Midfielder Rainford Kalaba will play for Zambia in their friendly international against 2010 World Cup finalists North Korea tomorrow at Nkoloma Stadium in Lusaka.
Kalaba of Portuguese side União de Leiria joined the team in camp in Lusaka yesterday.
The playmaker will be the second European-based player available for Zambia’s debut international meeting against North Korea.
Defender Emmanuel Mbola of Pyunik Yerevan in Armenia is the other player while two South African-based players have also joined the Zambia camp to also give the friendly match some credibility.
Goalkeeer Kalililo Kakonje, defender Kampamba Chintu of Amazulu in South Africa including strikers Given Singuluma from TP Mazembe in DR Congo and James Chamanga from Dalian Haichang in China are already in camp.
Meanwhile, North Korea have an almost full squad but will be without their four European and Asian-based players.
Prominent on the missing list of North Korea’s foreign-based quartet will be captain and key striker Young-Jun of Russian club Rostov and their Japanese-born midfielder Ahn Young-Hak from Suwon Samsung Bluewings in South Korea.
