of Lusaka, he was therefore going to make a very good president. But we all saw that Sata lamentably failed to inspire anyone as president. If Miles has done some wonders in Matero, it is not automatic that he can make a good president. Governing a country is not a joke. Anyway, I wish him luck though it won’t be easy for any PF candidate to win the presidency. In three years the PF has taken the country back to those years of abject poverty and suffering. The price of mealie meal, fuel, transport, and many other essential goods and services went up shortly after the PF assumed authority. So, who will vote for poverty and suffering again? We want trusted people and not crooks, to run the…

  18. I’m happy a bemba, a true son of the soil, good Catholic and hardworking man has finally come up. I thank God for that. I was worried about a Malawian and a protestant and alcoholic Edgar Lungu

  19. You see! TB Joshua’s prophecy has come to pass. He predicted that a president in one of the Southern Region countries was going to die. He said there was a lot of suffering and illness and that the country will be thrown into turmoil after the death of it’s leader due to succession wrangles. This is exactly what is happening.

    • You needed TB Joshua to tell you this? I could have told you that for free. Hell, even my neighbour’s dog could have told you that, though he would have asked you to stroke him in exchange.
Anytime you need something obvious prophesied to you, let me know.

  20. The eastern kaminamisa Lungu could do the same, what’s wrong with him? The man must be insane to imagine there are anointments in a democracy.

  21. Miles Sampa slow down and think critically before opening the mouth. Remember God has already anointed and aligned someone to be our future president. The MMD has started destroying one another from within the MPs, ministers and the Central Committee. Be aware of different cartels in Action. If this was 2016 election PF would have lost. With this kind of attitude PF is risking to loose 2016 election.

    • Respectfully, you contradict yourself in your statements sir.

” Remember God has already anointed and aligned someone to be our future president.”

      vs

“With this kind of attitude PF is risking to loose 2016 election.”

  22. If we were to have only two contenders at the convention: Lungu and Sampa- I bet Sampa would collect more than 70% votes. He looks more lively than Lungu; he looks more intelligent than Lungu; he looks more morally upright than Lungu; he seems to understand the meaning and importance of constitution than Lungu (what sort of a lawyer is Lungu who fails to understand his party constitution for which he is the secretary general-is he not supposed to be the custodian of party constitution and manifesto-no wonder he can not match Winter) and above all he looks healthier than Lungu.

  23. Zambia needs a president with a clean personal and professional history. We do not need a man/woman who has personal and professional weakness that could jeprodize Zambia. The next leader needs to be able to interact with foreign presidents as well as the locals from villages and towns in Zambia. Look at the credentials of the leaders from the most powerful nations in the world:
    1. They do not have current scandals ( revelations of marital affairs, promiscuity)
    2. They are all educated to at least degree level. There is no way you can understand, interpret, analyse and evaluate, contracts, legislation etc with less than a degree.
3.The are happily married. Most have only ever had one wife e.g Obama
    4. Able to make a living after the leave office therefore do not need to steal public…

    • I agree Chansa. If a man/woman cannot manage his personal affairs how on earth can he/she lead the country. Some who is a philanderer or drunkard will be distracted from running the country to say the least. I agree that a presidential candidate with his/her own wealth before taking office is not likely to steal public funds or appoint relatives who are not qualified to high positions in government. A man/woman who can risk his/her marriage and health (STD) for a one night stand with a prostitute, can easily be corrupted and sell Zambian to the highest bidder.

  24. Miles just concentrate on your concubines. You want to use national resources to acquire more girl friends. You failed to explain the issue of subsidies when you featured on Muvi Tv to debate with Muhabi Lungu. What change are u going to bring apart from the taxis you have bought for your cadres. Since the do not know Mathematics they think its a favour and yet its manipulation.

