Members at lower level causing problems in UPND/PF pact

Share

Political Activist Dante Saunders has observed that the problems that have rocked the UPND/PF pact are being caused by the party members at lower organs.

Mr. Saunders says from the meetings that he held with both UPND leader Hakainde Hichilema and PF’s Michael Sata, it is clear that the two opposition leaders are still interested in the Pact and that all the wrangles in the pact were being caused by the leadership at lower organs.

The veteran politician says it is evident that some members of the two parties in the Pact are scared of losing their positions in their respective parties once the Pact leader is announced hence the misunderstandings.

Mr. Saunders noted that there is need for all the leaders in the two opposition political parties to reach a compromise and ensure that whatever decision they make is for the benefit of the nation.

Mr. Saunders added that there is need for the political leaders to prioritize the interests of the entire nation before their personal interests.

Meanwhile, Mr. Saunders has urged all the political parties to consider empowering the youths in their parties instead of using them to ignite violence during elections.

Mr. Saunders suggested that each political party should reserve at least 30 percent of their parliamentary adoptions for the younger generation.

He says this will help in grooming the youths for future political responsibilities.

  1. Dante Saunders is a nonentity and since when did he become a political activist? The fact that Joe Kalusa spews emotional outbursts on a daily basis and has not been disciplined or publicly reprimanded, shows that HH and the UPND top brass support what he says. The same applies to PF where Kabimba treats his so called PACT partners as juniors. This whole PACT nonsense is a sheer waste of peoples time and the sooner they publicly announce it’s death, the better. It’s simple; HH will NOT allow illiterate Sata to ride on his back to get to State House while Sata will NEVER allow the young tonga bull to ride on his back to get the presidency!

  2. yes you are right the pact is being destroyed by upnd cadres who are busy attacking mr SATA, even on HH´s facebook page you will find massive attacks on SATA. And bafikalaaa you expect us to vote for your HH when he is chosen as a pact candidate which can not even happen!!!

  3. After yesterday’s MUVITV news release, I am now looking forward to witness a 2011 presidential elections contest between man of the moment Under5 HH of the UPND and Overfive Sata Michael Chilufya (who lost something) not only at PF-UPND PACT level but at National Presidential elections level slated for the end of the year 2011.

I will be glad is Mr Over5 Sata MC does not pull out of the presidential race so thay UPND’s HH embarrasses PF by pushing Sata to a distant 3 position in the elections outcome of this 2011 tripartite elections while HH forms GRZ Administration as President of Zambia or comes out number when he helps UPND to regain its 2001 elections position when Mr serpentine Sata MC of PF came out number 9 or so out of the 10 then presidential contestants.

    Be blest…

  4. ON “Mr. Saunders says from the meetings that he held with both UPND leader Hakainde Hichilema and PF’s Michael Sata, it is clear that the two opposition leaders are still interested in the Pact and that all the wrangles in the pact were being caused by the leadership at lower organs” I am surprised at Daunter’s level of thinking because Appointed-Secretary-General of PF position is not a lower organ but a Chief Executive office of the PF and Wynter KABIMBA is using that position with instructions from Sata MC, an unelected PF leader since 2001 when PF was formed, to belittle the UPND’s relevance in Zambian politics.

Unfortunately for the PF undemocratic party, the mighty UPND Team has educated members who have seen through the PF deception which wont work at all.
