HH should stop his misleading campaigns
As MMD youths, we have not issued any public comments over the ongoing campaigns as we have spent the last few weeks busy in the field campaigning for our candidate and incoming President Dr Nevers Sekwila Mumba.
Our campaigns have taken us far and wide to all the corners of Zambia. We recently returned from North Western and Western Provinces where we discovered a very unfortunate situation.
Our investigations showed that UPND presidential candidate Hakainde Hichilema is engaged in a vicious and malicious series of misleading campaigns where he is telling the people that the MMD is not participating in this election as it is supporting the UPND.
He is going round telling people that MMD is now part of UPND and that Dr Mumba is not standing.
We spent many days and nights in these two provinces and we gathered evidence of these atrocious campaign activities by Mr Hichilema and the UPND team.
As MMD youths, we wish to draw the attention of the nation to these unfortunate and undemocratic tendencies by the UPND and its campaign team.
We denounce these practices and we appeal to well meaning electoral stakeholders and the general public to join us in condemning the UPND over these illegal campaign activities.
We will therefore be writing to the Electoral Commission of Zambia to formally complain over this form of illegal campaigning by the UPND.
Before then, we wish to warn Mr Hichilema and his campaign team to desist from provocative campaign messages. We urge him to conduct himself in a civil and dignified manner.
By poaching some disgruntled MPs from the MMD, Mr Hichilema should not deceive himself that he has managed to weaken the MMD popularity. These MPs he is busy enticing will not deliver any meaningful support to the UPND. Most of them are very unpopular and at best only carries single votes.
The amount of support Dr Mumba is receiving across the country is testament to the fact that the MMD is much stronger on the ground and better organised than any political party contesting this election.
The thunderous welcome Dr Mumba received from committed MMD members and the general public at Mongu airport over the weekend further goes to show that the MMD is still alive and kicking and has very good chances of scooping the January 20 poll.
Well meaning Zambians will find it easier to agree with me that from all the presidential candidates running in this election, Dr Mumba posses the best set of leadership qualities that Zambia urgently needs in State House.
As we draw close to January 20, we wish to reiterate our call for a campaign anchored on issues and policy options that will uplift the living standards of ordinary Zambians.

Desperate as HH is in this bye-election posing too many odds against his forth time poor landing, Nevers is a non entity with no better alibi whatsoever for his eminent devastating defeat at the hand of EL.
HH has done some fabulous work on the campaign trail though unfortunately with little success in winning hearts and minds sufficient to marshal and seal himself the Zambian republican Presidency. Nevers’s ego, tribalism of going to the extent of cooking up the song “Mu Bemba ngu satani” using Chitika is all a failed project. Its time to find a better alibi or exist strategy instead of blaming HH. Zambians are smart enough to realize that the Never candidacy is a wastage of valuable time and one’s energy. This election is for the Lungu Presidency period.
Everywhere is HH, even Bowsman is scared, just like Edgar Lungu.

Worse is that Chakwa Lungu is even failing to hold rallies. He wanted to go to Chilubi Island, he changed mind that he can’t swim.
Then in Northern Province, he insulted people by waiting without telling them. And he still hasn’t told people where the hell he went on Saturday.
@Natrodemus- DO deliberately ignore the facts. HH is not that popular. The numbers you are mentioning were only achieved by MMD in 1991. The Mpulungu crowd is amazing to say the least, I think that is the largest turnout thus far in this election campaign considering Lungu is not even Bemba! Look, why can’t you UPND guys consider that you are likely to lose Northern, Luapula, Eastern, Copperbelt, Lusaka and perhaps even Central? Be realistic, HH can win, it is a possibility, but it sure is an uphill journey for him!

Last night Nawakwi is on record on MUVI TV having admitted selling the mines when she was in MMD together with Sata. No wonder Sata was mute on this one because he understood that HH was engaged as a consultant whose could have been rubbished if MMD wished. Consultants charge consultancy fee which HH did and that is the money he invested. Blame your MMD Govt that included Sata and Nawakwi for accepting HH’s recommendations. How can you blame someone whom you say has never been in Govt? MMD sold Zambia Railways, ZANACO and Zamtel. They were about to sell ZESCO.
If there are people who rejoice at the suffering of the friends its those that dragged sata on a campaign trail and took him to open parliament. We told you that sata needed to rest and you told us that he is fit and working…

That is your assumption. HH has not been accepted countrywide. HH went to Mpulungu, Edgar Lungu went to Mpulungu. Please compare the crowds.
HH polled 506,000 in the previous election, the PF polled more than twice (2x) that. I do not think the PF has lost half of its support. DO not mix your enthusiasm with facts, fact of the matter is that HH has got more work to do than Edgar Lungu has to win this election. But I will state- It is possible for him to win if the turnout of voters is low (ie less than 1,000,000)

Lusambo, you truly need some lessons in image building. All you need is to paint a picture that all is well within MMD and Nevers is the man of the moment. This should be done without linking him to any other party or person. Am voting hh because I believe in quality leadership. Whether my candidate loses or wins,my vote is for the best and Zambians deserve the best.