  25. I could vote for Sampa , reasons being he has done some good things in matero. With the erconstituency funds. While with others have eith taken it or kept it some were

  26. Is this Presido material? Please Zambians we should be very careful and serious with these people wanting to rule us

Sort out Matero first which fits you sir

  27. Miles Sampa is fine with me he is one of the candidates I had in mind in case Kabimba is not allowed so akaiche kaisa am waiting to hear what NPND will say mind you he is too educated and very caring.

  28. I would never endorse nor trust a man who moves around with a gang of militias that he can unleash on innocent praying people in a house of God!! Never in his wildest dream did he ever think that he was going to require the people’s vote for the office of presidency, when he used those militias (dogs of war) to beat up bishops, pastors and ordinary grass-root masses that had gathered to pray for the country and the constitution!! Sampa (even if he is my relative) will never get my vote because I am loyal to the people of Zambia.
    Thanks.

  29. fresh blood fresh problems and limited ideas people we are looking at the all country with 10 provinces
can someone help me understand the boundaries of
matero constituency because the so called development is just around matero area market
matero stadium etc how about George lilanda desai
etc are they not party of matero constituency? in George people are waking up has early has 04:oohrs just to draw water is that what you call development?

  30. …some of us had rightly predicted…..that the demise of MCS with Scott as VP will ignite this unprecedented power struggle we are witnessing now….His death was like the electronic ignition of the Uranium rods which requires a scientific approach to reverse/quench it……I agree age is just a number but requires good behaviour, attitude, maturity and wisdom to mould a leader…
….When KK ascended to the throne, what was population then and how many university graduates did we have …?…40 of yester year is equivalent to 50/60 of to-day….
..the guy is promising politics of issues and not personal assassination but he is already dwelling on age which will be personal ‘attack’ to other contestants…. stick to issues man….

  31. Zambia has really gone to the dogs….. attention seekers.. Please Miles, do some primaries with bene Cosmo Mumba, tell us the results then we might just have time for you.

  32. Another madness or tactical approach to confuse the enemy? The body of the big man should already be turning in the grave. UUUUUUUUUUUUHHHH, Love ,real love, where are you , wish the dead would look back and see the happenings. Miles, you are in a hurry, hold your tempo. Have good judgment on the ground first. you have charisma but you are too much in a hurry you may bruise yourself. Watch a distance first before you strike. Mob psychology will render you lose opportunities. Patience is a virtue.

  33. Miles Sampa put his foot into his mouth.

He started well, called for unity and cohesion around Sata’s programmes. THEN aaaaaargh, went on to name call and criticise others!

If you concentrate on what people are saying then you find out who the person really is. What strikes me is his words on Dr Katema as they are very revealing on how he sees the Office of the president. He says Dr Katema was too scared to go on national television during Sata’s tenure. Why would a government minster fear the president? He works for the people.

That then tells us Miles has an opinion that the presidential role is dictatorial. And that is precisely why PF should not endorse him.

Lungu on the other hand is all Unity and Discipline to get the boat back on the road and he is not too old…

    • Lungu if I am correct was given the most portfolios than any other minister. The portfolios are major and important. The president was confident in him and so should PF.

Miles you need to sacrifice your ambition for this position at this time so the correct man can lead and for party unity. You are not ready, and your portfolio did not offer you the dexterity needed to balance multiple responsibility. That you are the man of the people in Matero is correct. BUT that puts you in prime position to mobilise those numbers to PF’s battle to hold power.

  34. What is the out come of today’s court ruling over Scott’s acting as president?
Its difficult to get news yapa Zed mwe, fyose ni ndochi ukubeba……ba PF mwaonayula ichalo mwe…………!!

  35. Since when did Cabinet office become a party structure? The other day it was Govt Complex, now cabinet office housing Ministry of Defence, Home Affairs, Veep house which is the centre of Zambia’s security and operations. what is happenning?

  36. miles should not compare himself with the likes of Obama he should look at his CV .Obama is to big
believe me if Obama would be a PF presidential
    candidate he would be overqualified.

