Kabwata Patriotic Front aspiring candidate Given Lubinda has appealed to United Party for National Development (UPND) president Hakainde Hichilema to stop attacking the Patriotic Front in his campaign messages.
Mr. Lubinda says Mr. Hichilema should not be bitter with the Patriotic Front for his failures as he decided to leave the pact on his own.
Speaking recently, Mr.Lubinda says it is unfortunate that Mr. Hichilema has resorted to insulting the PF as he is now regretting having pulled out of the pact.
He has however wished the UPND leader the best in his campaigns stating that electorates would feel pity and give him some votes.
Mr. Lubinda has since advised the UPND to mind its own business in its campaigns rather than attacking the Patriotic Front

Lubinda tolerates  PF to attack UPND  but when UPND reacts in defence to pf and lubinda it must be accepted by Zambians,

It is PF who are regreting the demise of the PACT. That is why Sata bullocked Kabimba and Mmembe as having misled him. UPND moved on a long time ago, why can’t PF move on as well? I know it is difficult to move on as the truth that PF will never win the elections has dawned. Never, because after this loss, Sata is retiring and Sata is PF, so the party will demise as well.
That iS why UPND could not field in about 12 constituencies, that is why pf could not field in two constituencies.

Rumour is strongly circulating that Given Lubinda is eyeing for the position of PF Presidency on account of Sata’s failing health. He thinks HH might spoil his ambitious game.
PF cannot win this election because their character was reviewed more at the break up of the pact, and many realised that Sata is still the same and a man who cannot be entrusted with leadership because he is full of divisions. HH is a uniting factor in the nation than Sata because when Saki left UPND in 2006, they never insulted him but just tried their level best to bring him back by enganging some senior citizens to make things work, those are leaders we need, and not those full of insults like Sata. When Sata was in MMD the party was full of divisions and thugery like the beating of cabinet ministers in Kabwe who opposed Chiluba’s third term, Chawama matchetes, calling North-westerners as buttocks which will never be infront etc. Sata is now worse than before.

THis is happening right now in the Republican party where the 7 candidates are vying 4 nomination to run against Barak Obama.
