  1. where was the current Zambia railways MD as PS, isn’t it this same ministry? whats his name again, Muyenga Atanga?

  2. How Permsec’s do we have now in this ministry, We do we now have two or more permsec’s and deputy Ministers in one ministry? No wonder the Finance Minister said the Govt is Cash strapped….Where is the lean govt we were promised?

  3. I receive this news with mixed feelings. Mr Chiwala has been doing a good job at RDA. For the first time award of contracts has been transparent and in my view fair. But as is the case everywhere in Zambia, when fairness rules the big old guns cry foul. They cry foul to plot 1 and someone gets fired, reassigned or promoted. You have the same guns benefiting everywhere. Government ministry contracts same guns. Zesco contracts same guns. Contracts in the oil industry same guns. They just come in different shades. I can bet my last ngwee someone complained about Mr Chiwala’s good works at RDA.

    • However you look at it …this is a demotion as he will not oversee activities at RDA as its been moved to State House. They just want him out of the way so they can eat as much as they want…end of the day its the tax payer who will survive due to contracts being handed to companies that cannot deliver.

    • BC is incorruptible, and that didn’t go down well wwith Sata, the pretender.

His jinx of putting RDA under state house and Nsanda as RDA Chairman is to STEAL. Stealing and Corruption has been difficult under BC, this move is not a promotion but rather demotion. They couldn’t fire him, but rather sidelined.

    • Good testimony Mr Chiwala. Let others emulate you. Keep the fire burning. Refuse to be compromised and your works shall follow you bro. Proud of you. Congrats and all the best

  4. They could not fire him. Willie Nsanda and Sata are eating with both hands. He was a misfit in their scheme of plundering.

  5. People will always complain when one is doing fine. This man must have made difficult for big fish to eat at RDA. So, they had to use the big man (SATA) to remove him in the name of promotion. Watch this space. That man, they have put is more corrupt. Time will time, and lot of people will complain.

CONGRATES to MR CHIWALA. Just get prepared for that new position. You will be fired soon. The just want a way to get you out. It is easy to be fired as a PS

  6. Benard Chiwala is a God fearing man no wonder The Lord open doors in his life.May The Lord bless you my dear brother and happy days.

  7. Has anybody bothered to count how many PSs the government of the republic of Zambia has? Please give us a figure so that we know who is doing what. The PF government is top-heavy and we cannot develop like this. The top-heavy government requires a lot of resources to run. Meanwhile, developmental projects are suffering due to inadequate funding. We can save a lot with a lean government structure. Anyway, we have spoken and it remains for the government to take our advice.

  8. Mr Chiwala is my president at EIZ. good to hear that, youre promoted. but be careful this man can fire you soon. anyway you are the engineer

  9. However you look at it …this is a demotion as he will not oversee activities at RDA as its been moved to State House. They just want him out of the way so they can eat as much as they want…end of the day its the tax payer who will survive due to contracts being handed to companies that cannot deliver.
And we wonder why we never develop – too much greed and corruption.

    • Iwe Jay Jay, stop boring us with your story of a demotion, what do you know. RDA basically works under the Ministry of works, just that Chiwala was made to report through State House. The PS is the overall boss in a Ministry, which RDA, must somehow report to, even though they are reporting to the State House. The man has actually been promoted, not demoted.

  10. Mr. Chiwala, remember what happened to Chriticles Mwansa of Zra. He was seen as a hindrance at Zra to the big fishes, later he was duped into Ps. What has happened to him now? Its a sorry site what politics can do to innocent pipo. Mukayapya ba Shetani for mistreating yo fellow human beings. Chi Nsanda, wabe fima kalashi! Id……..t.

  11. I’m gonna add to the accolades this man is receiving (I trust you bloggers that much) as an honest, god-fearing hrd working man.

I have no knowledge of him, but it’s good to hear of leadership we can all fall behind.
    Godspeed Mr. Chwala.

  12. Mr Bernard Chiwala has been shafted. He has been doing a commendable job as CEO of RDA, which is the main flagship of President Sata. Someone somewhere is not making the underhand bucks due to his straight transparent and honest way he conducts himself, so moved out of RDA. Chairman Nsanda can now reap the proceeds. Very disheartening
