
Mukuka Mulenga leads the list of three new faces in Zambia’s 2013 Africa cup provisional team unveiled today.
The 19-year-old Power Dynamos playmaker has been drafted into the 26-member team together with Red Arrows midfielder Shadreck Malambo and Zanaco defender Salulani Phiri.
However, missing from the team is 20-year-old Nkana striker Evans Kangwa following a poor 2012 a year after scoring 16 goals in all competition in the 2011 season.
Also left out of the team is TP Mazembe striker Given Singuluma who failed to turn up for the Tanzania friendly.
Power goalkeeper Joshua Titima has made the team ahead of Daniel Munayu who was in goal on Saturday in Zambia’s 1-0 away loss to Tanzania.
Meanwhile, Collins Mbesuma and Jacob Mulenga are part of the team that heads to Johannesburg on December 26 for the final phase of training camp.
The team will be cut to the final 24 in mid-January.
