The Post drove the late President to his grave,Kaingu

Share

Tourism and Natural Resources Minister, Michael Kaingu, has advised the electorate in Southern province not to be swayed by continued negative reports by a named daily tabloid newspaper against Acting republican President, Rupiah Banda.

Mr Kaingu said the negative reports on Mr Banda have not come by surprise because the privately owned tabloid newspaper mounted a similar negative campaign against late President Levy Mwanawasa in 2001.

He recalled that the malicious campaign by the named newspaper was then intended to give a wrong impression that late Dr Mwanawasa was not liked by Zambians when in fact not.

Speaking in Choma today when he addressed provincial and district heads of government departments in the council chambers, Mr Kaingu said the newspaper has unfortunately launched a similar malicious campaign against Mr Banda.

“The Post Newspaper drove the late president to his grave,” he said.

He advised civil servants in the province to remain focused on implementing government policies and programmes as they were the engine of national development.

Mr Kaingu said government accords a lot respect to civil servants because they were the implementers of policies and programmes.

He, however, advised civil servants to vote wisely in the October 30, presidential elections so that there is continuity in the current policies being pursued by the MMD government.

Mr Kaingu reminded the public workers that the darkest hour for Zambia would be when people would elect opposition leaders, who lack the capacity to manage the affairs of the nation.

  1. Yes Mr. Kaingu we shall vote wisely as u have stated, but definatly not for MMD, you guys are just too corrupted.

  2. Those fearing the post should do the right thing when they aspire and later on get into politicl life because the papaer and the people will dig deeper.

You are beta off doing somehting else than to aspire for public service because you open up for scrutiny.period. The post never drove LPm to his grave, Kaingu and MMD drove him there themselves. Infact MMD stop taking about LPM’s demise, MMD plunderes caused it to regain power.

  3. Yaba! whats wrong with these pipo with limited education? what on earth is this accusation? is he trying to say that The Post is campaigning to stand for elections? The Post attacks everyone, the ruling party and the opposition likewise. so this man wants The Post to be reporting like Daily Mail or Times of Zambia? these are the very pipo who bring the nation backwards. the political leaders should be checked. i have some stuff against The Post as they are not perfect but saying that the Post took beloved LPM to the grave is lack of initiative and a sign that someone is trading in the wrong zones, in other words doesn’t fit to be in his position.

  4. Kaingu should be saying that to State & Government owned and MMD party controlled ZNBC, Times, ZANIS and Daily Mail whose editors are MMD bootlickers. I cant believe ba LT can bring such nonsense here.

    Masheke.

  5. I am a civil servant and I know what am going through. I will definately vote wisely but not for you mmd. You are just greedy, selfish people. May God judge you! Pabwatoooooooooooooooooooo

  6. We shall surely vote wisely Mr Kaingu. Thanks to the post for the revelation of issues happening in the Government house. The donations made there where not covered by other medias especially the state owned. Those issues affect the general populacy.
Membe and the team cary on.

  7. Kaingu we are tired of your nonsense. How do you say such thing when addressing government heads of departments? That was not a gatherig of MMD cadres! You need to go back to school!

  8. I think thats a stupid comment to make that the post drove LM to the grave, no wonder the post keeps targeting MMD MPs because they dont think when they talking in public emotion and stupidity is always on their tongues. They fear the post might become too powerful and thats true, just like the SUN in england sways with the mood of the people and manipulates but people are smarter than. Zambians should be able to tell the difference use logic not emotion. VIVA free speech.

  9. Shameful to see how the instinct to survive in the current position has overshadowed Mr Kaingu’s thinking! How did the Post drive LM to grave? How qualified is he to say that? Are we missing something that only circulates in MMD circles regarding the death of a former President? And, aahh, Respect for Civil Servants: well MMD has a cruel way of showing this, havent they? Why should things cotinue to revolve roud the same people? Change is necessary – and we need a President that can drive the entire country to higher heights developmenal-wise and encourage them to be hard working!! Viva PF!!

  10. Who has been to Kozo Lodge on the Livingstone Highway? the food is expensive and useless, and never fresh.when i come into power in 2016 i will move that lodge to Mize

  11. wat r u talking HH is the man.u just protecting yo job Mr minister.deep down yo heart u Rb is not the rite man to lead this greaty nation.ggggggggggoooooooo MR incoming President behind u HHHH viva

  12. I didn’t know Kaingo was such a useless creature, how could he honestly accuse the Post to have driven Mwanawasa to his Grave? who didn’t know that Mwanawasa was sick? That guy (Mwanawasa)had been sick before he even became president.

So MMD shouldn’t involve the Post in such baseless issues.

MMD in Trouble. If anything, I totally agree with Post News paper’s publications on Rupiah. Rupiah has a lot of Disadvantages to the Country. He is Actually irrelevent

    VIVA VIVA HHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

  13. Kaingu just shut up. The POST is revealing the truths day by day. MMD kuya bebele…..Tell those idots at ZNBC, TIMES, DAILY MAIL, to report on opposition parties as well. Nja ya mutu wena…..

