The Ruling Patriotic Front says UPND leader Hakainde Hichilema has no right to advise republican President Michael Sata on how he should conduct himself.
PF deputy national chairperson Elizabeth Phiri says it is surprising that Mr. Hichilema, who she said is not a seasoned politician, can stand up and advise President Sata on how to conduct himself.
Mrs. Phiri says Mr. Hichilema should save his energy and mind his own business of running his party, which she described as a provincial party.
Speaking to QFM, Mrs. Phiri said President Sata is where he is today because he is a seasoned politician and has risen to his current position because of his achievements in the various positions he has served.
She says the country will not allow Mr. Hichilema to continue misconducting himself.
The UPND leader is said to have written to President Michael Sata advising him on how to conduct himself as head of state.
And Mrs. Phiri has described MMD president Nevers Mumba’s storming of state house grounds on Sunday as unfortunate and misplaced.
She says Dr. Mumba should always remember that if he wants to become president, he has to learn and understand presidency.
Mrs Phiri states that Dr. Mumba is only degrading himself by his conduct considering that he understands diplomacy, as a former diplomat.
