Government has described as Wishful thinking, assertions by some sections of the media that some Cabinet and deputy Ministers are planning to break away from the Patriotic Government.
Chief Government Spokesperson Joseph Katema has observed that the suggestions are clearly the work of the ruling party’s political opponents who want to gain political mileage from lies and falsehoods against the Government.
According to statement made available to ZANIS in Lusaka yesterday, Dr. Katema has confirmed that his Government was intact under the captaincy of President Michael Sata.
Dr. Katema said the government is intact and delivering on its mandate given to it by the people of Zambia during the 2011 tripartite
elections.
Dr. Katema , who is also Information and Broadcasting Services Minister, stated that Government will not be swayed by what he called cheap politicking from delivering on its development programmes.
He said government will remain focused on the agenda of building roads, schools, hospitals and other social services and facilities to improve the living standards of its people.
The Minister has since advised media houses to guard against being used to propagate falsehoods stating that if they are litigated against and lose cases in the courts of law, they may go under and they will be the first to cry foul that their media freedoms are being trampled upon.
Dr. Katema said the media should always bear in mind that freedom goes with responsibility.

But why they continue interrogating Kabimba about the 4th Republic. what is he going to do with the Sudanese Pounds which is in PF accounts.
The PF is gradually losing its impetus and subsequently it will cease to exist as a party to reckon with. This has been brought about by its tribal nature and the ever increasing immorality among the PF top leadership. The above mouth piece is desperately attempting to manage damage control and, whatever solutions/remedies the PF has in its magic hat will not resolve the current problems facing these hoodlums. These crooks are castigating and insulting each other. Following from this possible catastrophe, a circumstance which if cleverly/brilliantly manipulated by the opposition may emerge and most likely to propel the UNPD to victory. Further, these dishonest hoodlums are clueless and their thoughts are not well calculated,even though they want their audience to buy into their stories.

dont forget its common knowledge that kabimba is supported by mmembe & Guy scott and some ministers,,,, and that group has structures within PF who oppossed to kambwili`s (GBM`s) group and Sata Mulenga
@Ndobo, you told me about the 4th Party, but I for sure know that Guy Scott is not part of it. Guy Scott is just in middle of everything, is friend of Chikwanda who is in GBM/Kambwili camp. Kabimba is with Mmembe & Nchito + the Sudanese trained militia, but no minister is following that ka styupid, who gave out PF account to the Sudanese. Forget about Mulenga Fimofimo.

I also doubted this story because no pf member has brains or courage to start a new party.they also claimed that they have met 8times of which if it was so,sata would have known through his intelligence.
We are definitely breaking away. The President has appointed his son Mulenga as the PF Presidential candidate in 2016. This we find unacceptable. Zambia is not a kingdom. We are definitely leaving the PF to Mr Sata’s family.
@4 minister, your reasoning is very shallow and hollow. if mulenga wants to be president he has the right just as george bush jonior had after his father left office. you cant stop anyone from becoming president simply coz their father was once so. you shud ve told your halpless father to be president so you become one too.

Yes it is wishful thinking because we know you can’t survive without free things, especially with the increment in fuel price that will lead to mass increments in all goods and services. We also know that all ministers are useless as HEMCS put it so we can’t expect anything good.
This doesn’t affect anyone. Lose 20 ministers, PF can find another 20 to replace them. Besides which minister is brave enough to risk the wrath of Sata? Which minister is bold enough to risk it all, the good life, because he/she feels short changed by Sata?
Please have respect for the Minister. He is giving timely advice to the media to be careful not to be rushing to publish stories before investigating stories properly. To be honest if you compare the quality of intellect and journalism that we have in Zambia to that found in our peer-countries like Kenya, it is like we are 50 years back. Just look at the quality of analysis you find in Zambian newspapers! Most publications go round peddling rumour as news every day. In Zambia, there is no difference between a journalist and a non-journalist when you compare what is written. Some stories when you read them, it is as if you are reading a comment on facebook. C.r.a.p! So the Minister is in order to advise. You don’t have to insult him just because you are not PF supporter.

This is one rare instance the president has said something truthful, that his ministers are a bunch of profitless sycophants. But then we all knew that.

The minister may know the truth but does not want to show outside the truth. In leadership even when things are tough and are worsening everyday, you must show those outside the fight that we are winning. John Maxwel said, ” Quitters never win and winners never quit”, so is the scenario of this minister. Remember how KK was finished. On the ground things were bad but his ministers took the message of hope to him.