  14. Iwe chi Kaingu osanama, who did not escort levy to the grave, almost all ministers were there except us zedian pipo who were not invited except watching on tv. 16. Liar! Its not lyk The Post made it look like alot of pipo didnt like Mwanawasa. Check the 2001 & 2006 elections results, you will see that alot of pipo didnt want want him. Too bad that he was loved after he died. The person that sent him to the grave is MAUREENHO!

  17. Iwe ka #25 stop using text stuff on here. You are on the net for crying out loud. Geeeeeeee! You are not in Zed. I bet where you are you can be on the net fr 24hrs so why text?

  18. When I read the Post, i dont read it to get information from M’membe’s below par manar of reporting.
I read his paper just to check if there is any sign that there is any improvement in his psycology. That is all.
And I dont buy the paper, unless i am looking for some ad in the sangwapo section. Because, how can I buy M’membe’s mind at K3,000 and start reading.

  19. Thats true #25, Kaigu should have blamed Maureen for Signing Mwanawasa’s Penalt. She was tired of waiting and crying in France + missing home, thats why she decided to cut the Husband’s life by signing for his death.

Secondly, she was afraid of Shikafuswa that back home, he might start stealing missusing the first couple’s wealth.

    hahahahahaha

  20. Kaingu napena, which post drove his excellence to his grave??? VIVA Post newspaper, we are well informed….ukutumpa ka kaingu… Last kick of a dieing horse….HA!HA!HA! Sivinthu!!!PABWAAATOOO>>>>

  21. How do you trust M’membe who goes to grab Chipo from a husband who is sick with cancer and he goes with her feeling very successful.
This is the man who tells you stories which you are ready to pay for at K3,000.
He referes to the Bible to justify these stories about other people and yet when he was taking Chipo from a cancer patient he forgot to refer to the Bible.
We must remember that the devil also used the Bible to attempt Jesus.

  22. Ba Kaingu, Be careful what you discuss in meetings. That is shallow thinking!! We cant wait for people like you to GET OUT of office and Stay for ever at Kozo Lodge!!! and tell your brother to support the children he has been having outside marriage and has neglected!!

  23. so many people are trying to post their comments at the same time as you. please hit the back button on your browser and try again.

  24. Alabane umubanfu ubi… Kaingu chaba mune uleke…his excellence died from kudwala not because of the post…VIVA freedom of expression…PABWATOOOO>>>>

JOIN A PARTY THAT GIVES REAL CHANCE OF PARTICIPATING AT TOP LEADERSHIP A PARTY THAT HAS PROVEN LEADERSHIP CHANGE STRUCTURES AND THAT PARTY IS MMD. DONT FOLLOW THOSE DICTATORS BLINDLY THEY WILL ALWAYS BE IN THE OPPOSITION DRUNK WITH INSULTS UNLESS THATS WHAT YOU WANT.

  27. please ba Kaingu those Civil Servants really knows what real suffering is all about, what it means to be broke a day after your paycheck arrives, what concentration are you talking about??? being brain washed?!!pls be careful and let people vote for, MICHEAL CHILUFYA SATA!!!PABWAAAAATOOOO>>>>

  28. #70. OK!
I agree with you. Sata is a friend of Mugabe and we will make sure he does not get the vote.
Dictators are a problem, i they do is focussed on themselves and those who pay loyalty to them.
We dont want someone who would make mugabe the guest of honour at his inaugural celemony and chase all our corporating partners so that we just remain with Taiwan and Zimbabwe, and form an international community of three countries, honestly?

  29. iwe #26 Kabiki, am in Zed, its just ba LT giving me a different flag. And you, you seem lost in UK.

Contribute not just shooting at me. I will shoot you with a tradition gun(kalabina)

  30. MR KAINGU SIR, I RESPECT U BUT YOU SHOULD THINK AND FACE REALITY B 4 ISSUING YOUR USELESS STATEMENTS.PLS RE-VISIT YOUR SCOPE. # 40,U MAD.

  32. Late one night in Lusaka a mugger jumped on a well-dressed man and held a gun to his ribs.

“Give me your money!” he demanded. The man stiffened, but said indignantly, “You can’t do this to me — I’m a minister of tourism (Kaingu)!”

“In that case,” replied the robber, “give me my money!”

  33. #38 NTAMBU 1,
Which journalists? Journalists have journalism profession, have you seen any journalism at the Post.
He has employed wrong people who just ask him the question, “So boss, what are your thoughts today?” He tells them and they start writing and they take for printing. You want to such, journalists?

  34. M’membe has no sign of being chief editor, it is you people who call him chief editor who make him the blunder that he has become.
He used to make blunders in the past but now he is the blunder himself.
What does M’membe edit, the minds of simple minded Zambians?

  35. Just another fool this Kaingo. Doesn’t he know that civil servants are on slave wages to make matters worse this mmd RB led government last month overdeducted housing allowances which were overpaid.Zwa MMD

  36. #42 I think you are on DRUGS like your under5 presdo, you on no. 42 and yet referring to #70 which number this topic has not yet reach. DILUTE YOUR THE DRUG (CHAMBA) YOU SMOKE WITH KAPONDA! BWANA!

