United Party for National Development (UPND) leader Hakainde Hichilema says his party is more than ready for any election at any time.
Mr. Hichilema told Qfm News in an interview that the UPND is working tirelessly to make people understand its agenda.
He has further expressed confidence that the party will scoop the Mangango parliamentary by-elections set for August 19th.
Mr. Hichilema says Zambians have realized that the UPND is the only party that they can depend.
He stressed that his party will have it easy to participate in any election whenever called because it has spread the message to the Zambian people.

My whole family’s vote is on UPND and HH this time around. Lets try him and see what is he capable of doing for mother Zambia. I think he has some rare qualities not exhibited by all his competitors. To me he ticks all the boxes.
How ever if HH behaves like its business as usual like those in UNIP,MMD and PF I will rip him apart with words he wont forget. Then I will no choice but to form a party and challenge him.
For now keep it UPND and HH. Zambia’s hope and help is entirely on you guys. As soon the elections are announced I will jet in to drum up support.

HH good luck. But I think you should just stick to the Paliamentary for now. If time and or situation permits that Zambia holds other elections (I believe you meant Presidential) then you will talk, for now please just concetrate on the Paliamentary by elections. Be cool as cool can get and show some civility, you may end up winning more support and eventually get what you really want = PRESIDENT.

HH does not stand a chance in the looming Presidential by elections simply because he does not have enough MPS to support his government. Should he win the by election, how will he manage hostile opposition MPS? I am not opposing him but simply asking his supporters to be rational and seek a pact with the MMD where HH will be vice – president. My argument is based on the facts below :

If elected, and HH finds parliament hostile, he has powers to dissolve parliament and call for snap general elections. Easy pizzy, of course to go down that path one has to be sure they will be elected and their party will increase its fortunes in parliament.
HH has done nothing to warrant a vote. Tell me 4 reasons that makes you go for HH. This man was once given an orpotunity to show magnumity but he endeded up empowering himself while people died as a result of the proccess he undertook with Chiluban govt . ZP (Zabwino Palibe): you are so dull. you cant see that the Mines are performing. Without Privatization, Copperbelt should have been a shell. Think before you vomit your stinking language.
Only persons who are politically blind will vote for HH, this under five boy is no where nearer to Nevers or Edith.
Those who abuse the trust and defraud Zambians should never be voted. The sales of the mines are still questionable and HH has the answers to our million questions of those dark days.
The truth is that UPND still has a lot of work to done if they are to carry the day at elections. Their structures are very weak and porous. They need to work hard and sharpen their message to the people.
Zambia is more of a brocken-down or failing state: but, Sata is not the problem – corruption, tribalism, nepotism, regionalism, economic malaise et cetera are all but symptoms of the bigger problem of failure by our politicians to build and maitntain a vision, good governance structures, legal and operating systems that free all Zambians to self-actualise and contribute to the common good of all.
So far, I have heard faint lone voices from only two insignifant politicians: Fr Bwalya and Mr Chipimo. The rest are to lost in the political jungle as they clamour for power in State…

UPND as a party was dealt a fatal blow simultaneously with the passing on of the great Anderson Mazoka. HH and his misguided supporters are scavengers at best. They only see hope of ruling beyond the demise of a sitting president. The only support UPND and HH get is online rubbish churned out by the likes of ZWD and barkers like Wanzelu
HH of course is the only one whom we r hoping for. But he shud Work HARDER in Northern, Muchinga and Luapula Provinces.

Can you tell me which presidential candidate you will vote for and state 3 things that he has done in order to vote for him apart from HH. As for me i can only vote for Wynter Kabimba if chosen as pf candidate,or UPND HH.No opposition political party president is much capable than HH as at now.
I would vote for Chipimo because
1. He has no record of having shortchanged the Zambia people econmically
2. Have never heard him sadistic language against any one
3. He seems particulary concerned with mordern technonically. Have heard him propound renewable energy investment idea.
4. He seem to have come from a comfortable economic background.
Lastly never vote for people that never had comfortable childhood. Because pyscologically they want to make up for the past. Sata used to say he was born under a tree and his father was cook.
HH is very intelligent and nothing should be taken away from him. The point I raised earlier regards to how he can form government with only 31 mps considering how malicious and toxic opposition mps can be. Those of you trying to defend him don’t love him and are mere hangers on. This goes for Nevers Mumba as well; MMD can’t govern without the cooperation of UPND/FDD/ADD.
