  1. Lusaka Stadium ! Looks like the progress is going on well.I like that…thumbs ba pf for that. The plan might have not been originally planned by you but you are surely doing a good job of it.

  2. Pics 1-7, How nice to see a modern stadium taking shape in Lusaka, the capital city.
Pic # 9, The woman on far left shows off what a big smile is all about.
The good pictures are sadly overshadowed by the persistent fatal road accidents and the piles upon piles of garbage littering everywhere. Is Zambia failing to tackle these serious problems?

  3. The garbage (not carbbage) blocking the road is in Wusakili (KITWE) not Ndola LT, just look at the MP and the area. Am impressed by the Lusaka Stadium, work is progressing well though i can thank RB not PF coz my memory isnt short.
    The accident looks fatal, eeiissh.

  4. I like the Lusaka Stadium. I hate the mountains of rubbish all over Zambian cities. I hate the servile smiles in pic. no. 9. I hate the Police pandering to the politicians by creating offences for opposition parties’ members. I hate the structures for the primary school. I like the Head Teacher for the primary school. I like the Zambian national team.

  5. Govt should consider sponsoring that soccer fan to go and cheer the team in SA. He is definitely a passionate fan and we need such pipo….

  6. thanks to RB for the stadium then one will wake up and name it like if he was the one started the project.he is good at naming .

    • Is RB paying for it from his pocket? When will you learn to take ownership of assets that belong to you the Zambian people and not Political parties?

  7. How on earth do people find these pictures fascinating
This pictures personifies suffering to the core

    Feel sorry, for zambians

    Thanks

  8. BIG THAGS TO RB AND MMD FOR COMING UP WITH THE PLAN OF THE STADIUM AND ACTUALLY STARTING TO BUILD IT. SHAME DO SOMETHING ABOUT THE SCHOOLS IN ZAMBIA. YOU BEMBAS WHEN SATA AND HIS CADRES AND PF POLICE ARE HARRASING THE OPPOSITION YOU GET EXCITED. REMBER ZAMBIA DOES NOT BELONG TO PEOPLE WHO CANNOT FARM LIKE YOU BEMBAS.WE ARE FEEDING YOU WITH OUR MEAT AND FISH BUT YOU KEEP ON INSULTING US.YOU GO BACK TO NOTHERN AND LUAPULA YOU LAZY PEOPLE WHOSE JOB IS JUST TO STEAL. LUSAKA DOES NOT BELONG TO BEMBAS NEITHER IS THE CB.

    • Tell them, these guys are lucky. They should FTJ for bringing them during the burial of Zambia National Team(1993).By the way they are making lsk to look dirty because the are now street vendors

  9. The head teacher of Mango Grove is better looking than any of those women with Kaseba. Naba muka yama bene nabapwa. When will Kasaba travel ukuya sambako futi? Its a month now, no trip ku Japan or pa Europe.

  10. Picture N° 34. What a contrast ! Just where is Mango Grove School. Have you noticed the nice modern bungalows in the background. Even in Picture 33, one notices the nice modern buildings (could be flats or shopping mall). So how come desks where donated to this dilapidated school. The monies used to buy the desks could have been used to improve the infrastructure. With the onset of the rainy season, those desks will rot ! Maybe I am wrong but this is a misplaced priority! Nice background though!

    • Squatters Village, Grippis Farm, Chamba Valley (that’s just outside Lusaka). 3 mud brick buildings divided into 5 classrooms, 1 office, 1 kitchen. 7 teachers with 1 doubling as head teacher. There you are!

  11. at least we’ll remember RB for the lusaka stadium and mwanawasa for ndola stadium and renovation of old independence stadium. even afcon i give credit to RB, he did a lot in the sponsoring of the team.

    • Yes RB did a lot for AFCON. iF YOU REMEMBER VERY WELL HE SOMETIMES DEAPED HIS POCKETS JUST TO HELP THE STRANDED ZAMBIA NATIONAL TEAM IN A FOREIGN COUNTRY.

  12. The good stuff- the stadium, the infectious nationalism is all due to RB and the bad stuff- the garbage, the violence and the 15th century classrooms is all PF’s fault.

  13. The Good the Bad and the Ugly of Zambia. It seem party Cadres are always the ones causing trouble. I say again this trend needs to stop. Mr Police Officer do your job arrest these thugs, i don’t care which political party they belong to UPND, MMD, PF; F## them ALL!… this bs” needs to stop.

  14. I once said zambia is a dirty, filthy nation and i was vilified on LT for that truth. Now the photos bear that sad truth for all the world to see.

    • I agree with you. This is embarrassing, but then it reflects the society we live in, filthy, uncouth and completely backward. If Zambia were a house you lived in you wouldn’t bring along your friends, unless of course they were cut of the same material.

    • He has since moved on to western province. With Sata if you want to remain current dont blink you may just find yourself in another province lol.

  15. So ! Zambia can build fancy, expensive sports stadiums, but when it comes to schools – nothing ! when it comes to managing garbage – nothing
the country priorities is messed up. lets ask the chinese to build us some schools and housing for the citizens of this country. only the well to do can afford a day at one of these stadiums

    • Thanx Sepo.I’ve always said it many times zambian poverty is by choice. We prioritize the wrong things then wonder why we’re poor both at national and personal levels.

  16. Do Zambian police have riot gear to defend themselve in such incidents of riots? If not that means our government treat Police like Dogs.