  37. Thanks #49 Osama Bin Zed let me work on it i follow your work closely…worry not i will unleash my own sooon…Kaingu lost forver and as usual…Ifwe nipa BWAAAATOOOOO>>>>

  38. the post shud not be funny by trying to campaign against bwezani otherwise he is going through whethrer they like it or not and you supporters of the post your minds are so shallow

  39. You are the same chaps that were insulting the Post/Meembe when they stopped dealing with Sata. The things you said about Meembe, my God!!! Do you guys hear your voices when you talk? Or maybe you don’t have a sense of memory. In articles before this, Post was evil and bad because it was anti MMD. Now that it is pro-Sata, it has suddenly become god-send (small g intended). You are fooling yourselves, the same Post will turn around and become ruthless against PF after Sata changes his mind over them. A thing which will surely happen very soon. You are just showing hatred to everything MMD and not making any sense at all. Viva RB, for now. Viva General Miyanda, later

  40. the post is not worth reading now it full with m’membe’s tantrums it hardly makes any sense especially of late.

  41. Hey people, sorry to ask an off question. Any news on the where abouts of Chishimba (the guy that also stopped MS form filing in his nomination? Please forgive me, I happen to have not followed the issue very well.

  42. kaingu is one of those who are seeking a place in RBs heart and Govt should S-daddy be in Plot 1. i wonder is MMD has a protocal to follow of these pipo just open theirs mouths. Shut up BA Kaingu. let leave Sc to rest. focus on your job hunting.

  43. #51. Anonymous,
You can’t see properly or you can’t think properly, call M’mwembe to edit it for you or to edit your mind.
You call the post to come and edit your mind, you might have double vision.
If you see a mistake, all you think of is diluting chamba; do you work for m’membe or he is you mind editor?
You even say “I think…”, does that look like it came from someone who was thinking? someone who whenever they cant understand something they think of diluting chama?
    Your problem is advanced!

  44. iwe kaingu, why cant you advise maureen and her family to sue the post if they aer the ones that killed levy. leave the post at least we know what the RB camp is up to and for sure we will vote wisely.

  45. pipo lets not be swayed hitherto by politicians especially those who come in the form of Kaingu…NIPABWATOOOO>>>>

  46. #55 – I agree with you. Even the stories have reduced in number and are replaced with adverts. The Post has now become so biased against RB making the Times of Zambia look like a reaonable paper. Please someone provide us with balanced news. We don’t want pro-MMD neither do we want anti-MMD. Just give us news, please. The Post used to fill this space some time ago now it has become completely useless – either it is nauseatingly supporting Magande (like me) or Sata (like someone else). Either way, Viva RB for now, Viva Miyanda, later.

  47. bakanba nibonse fye, naibipa lelo can’t wait to get home… watch my space though,#58…PABWAAATOOO>>>>

  48. NOW WE CAN CLEARLY SEE THAT THE MMD IS VERY DESPERATE,THEY REALLY HAVE RUN OUT OF IDEAS.THEY DID NOT EXPECT THIS PRESSURE(CAUSE OF LPM’S DEATH).IMAGINE,THESE MINISTERS ARE MORE PHYSICALLY FIT THAN THE WAY BA ZEBBIGE WAS AND YET THEY ARE ALREADY BREAKING DOWN-EMOTIONALLY,MENTALLY,ECONOMICALLY AND PSYCHOLOGICALLY. SO HOW DID THEY EXPECT BA LEVY TO SURVIVE WHEN HE HAD TO PRESIDE OVER DUNDERHEADS AND NUMBSKULLS LIKE THEM?LETS PUT THE BLAME SQUARELY WHERE IT BELONGS,THEY KILLED MWANAWASA-THATS WHY THEY ARE HAUNTED BY HIS GHOST.BALESABAILA FYE NOMBA.

  49. #62 Bwana admit that you have a problem of chamba smoking and cant control yourself so that experts here on the blog can help you, cant you see that there something wrong with comments in #42.

  50. These Kaingu mmd chaps are the ones going round telling people that OUR SATA has been flown to South Africa because he has fallen ill… Mwapya… u so scared of the man. POST! finish them like you did ka FTJ, If it wasnt for the POST, that short useless thing could have continued plundering our money. We say NO to the BROWN ENVELOPES and NO to RB and his stooges. saki, ftj, mulongoti, kaingu, mumba*2, vj, katele etc.

    PABWAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAATTTTTTTTTTTTOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

  51. did you honestly want Kaingu to keep quiet there? he had to say something otherwise ba bloger you d have said he’s dull. Its a pity it came out useless. Ba post just continue telling us everything about these pipo so we make good choices. Dint vote as i was 17.5 yrs old but mum is relying on my advice

  52. No Kaingu you are wrong. It is you dull and thoughtless ministers who drove LPM to an early grave…..the man had to literaly think for the whole lot of you so-called Cabinet Ministers…..

  53. M’membe and the Post have lost objectivity completely.
They have removed psycology from their work culture, and they dont even mind puting their reputation at risk.
They have done or would want to do somethings that they think RB will be a hinderance.
They are ready for anyone else including SATA who they have never ever wanted to rule this country, but they are ready to take the risk just to avoid Banda. And when advising Chiluba, SATA calls RB “more vicious than LPM”, what does he mean? Does he mean RB is tougher on corruption than LPM? Well that is the one we want for this country.
The post says they want to bring truth because he wants high office, well how about the others, HH&SATA?

