The Evangelical Fellowship of Zambia (EFZ) has condemned the European Union for promoting homosexuality, lesbian and transgender practices in Zambia.EFZ Executive Director, Pukuta Mwanza, said the Church organisation in Zambia totally rejects the illicit act being perpetuated by the European Union which he said is against the Christian values in the nation.
Rev Mwanza said FEZ is extremely displeased with the letter written by the EU which seeks to promote homosexuality in Zambia.
In a letter copied to the Minister of Home Affairs and the Europian Union (EU), dated April 2, 2013, Rev Mwanza said the EFZ was responding to an advert which was placed in one of the media organisations, dated March 21, 2013.
Rev Mwanza stressed that the so-called advert was not welcome in the Christian Nation, Zambia.He said this in a Press Statement made available to ZANIS in Lusaka yesterday.Rev Mwanza stated that all churches in Zambia firmly support the position that has been taken by the Zambian Government in rejecting this unnatural practice.
He said it is unlawful in Zambia to engage in homosexual acts, adding that the behaviour of the European Union in promoting the barbaric act in the nation is at variance with the law of this country and that it is unacceptable to the Zambian society.He further urged the Zambian Government not to succumb to such proposals which he said were trying to seek and interfere with the internal affairs of this nation.
Rev Mwanza stressed that by promoting the so-called human rights that are contrary to the country’s fundamental Christian values as well as African and traditional beliefs and practices was not doing good to the nation.Rev Mwanza said the position of Government has accurately reflected the popular and majority position of the Zambian people on this matter both religious and secular.
He added that the Christian community in Zambian is not pleased in totality with the said advert which was dispatched by the European Union in a named publication.He said the Christian Community will stand to protect the morality of this country and the Zambian society at large.
Rev Mwanza noted that in a democratic nation like Zambia, the interest of the majority must be respected, adding that the interest of the minority groups to pursue unacceptable practices and behaviours cannot supersede the interests of the majority.
He said the promotion of homosexuality in Zambia is a breach of the Republican Constitution, saying the audacity with which the EU is seeking to promote this illicit act raises grave concern to citizens in the nation.And Rev Mwanza has also reiterated that his Church organisation strongly supports and that it will continue supporting the statement from Minister of Home Affairs Edgar Lungu.
Minister Lungu recently indicated that Zambia rejects the move which has been taken by the EU on the promotion of homosexuality, lesbian and transgender practices in the nation in Zambia.Rev Mwanza advised the EU to rethink and reflect on this matter again and be sensitive to the nation’s local beliefs and acceptable norms by rescinding the decision.He said the EU should as well offer an ernest apology on this transgression they have taken in a sovereignty nation like Zambia.

I hope this wont be encouraged in Zambia, am telling you the people involved in these acts are not normal, call me what you will but i have friends who are homos being with them almost everyday i kinder study them, something is missing in there bongo bongo, the way they carry on, their emotional status, really i fail to understand their reasoning, elo they can be extreem…, in every thing i mean everything, i have to contain myself not to expose myself as to how i feel or believe about them, in short…, they are sick period, check their back ground, their life style, they are doing it for selfish reasons non of them are born homos, it’s an excuse, they are sick!
My comment is that people who practice homosexuality/ lesbianism are not normal in the brain. If chickens, sheep, goats, hyenas, cattle, ducks, yes, even pigs know that they can only have sex with the opposite sex, I do not understand why a normal human being should act worse than these low creatures. Our sexual organs were created in a certain way to fit into some other organ. Even in Engineering there is what is called male and female threads, and these go together to give a perfect fit. Zambia should stand tall and refuse to bring into the country, mad men’s proposals and ideas. In sum, to practice homosexuality/ lesbianism is to practice madness and gross sin.
EFZ sentments are misdirected for the public just to begin a debate. EFZ and all Zambians are aware about the position of PFgovt regarding the issue at hand. PF govt is non commital on homosexual sickness behaviour. It therefore behoves on EFZ to demand from PF govt its position on these faggats(homosexuals), so that the law begins to reign on culprits. Here in Europe this matter was aggressively and forcebly made into law to recognise faggats. However, the western world is maimed morally beyond repair.They are devided over it and dont openly show it. Sana I agree with you. I am in the medical field in the USA. All of my homosexual patients are HIV positive and are on anti-psychotic medications. I also happen to have a colleague who is flamboyantly gay. When asked by one of the physicians if he had kids if he would let them be gay he said “hell no”. That answer right there answered all my questions!
Only way to stop EU from asking this of you is to stop asking or accepting money/Aid from them.

Both homosexuality and prostitution have a long back ground in Human history. It is an old industry in short. What Zambians need to do at family level is to educate family members on the evil of these acts which undermine good morals. Otherwise people will condemn the move like they do on prostitutions but to no avail. Homosexuality is already here. In Lundazi a lesbian couple involving a young lady and an elderly one,walk freely in the street but no one has ever courageously talked to them instead they just talk from the back. If they have courage of that type, how many do we think do it in secret? Personal displine matters in this matter.
Isnt the death penalty or capital punishment against Christian values but yet Zambia which is a ‘christian’ nation still allows it. It is important to think outside the box people. I was also against homosexuality and was just disgusted by it. Then i came to the realization that homosexuals are just ordinary people like us all but choose a different lifestyle from what is perceived as ‘normal’ and should be respected and left to be. And besides no one really knows whether homosexuality is a nurture or nature occurrence and we will probably never know. All people should be free to be with whoever they are attracted to. Homosexuals are people too.
There is nothing wrong with encouraging full acceptance of homosexuality and bisexuality in society. It certainly won’t hurt anyone. It should be seen as normal and equal to heterosexuality, because it is! A huge benefit to society is that same-sex couples can adopt babies to give them a loving home and family.