  37. At least Miles Sampa is way better than Lungu in terms of corruption and theft.

Lungu is a thief, he embezzled clients money. Lungu is also drunkard, and his looks are not helping him.

    • So one bad apple is better than the other rotten apple….this is what it has come to what a shame..this is what happens when their no credible leaders anything goes!!

  38. Lungu is really very dull. Why is he scared to go for a convention. If Sata did not practice democracy let it start now. Let them go for a convention. If we start anointing people in the political parties it will soon spread to the Government. If Lungu can ignore the party constitution can he really be trusted with the national constitution.
We already saw lies from that he just decided to hand over power to Guy when in fact the law does not allow him. Go go my miles. We need to stop these political parties from being Tuntemba and anointing each other. Let the popular man win at the convention.

  39. my analysis of the political situation in zambia is that only 2 political parties stand a real
chance of winning the presidential by-election, these are MMD and PF, the other parties do
not enjoy a national presence as can be seen by the numbers and the regions in which their
support comes from. Unfortunately for my friends in UPND the sad truth is that the party
is in serious need of re branding. I am sorry to say this because there are many supporters of
Hakainde Hichilema on this blog , However UPND members need to start questioning his
leadership of the party as he has failed to take the party beyond the boundaries of southern
province. Under Anderson Mazoka the party at least had some national presence, there was
support for the party in lusaka , in north western province,…

  40. Kelvin Sampa shameless buffoon. He sung KK campaign songs back in ’91, supported RB until he was barred from contesting at the convention, he was busy supporting Sata, now he has switched to Sampa. Did you know that Kelvin’s wife was Musa Mwenye’s moma at Unza! Kelvin failed chizungu in Grade 12 at Munali

  41. To Lungu my advice is don’t be like a hyena scrambling for other peoples left overs like your
brother Rupiah Banda did after Mwanawasa’s death, fight your own fight if you are really strong.
Look at Rupiah Banda, he just took advantage of someones death, when his time came he could
not win his own election, hence president for only 2 years. Chi nyama soya, very corrupt. Now you
want to scramble for Sata’s left overs, is it an eastern province way of doing things. Please do not shame your people. If you think you are popular go to the convention and get elected. Why are you
fearing the convention? why do you want to use the power of incumbency? Let the playing ground be level and fair for everyone. Please do the right thing and don’t bring a bad name to the people
    of your…

  42. Zambia is a country on a path to democracy. Lungu is a conman. He is using UNIP era tactics to work his way to the top.

  43. @bigben: Obama would not only be overqualified to be president of PF, he would also be overqualified to be president of a poor country like Zambia. How can such a high caliber person preside over the affairs of such dull and useless people like us. People who can suit well in Zambian politics are the likes of the drug mafias of South America. At least those can mix well with the cadres in Chibolya, Kuku, and the rest of the panga wielding nincompoops. I am now tempted to think that even Guy Scott is overqualified. He follows procedure/law to the letter. If it was a black Zambian in his position, he would have said “the people have spoken; who am I to stand in their way. Lungu is the sole candidate”. This blatant disregard of the law be it party law or national law is dangerous.

  44. Matero is not Zambia, but just a simple constituency of Zambia. So don’t shove it down our throats that sampa has delivered in Matero as though the whole country has benefited from the developments in Matero !!! Mulongoti was instrumental in the construction of one of the service roads in chalala and on that basis he wanted the whole country to know that he had done it and used it to gain political mileage but he never got anywhere…so fellow Zambians, don’t be cheated and don’t entertain dreamers but wait for the beautiful ones who are yet to be born…

  45. And look at those thugs surrounding him… and what’s up with the red beret? I knew this dude was campaigning with all those self-propaganda nonsense of cabs ‘future fund’ and Sata’s father national heritage.

Surely everyone in Pf now wants to be president… let them be presidents of their own party but Zambians please never allow them to be any closer to the national presidency, like never!