  54. “Patriotic Front cadres Petrol Bombs Chishimbas”

Patriotic Front cadres have allegedly burnt a fence belonging to Kasama Central Member of Parliament, Savior Chishimba’s parents in Lusaka’s George Compound Savior’s Father, Emmanuel Chishimba has reported to police that the cadres burnt the fence to ashes using petrol and dismantled iron sheets of the fence last night.Mr. Chishimba appealed to the Patriotic Front leadership not to engage the family into politics. He challenged the Party leadership to show maturity in its campaigns in the run-up to the polls.

  55. Sata and his thugs’ Chawama debacles of macheting people with pangas, arsonists on petrol bombing homes and striping women are back this time under PF stamp. They are just short of the ZK 2 billion for Kadoli’s legion and a ZAF chopper to move the money from BOZ to some Genocide centers. The good news is that this madness is for the campaign season only. A minute after ballots are closed, no nonsense will find space. There is more than enough capacity in reserve mode to restore order instantly.

  57. Two women friends had gone out for a Girls Night Out, and had been decidedly over-enthusiastic on the cocktails. Incredibly drunk and walking home they suddenly realized they both needed to pee. They were very near a graveyard and one of them suggested they do their business behind a headstone or something. The first woman had nothing to wipe with so she took off her panties, used them and threw them away. Her friend however was wearing an expensive underwear set and didn’t want to ruin hers, but was lucky enough to salvage a large ribbon from a wreath that was on a grave and proceeded to wipe herself with it. After finishing, they made their way home.

The next day the first woman’s husband

  58. The Post if offering the other side of news unlike govt newspapers that are just worshing who ever is in leadership. The Post should continue providing this watchdog role. Viva Post!

  59. The next day the first woman’s husband phones the other husband and said, “These damn girls nights out have got to stop. My wife came home last night without her panties.” “That’s nothing,” said the other. “Mine came back with a sympathy card stuck between the cheeks of her butt that said, ‘From all of us at the Fire Station, Well never forget you!’

  60. Love them or hate them, the Post still remain the most effective opposition we have….look at Nevers, Sakwiba, BY and all those misguided youths willing to sell their souls to the ruling party…they maintain sanity in their own confused way, so I dare I say long live the Post

  61. I DON’T SEE THE PROBLEM WITH TELLING THE TRUTH AND SHOWING THE POEPLE WHO IS WHO.THE SPEAKES NOT TO PLEASE ANY ONE BUT TO JUSTIFY THE TRUTH ON THE OTHER SIDE MEMBE SHOULD MIND THE LANGUEGE HE USES BECOUSE NO MATTER WHAT KIND OF A CRIMINAL SHOULD BE RESPECTED AND BE VIEWED AS A HUMAN BEING.THE POST CONTINUE TELLING THE TRUTH AND NEVER TAKE PART IN INSULTING THE PEOPLE INCLUDING BA KAWALALA.GO POST PABWATO 4 EVER.

  62. Two life-long friends were enjoying a few pints down at the local bar, when one said to the other:

“If I ask you a question, will you promise to answer me honestly?”

“Yeah, sure thing,” replied his friend, “fire away.”

“Well,” said the first guy, “why do you think all the guys around here find my wife so attractive?”

“It’s probably because of her speech impediment,” replied the second guy.

“What do you mean her speech impediment?” inquired the first fellow.

“My wife doesn’t have a speech impediment!”

“Well,” replied his friend, “you must be the only guy who hasn’t noticed that she can’t say ‘NO’!”
    true about Lady MIKE MULONGOTI!!!!NIPABWATOOOO>>>>

  63. One thing we need to appreciate about the Post Newspaper is their alertness, their digging deeper, their calling a spade a spade and not a big spoon. They actually helped in making the late Dr LPM (may his soul rest in peace)what he became ( a hero). Saying that The Post Newspaper drove the late president to his grave is not just malicious but immoral and dangerous.

  64. pipo who talk about znbc when they showing same pipo on news time no 1, but you will talk about the post news paper.sham on you kaingu.

  65. Three men, a doctor, a lawyer, and a biker were sitting in a bar talking over a few drinks.

After a sip of his Castle, the doctor said, “You know, tomorrow is my anniversary. I bought my wife a diamond ring and a new Mercedes. I figure if she doesn’t like the diamond ring, then at least she will like the Mercedes, and she will know that I love her.”

After finishing his Windhoek, the lawyer said, “Well, on my last anniversary, I bought my wife a string of pearls and a trip to the Siavonga. I figured if she didn’t like the pearls, then at least she would have enjoyed the trip, and she would have known that I loved her.”

The biker then took a big swig from his beer, and said, “Yeah, well for

  66. The biker then took a big swig from his beer, and said, “Yeah, well for my anniversary, I got my old lady a t-shirt and a vibrator. I figured if she didn’t like the t-shirt, then she could go f*** herself.”

  67. No one is against truth, but force stories.
You cant be lying and defaming only one candidate and claim because he is aspiring a high position.
Why not talk about others who are equally aspiring that same position?
They are selective in what they report, and simple minds in the public just believe anything and have no capacity to analyse.
M’membe has edited so many simple minds. And it is sad to hear some people say they see nothing wrong with the post.
When the post started championing “prefered candidate” stories, you tell me you saw no threat to our democracy? An independent paper that should be championing democratic principles was fighting for monarchy and you see nothing wrong?

