FAZ announces Zambia-Sudan gate charges

Share

FAZ on Monday announced gate charges for the 31st August friendly match against Sudan set for new Heroes National Stadium in Lusaka.

Football House has pegged gate charges at K 80 all round while VIP stand is costing K 500.

“The gate charges have been pegged at K 80 all round except for the VIP stand which will cost K 500. The VIP stand only has 480 seats.” a statement from FAZ read.

“Soccer fans are advised that very few vehicles will be allowed into the stadium area as construction of the access roads is still going on. In view of the fore going soccer fans will be advised on alternative parking areas.”

This will be a preparatory match for Zambia ahead of the 2015 Africa Cup qualifier opener against Mozambique scheduled for Levy Mwanawasa Stadium in Ndola on 6 September.

  1. ba FAZ thats very expensive considering this is a friendly, what more international games te 100 na 800,change for the better bola its for the poor not rich pipo only.

    • I and my wife have to be looked after. South Africa is an expensive country to live in with my social standing.

    • @ KB…
      …proper English is…’my wife and I…’
That stadia was built for the Zedian people to ‘enjoy’ the facility….The majority are below average status economically. Considering this is a ‘maiden-debut’ game for the stadia, fees were supposed to be reasonable….say K30-K50 open wing, K150-K200 for VIP to fill the stadia to capacity. Then subsequent games, FAZ can charge whatever they want

    • F.oo.lish, the stadium will be empty, this is why they make losses in Zambia, they can’t justify the costing of this friendly match.

  2. Faz u ‘re too expensive u want to reduce the number of fans. Awe bweshani mutengo at least K50. U even know how we Zambian would love to support our team.

  3. Dear F.A.Z,
The gate charges are two high and i dont know if its for reasons of making huge profits. But Iam afraid you will not make the expected profits at K 80 =00 open wings and K 400=00 grand stand. You should also be considerate to a common soccer fan who needs to come in and cheer the team.
Take this simple example, 30000 fans multiply by K 30=00 will give you K 900 000 ane 8000 fans multiply by K80=00 will give you 640 000=00.
Come faz you can do better than that make the right decision.

  4. Ba FAZ when u are testing a structure for capacity and strain your costs should be lower. That chinese structure should be tested for its ability to handle to capacity.
Any way me and mushota wouldn’t attend that experiment first.

  5. This is the time when corrupt empty suits like Kalu and co. are salviating like hungry hyenas profusely rubbing their hands with glee.
Zambian football is going nowhere! !

    • This is what you get when you put selfish incompetent thugs in charge…Other FAs use friendlies to encourage women and children to attend with family discounts but not these empty suits.

  6. Pliz ba faz soccer fans are Barging pliz the gate prices are far much high cn u just put it @ 30 so that we support our

  7. ba FAZ each n evry zambian soccer fan z complaining about de charges bcoz ar vry high. Pliz reduce de charges so as to alow many fans about 45000 2 come n give suport 2 our lovely chipolopolo boys. Dat z de new stadium n t z ready 2 host AFCON 2019, so t has 2 b tested by allowin many fans 2 come.

  8. The gate fees are exorbitant; That is about $14 and $83 in a country where an average person lives on $1 per day. This is highly immoral!! Even in South Africa one cant pay that much to watch Bafana Bafana play Spain. That stadium was meant to entertain poor Zambians and not to be used as a money making scheme for Kalusha and his FAZ thieving friends. Shame on you FAZ. Majority of Chipolopolo fans/supporters come from “KWA” and not “KU” and therefore have no $14 ( two weeks meals) to pay to watch Zambia/Sudan friendly match.

  9. I see the stadium filling to the record number in Zambian history looking at the pricing. K80 is a good price so that there is enough money for the maintenance of the facility. Can you imagine the grass has never even been green due to lack of money for maintenance. Come on guys, K80 is nothing to watch a football game at whatever level.

  10. Lets just start serving, if you are drinking 12 Mosi a week, try to only take 2 and see how this balances up with the game ticket

  11. At the moment the team is not playing well and we don’t have a coach.we need an expetriate coach again zambia will never perform with a local coach, because we don’t recognize the local ones as players. And a lot of indiscipline from players they can only work under a foreign coach.please FAZ do something engage a foreign coach