  46. what development, is talking about, many roads which were tarred in matero township were started by RB under formula one project, these roads include salima, passing shadreck , that road that passes at bigoca church, another road that passes at macoffin, matero market, all these roads were started by MMD,

The roads this chap is boasting about are dusty roads, which have been done shoddly, go to down kawama tanden area is all shoddy dusty roads

  47. I see some bloggers are abashing Miles while other are abashing Lungu. Can you bloggers come up with list if Zambians regardless of political affiliation who are capable of being President.

  48. Rumour has it that this guy likes to bonk women. If that is true then he shouldn’t even think of Running for that office. That office truly deserves sanity, a morally upright human being with wisdom and education. We can’t afford to place a nincompoop in that position. Mother Zambia please I berg you to vote wisely. For once Zambia should strive to elect a morally upright leader. We can do it, after all the power is in our hands.

  49. I have no personal knowledge of this Miles. But isn’t he associated with a murder? And also with harassment of church-going people IN THE CHURCH!!

All this may just be rumour, but its enough for him to fail the integrity test required of a leader (except in Zambia) – hell, we even saw pictures of the numerous women he allegedly beds.

Let him allay all these skeletons in his closet, and if exonerated, then aspire to higher things. Right now he thinks that a pretty face is enough.
Actually he looks rather silly in his campaign flyer to me.

  50. In what delusional bubble do you live Miles, comparing yourself to Obama?Seems you would like us to draw parallels between you, and the leader of the first world.

OK, I’ll indulge you – lets play.
Can we begin by comparing your personal life to Obama’s???….Sorry, Game over.

  51. Miles Sampa still smells of mother’s breast milk. Does he even know where to lodge his presidential papers. Cabinet office is not a PF office. Doesnt he know where the PF party office is that he has to take his papers to cabinet office? He submits the papers to Lungu and not Scott. If he thinks Lungu is compromised there’s Atanga at the Party secretariat. What an ammateur, this Sampa is. And to think, he wants to become a republican president. Indeed what did he smoke? If PF choose him, then HH will become president of Zambia in January.

  52. Confusion indeed. If Miles is being propped up by the cartel then he has lost it all. People now are able to see beyond the veil. Who is supposed to receive the nomination papers in PF? Hope no back door methods are used to the disadvantage of the citizens.

  53. ahahahahaha kekekekekiikikiki Sampa have you heard yourself speaking? sampa read, it was Dmitry Medvedev at 43 president of Russia, Obama at 47 USA president. Thomas Sankara at 37 Burkina Faso president. Your rationale of using age to justify does not apply. Leadership! you maybe 44 but very foolish.. remember you failed to read your own maiden speech.,..ta.ta.ta.ta… and since when did cabinet office become a pf secretariat? muletusebanya bafikamba, ba shinka manyela swaini! and those red berets do not bring you any close to Julius Malema/Che Guevara/ Hugo Chavez! very real leadership.

  54. here is my line up
    1. President: HH
    2. Vice: Mizinga Melu
    3. Treasurer Felix Mutati
    4. Finance Dambisa Moyo
    5. defence : Godfrey Miyanda
    6. Communications : Edith Nawakwi

    ……………………….You Guys …….Complete the rest….

  55. One doesn’t need to be a rocket scientist to know that Mmembe and the cartel are behind Miles Sampa’s candidacy. All you need to do is read the today Post’s today featuring Sampa with the headline – “Miles Sampa declares his candidacy – It’s our time” , punctuated by a very negative report on Lungu on page 6, entitled “Electing Lungu president would be a mistake”, and concluding with scathing critique of Lungu in the editorial “Who anointed who?”. To me that is enough ground to support Lungu.

  56. Let me make myself perfectly clear. Water ou-age is not only in Matero but also chelston, chilenje and other parts of Lusaka. This is why I want Sampa to come and address such issues. We need someone of our age like sampa to take up that office

    Chao.