  68. I agree with No.79.
Be weary of the post. For them its a matter of survival at all cost even if they lose their integrity. They are like prositutes.

Zambian Airways in which Mmember is the one of the directors owes NACL a lot of money. Bwezani has not promised them anything yet.
Bwezani will definately win, they he defeated the post candidate Magande in the MMD election. I dont support RB but the negativity of the Post has propmted me to do so. It seems there is substance in RB. They did not support Manawasa in 2006 I remember!!

    Viva RB

  69. Number 99, hahaha! Nice move to redirect the minds of fellow bloggers.

Viva press freedom! The post must continue with their good work, afterall, they did not tell any lies. They delivered the truth and the truth hurts, per say.

  70. Ba MMD its the people who will vote not the Post.It seems MMD are having problems to sell RB.MMD campaign team has been making blunders after blunders.Instead of selling their candidate they resorted to corruption. The post is a messenger and they are delivering.RB supporters have realised that Sata and HH are gaining ground.I didnt like Sata but am beginning to like him.I am a registered voter who will vote wisely.

  71. Nigga you gotta squeeky clean to mess with the post…BIG UP TO FRED MMEMBE FOR THE GALANT WORK.
    WE GOT YOUR BACK

  72. I never knew that the post had a “Manda manda” to drive someone to his grave.
As for Kaingu’s government respecting their civil servants, how preposterous!!! Why then should you give then wages of sin for salaries? and they can only survive to the next wage of sin through corruption.
Even if you are politicians, mulelanda ko ifya mano.

  73. I am going to donate my September salary to the Rupiya Banda campaign team,I will also ask other empoloyees of the firm I am working for to do the same.I am practical.Viva RB

  74. Levy was a victim of natural selection period. The truth shall prevail. RB is making a mistake and will be badly bruised.

  75. We know that RB will win.
Have you ever see any party win elections in Zambia by sharing votes along the line of rail?
How can SATA or HH win when they are both gaining ground?
Zambia is not made up of kaponyas in town, some people need some revisional social studies.
Zambia is largely a village, if you did not know!

  76. Do you understand the secret of journalism? Every paper strives for survival. You the readers prefer bad news to good news. You may agree with me that, bad news is more exciting than good news. these days its about survival and not ethics. How many of you can buy a paper whose headline reads RB to whoo more investors or Cold reception greets RB in Kanyama? tell me

  77. THE POST NEED THE SUPPORT OF ALL RIGHT THINKING PEOPLE. THEY ARE NOT ALWAYS RIGHT BUT THEY DO TRY TO BE HONEST IN THEIR DEALINGS.

  78. Who would disagree with Kaingu?
Unfortunately the “Yellow Journalism” being exhibited by The Post is a shame and disgrace especially to us who are in the journalism world and school. what they are doing now is digging their own grave deeper so that the day they go under, they should never rise again. its a shame!!! little wonder more and more people are UNSUBSCRIBING AND STOPPED READING THE CRAP THEY CALL EDITORIALS.
Its time somebody took Fred, Malupenga and their minions to journalism school. can somebody start a real newspaper?!

  79. #114.Black Man maybe u can start one yourself..No human can stop the post they are out of this world son. Never lost a case ..May God give fred a long life

  80. Rupiya get ready, more money coming ,here am fundraising for your campaign, please use the money the way you would see fit.I will donate with no attached conditions.

  81. for real the truth hurts thats why there is panic with those caught nappin…IlikoLiko Mummy…hooo!!!SIVUNTHU!!!PABWAAATOOOO>>>>>

  82. another topic pleas, am kinda tired of this one and its slow, pipo nichani kulibe other things we can talk about, before i go to my Granny’s funeral…truthfully i have lost my Grandma today….however, Pabwaaaaaaaaaaaaaatoooooooooooooooooooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  83. Clearly “Pimp Named Slickback” you are either uneducated about our noble profession called Journalism or are just burying your head in the sand and refusing to see what even the blind can visualise from simple descritpion.
We are not talking about just a case. Look at the Yellow Journalism and failure by Fred, Amos and their minions at The Post to practice what we learn in journalism school. We want the truth, accuracy, balance, fair comment and criticism which is based on fact and totally unbiased.
anyway, either the media control and regulate themselves or even some of us journalists will stop this media campaign and side with the state wish to regulate the sector

  84. thanks Dee but Ulimbe boyi otherwuse ilikoliko!!!mwadya mweka maningi fellas its time for us, who really want to work… YABA, NIPA BWAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAATOOOOOOOOOOOO FYE>>>>

  85. Just campaign instead of attacking the Post……and keep on pleasing your bosses. That’s how you stick to your jobs.

  86. My Condolences Spectator May Her Soul Rest Near Jesus, please dnt forget to vote for me 2016.
One very impotant issue we are not debating Pirates from Somalia.
Dnt you think these guys are getting the ransom and coming to Zambia buying new trucks? Go to Ndeke in Ndola and see for yourselves, i have said it wnt say it again.

  87. #119, I agree with you totally. There is a limit to everything but these ones have gone too far, far too far!!!

  88. #123 Maps-SA, nobody is attacking The Post. the truth stays as it is. there is no journalism at that paper; if you or anybody insists it exists as YELLOW JOURNALISM – a shame to the profession and mind you there are many of us who have recently left The Post and we used to tell our colleagues of the need to stick to professionalism, not what we see today. journalism prides itself on truth, fairness and balance among others but that is not there today solely because Fred and Amos and their minions know that their man Magande is not there to save ailing Zambian Airways from collapse. and dont be cheated, Zambia is not Lusaka, it is nearly 80% rural and Sata has no foothold there!

  89. Kaingu has a short memory. The Post was one of the most supportive papers to Levy and his crisade against Corruption. At one point we were wondering what had gone wrong with their reporting on Levy. Remember how they hammered Anderson Mazoka in 2001, and Sata and HH in 2006.

  90. #127 Iwe ka Blackie. Can you ask your sugar daddy to do something about this stupid load shedding please? I am surprised you are still here when my mother has just told me there is no power. May be Bill Gates has introduced tu laptop twamabwe. Fumapa kwindi iwe.

    Viva Sata.

  91. I think the MMD made a grave mistake to appoint RB as there candidate. It’s no wounder they have such stupid ministers who at the same time preaches about freedom of speech but when that turns against them, then the paper is biased.Grow up and do your job and by the way am not a fan of the post news paper but this time it’s more viable to get every info……,we need as we scrutinise these individuals.

  92. Faggot, gay homo, quear. Fred M’membe was caught in the act of sodomy, and that’s putting it lightly. How can you listen to or care about what a faggot has to say?

  93. Thats True # 130. These chaps made a grave mistake for appointing this corrupt Rupiah Banda, anywa, what do you expect in a situation where Katele Kalumba is in the forefront?

Meaning they are all Plunderers and corrupt. Believe me, after chi Banda wins, Katele will be Finance Minister

    MMD are simply fools

  94. kaingo has hit the nail on the head. Have you seen todays post editorial.. m’membe is afraid. Post going down. The hour has come.

  95. 121. Black Man nigga am journalist myself what can u tell about journalism. aint nothing like neutralism in the media. Everybody got interests to protect.

  96. Kaingu lets put things into perspective and stop talking nonsense. LPM died coz he wasn’t looking after his health properly. He was a fat, slobby man under pressure from his promiscuous, power hungry, controlling wife, period!!

  97. People should be tired by now by Mmembe’s way of doing business. He thrives on controversy. He could be sick actually. Has anyone examined his head lately? The guy could be a lunatic on the loose and how worse can that be if a lunatic is even given a newpaper to run! Insults, thats how. During Kaunda’s era, Chiluba was a darling of his. All that was meant to sell his newspaper. Then Chiluba became a villain , again the target was to sell the papers. Then Levy became the Post’s target. Business. Now that Mmembe is broke because of his poor investment in Zambian Airways, he is taking it on RB. He wants to put fear in RB just like he did with Levy. Please put this man in the gallows.

  98. all i can say is let the great levy patrick mwanawasa rest in peace. do not begin to politicise his name just because you feel the source of information in the country should not be afforded their freedon of speech. we are in a democracy so if a tabloid newspaper feels the public has a right to know a certain piece of information and it is true they have every right to publish. so dont try to maskaraid they whole point or reason for you bringing his untimely death into play in your political arguements mr kaingu.

  99. Micheal Kaingu is a nut case – this is no joke. Remember Swift Auctioneers and MK Investments? This chap was the proprietor. He lamentably failed to run his businesses and sold them off to buy a farm in Choma. He equilly failed in the farming area and he sold half of his farm to build Kozo lodge (of course he also borrowed K2 billion for the same purpose). Kozo lodge is crumbling and believe me this man will be in disray once he’s out of power – mark my words. He’s a fool not to be taken seriously. Those who know this chap will attest to this.

  100. Dig them deeper, voice of the voiceless, reveal all the secrets.Hope to see them at high court soon or later.Corrupt leaders.

  101. Maestro Hhehhehhehhe - LABELLED as a TRIBALIST BY a group of BEMBA-TRIBALISTS (mainly UNDEREDUCATED or Kaponyas) who are small DISTINCT group from the ORIGINAL NORMAL REAL BEMBA PEOPLE of Zambia, just because I am born Tonga and succesful Maestro Hhehhehhehhe - LABELLED as a TRIBALIST BY a group of BEMBA-TRIBALISTS (mainly UNDEREDUCATED or Kaponyas) who are small DISTINCT group from the ORIGINAL NORMAL REAL BEMBA PEOPLE of Zambia, just because I am born Tonga and succesful

I like your momentum Sir HH. Tell them and do the needful for Zambia. I went on hibernation for 3 dyas to attend to industrial needs, but now I am back.
UPND’s HH supporters, we have only 29 days to go.
Zambians, vote for HH for a real ray of change and hope that all Zambians can believe and trust in.
“Ngoyu genteremani, HH, ngoyu genteremani, HH, ngoyu genteremani wacinicini, HH.”

  102. Politics of our great zambia centres and drives our economy in one direction or other. unfortunately we are still young and are trying to use politics to promote our tribes. shame on us. Developement will wait untill we realise.

In Bemba, they say “baaya sana.” Indeed these Bemba-Tribalists baaya sana (have gone too much – in literal translation).
    To the Zambian people:
Ngoyu genteremani, HH (Here is the gentleman, HH)
Ngoyu genteremani, HH (Here is the gentleman, HH)
Ngooyu genteremani wacinicini, HH. (Here is the gentleman who is real, HH)
    by Shatel-remix.
Vote for the UPND’s HH for a real ray of change and hope that all Zambians can believe and trust in.

  104. I thought it was a stroke that ended the life of our dear president… just to find out its the post!!! Jail them and then press charges (zambian-style justice)

#150, I thought so too (stroke), but it appears some politicians are still in the days pf denial when clean evidence is in front of their eyes.
This BEHAVIOUR by Minister Kaingu is synonymous to some close alive relative of a dead family member who knows that his relative died of HIV/AIDS, but insists that the relative was bewitched. In so doing, he (alive member) statrs yo advocate for his family to go to some witchfinder to found out the so-called true exact cause of the death of the family member who died.
Minister Kaingu, this is time for Zambia to MOVE on. Forget about those who have died and concentrate on seeing to it how you will sustain lives of the living.

  106. Iwe kaingu osha shinga bantu ma butter ppl have mo worries than what you ve of losing the job once mmd is no longer in power ba mudala bafwile na shock to discover Darlington mwape ali ku egypt elyo abakashi babapela ovverdose yamuti wamutima ine nine nurse so when they rushed him to france he was already a vegetable jst the heartbeatso that she can be a rich widow like most lusaka women thats why she had to come back to zambia kwisa mukufisa ama documents ayali important which only the husband knew then went back 2 days later and asked them to remove the life support machine so stop boring us with that stare news okey

  107. In what capacity did Kaingu call for that meeting of Heads of government and what was tghe meeting about? Was it to influence civil servants to vote for Rupiah? Anti-Rigging, please look into this

  108. The stupidity that characterises utterences attributed to MMD fools is sickening indeed. One also wonders what is wrong with chiefs (or is it chieves now) from Southern Province, are they drunk on cibwantu or what? They all seem to behave like Munkombwe and his nephew Vernon Johnson Mwansa, totally out of tune with reality on the ground. I will not vote for HH because I think he is a stinking thief and tribalist but for ‘chieves’ there to rally behind Rupiah is silly because we all know HH is carry the day there hands down come October 30.

  109. Fred Mmembe has clearly lost his objectivity! His main fear is that RB may not support his ailing airline but surely that’s not the way to go?!

  110. Mmembe has his head so far up his a$$, that he now believes he controls public opinion in the plam of his hands! He thought he’d make Magande win using his bogus propaganda but that failed miserably! This is the same ba$tard that used to insult LPM morning, noon & night but today they want to pour praises over him?! Fred Mmembe, your downfall will be a very hard & harsh one…

  111. #15, Those were not Superdelegates but stinking Tonga tribalists who destroyed the chance of a Tonga ruling this country during our life time. See, how come these so called Super Delegates of yours failed to reign in your stupid poligamous ‘chieve’ from lining themselves up alongside VJ and Mukombwe in support of Rupiah in exchange for alms leaving your so called Tonga blue eyed boy HH in limbo? No wonder you remain the only Zambians known to nail anything female be it cow, chicken, donkey, nieces, even in-laws. You really suck big time you crazy fools.

  112. I thot LPM was involved in a fatal road accident, had high BP, was diabetic, and suffered two strokes. These are what i bet sent levy to the grave. Now can some one in Zambia please sue this chap for his foul mouth.

  113. I beg to differ that the post is the best paper, they are more like tabloids and sensationalize their stories to sell. Its abit harsh to say they drove late LPM (God rest his soul) to his grave, but people are tired of their “people magazine” kind of reporting. Mmembe needs competition he has monopolized for too long.

  114. The Post is an independent paper. They independently choose what to publish (and non of it false). Unlike state owned media who are limited. Each of the candidates aspiring for presido had their issues with the post including former presidoz. Abena Kaingu, instead of wasting time with your rhetoric, say something to prove their reports as wrong and defamatory, otherwise they shall remain to be true.

Elo iwe Kaingu, olo nikufunisisa nchito, why demonise the Post in a meeting with civil servants. You are really desperate ayi. Wapya PF yabwela!!!!

  115. Mr Maestro Hhehhehhehhe dont think you are campaigning for HH but you are actual driving away even little votes he had from your HH fartherest away! With your kind attitude I now feel like vomiting HH!

  116. Teta in today’s Post, ati “Mmembe grabbed his Mutinta (Mazoka’s daughter) from a man dying of cancer!?” Niya how iyi manje? The brotha is battling cancer & u start chewing the wife?!

  117. Ka Mutinta also, u mean u could’nt hold your tuma panties up & nurse hubby instead of rushing to give up the punani to that stupid little boy otherwise known as Fred Mmembe???

  118. People can say what they like.Personlly i cant credit Mwanawasa just coz he is dead. Its Africa they can never be anything in order too much greediness, selfishness.Personally i don’t understand life.i voted and am not voting not that i don’t want,i registed in Lusaka and am in another town.and if i travel i wont have food on the table.my heart bleeds with pain to see what is going on,am educated, single broke but am working.God have mercy on us. A politician doesn’t care.MY POINT IS MWANAWASA DIDN’T ANYTHING TO A COMMON ME.

The post has always been the post Chiluba knows, lets just call a spade a spade

  119. #166 somehow I concur with what you are saying but please think twice, you and me let us this time vote for someone who is new on the political scene so that we see if this time around we will be well looked after. All working Zambians must vote for HH.

  120. Kaingu is another joker. If Govt accords a lot of respect for the civil service , then why are they payed peanuts? Pamene apa he was saying that victimisation was looming for those ministers that were percieved not to have supported RH in his party presidential bid against Magande.Manje bayamba job seeking…loser

  121. Kaingu has joined the bandwagon of job seekers. Who made Kaponyas and why are they Kaponyas – noone has created jobs. Apamwambas children no one is dull! We need a president who could better lives of most of the poor and living environment. If the apamwabas with their big houses and cars could feel the hit of having no money in their pocket for a day, how about us!!! Apamwambas are seeking jobs in MMD thinking Rupiah is winning!!! SHAME ON YOU!!!UBWATO – UBWATO -will teach you a lesson. Sata never said Chiluba did not plunder but had plans of doing things – NOW RB and Chiluba. Mwandabwa ma dull imwe!!! Votani pa Bwato, tonse tu secret tuchoke, ndalama zimbwele muma poketi yatu!!!!!!!!!!Bwato

  122. kaingu is shallow minded rae you a dr to say that the post killed mwanawasa…think before youopen your mouth .infact dont use mwanswasa to seek a job from rb..just sale your currupt leader..rb

  123. Leave the Post out of this. Dont demonise our finest brains of Zed. They are doing a fantastic job, Just avoid being on wrong side by being truthful and sincere.

We will surely vote wisely so that Kaingu is on the street. No manners you think we civil servants are cadres? Muzachiona pa 1st November, 2008 wina azalila Kaleza ka..!

  124. membe remember to remember that very soon u will an issue in zambia.if a person who was a president could be brought down, what of u who is just a simple

  125. LT is getting frustrating trying to post stuff and not working. Plus LT should sort out their spelling, there is no EXCUSE!!!!

  126. Didn’t The Post attack Levy and yet they now say he did so much for Zambia. Isn’t it true. Words speak for themselves and there are archives.

  127. LT are selecting what they’re posting. I posted something and it hasn’t appeared and I didn’t even insult. Nothing’s changed with free speech then has it?!!! I’m going to set up my own blog then.

  128. Mr. Membe has the duty to report responsibly. The Italian Ammbassador was a victim. When you make serious allegations with no evidence, whether you are a vp or a member of the public, you have the right to sue. When LPM died he changed his tune just because the man died. Imagine if a new independent paper came out and started attacking Mr. Membe’s morality for example. To be honest I’m very disappointed. He was against Mr. Sata FTJ and 3rd term debate but now Mr. Sata can do no wrong. Who is the political prostitute now?!

  129. You dont label someone a thief before the law has found him guilty. The POST do it for their own gain at the expense of ethical journalism.

That is what gullible people dont see. You dont have to be a rocket scientist to know this. Dont condemn before the due process of the law. Simple as it is, yet how many gullible people will choose to overlook this and pine for cheap township gossip? As many as are blind and have this disease of the mind.

  130. LPM drove himself to the grave. it was his health but he was behaving like it was someone else’s . By the way they did it with Maureen

  131. KAINGU WHERE U UNCONCIOUS DURING THAT MOURNING PERIOD? IT WAS THE THE ZAMBIA ARMY WHO DROVE THE LATE. JUST SHUT UP OR VOTE FOR HH.

  132. #84, Saviour wanted to subortage PF supporters at the wrong time. he expected it anyway. he should have done that long before the filing in date. that was suicidal for him. why do you think he himself crossed the boarder? he saw it coming…. whatever you say, he angered a lot of people with his selfishness. he shouldnt have scrificed the lives of the Zambians for money – because on that day, there would have been a riot in Lusaka and many parts where Sata has support. Chizeleza ncha Chishimba.

  133. A right thinking, cultured, learned, respectful Zambian woman and man can honestly congratulate that Tabloid newspaper for insults and derogatory remarks? Can someone tell me that this is the way we should teach our children in a Christian nation? Wait until its your turn for your brother, sister, daughter or son to be at the mercy of this newspaper. Tomorrow it may be you at its mercy. Watch out. Even the most liberal with freedom of expression like America dare not insult their leaders. This newspaper is in a glass house………..

  134. mwanawas’a allies drove him to the grave coz they advised him wrongly even when he was sick.had he been advised to resign, who knows maybe we wud have had him around as a seniour statesman enjoying free tax

  135. i can’t see anything wrong with what the post is doing. if RB is right let him sue the post, but if he’s wrong let him apologize for his past misdeeds and come out clean. the bible says “you shall know the truth and the truth shall set you free” and also “..that he who hides his sins will not prosper but he that confesses and forsakes them shall find mercy.” if RB has nothing to hide let him come out clean . but as things stand the description of him given by the post fits him. in this age of free speech, those who aspire for public office must be above board coz we will definitely expose them should they try to hide there skeletons.

  136. can some one advise me on which street, small fake collage is where I can dress up and wait for Kaingu”I maybe the X, fourth,or the next lucky woman waiting for miyanga butti chinox
