Chikondi Foundation President Bishop John Mambo says he has not been paid by anyone to malign anyone over the running of the country’s mining sector.

Reacting to Youth and Sports Minister Chishimba Kambwili’s assertions that Bishop Mambo along with Kitwe based Anglican Priest Fr Richard Luonde have been paid to malign Finance Minister Alexander Chikwanda, Bishop Mambo said no amount of money can buy him off.

Bishop Mambo reiterated that he will continue speaking out on issues that are going on in the nation.

“No one can buy me except blood of the lamb. I have stood for the truth and no money can buy me. If Mr Kambwili has evidence of the person paying me to speak, let him go ahead and name that person who paid me,” Bishop Mambo stated.

He said he is disappointed that an Honourable Minister should be going round scandalizing people without any evidence.

Meanwhile, Fr Luonde said Mr Kambwili’s reaction to the matter leaves much to be desired.

Fr Luonde said he has a lot of respect for Mr Kambwili but that his reaction is unfortunate.

He said no one has paid him to speak on the issues affecting the nation.

    • Why is he doing this. I am talking about hh. I am told they are related.

Why does UPND have to act so immaturely people?

      Thanks

    • In zambia people just speak ad libitum with no consideration to the harm caused to the other person. A little circumspection, just a little and arguments can be more rational. Debate the topic not the man – the game not the player.

    • But they paid you to yap what you did. Do you want us to even do to an extent of telling you just how much you got?

      Shameless liar

    • Bishop John every Zambian knows that you and fr. Lunde have been bought by the so called Cartel and we equally know that you are a horny Bishop which has rendered you as a casualty of unprotected sex.

  1. Sue him (Kambwili) if there is any truth in your refutations. Do not just pander to the media for the public to see you objecting to allegations leveled against yourselves.
Cause litigation to commence for Kambwili to show evidence or else he will be proved correct at what you have been politicizing as truth.

  2. This Chikwanda is just a corrupt old man. He has only admitted having links with Sigma Enterprises under pressure. And who is Chikwanda cheating that he does not know that Sigma does business with the mines when the company has only two directors i.e. himself and the British guy?
Chikwanda is using the scramble for PF presidency to dilute the corruption allegations. Chikwanda`s case is similar to Clive Chirwa`s. The only difference is that Chikwanda is Sata`s relative, and so he cannot be touched.
This is how much damage Sata`s tribalism has done to Zambia.

  3. Men of the Collar in Zambia are a disgrace because of wanting to live a life which is beyond their means. They are living an exclusive life than the flocks whom they are suppose to shepard. These Men of God are they worst caders than all head of Security Wings.Lets pray for them so that God may deliver them before He comes to liberate us from these modern day Gold Diggers busy abusing the Church.

  4. Breaking News!

The US Embassy in Lusaka last week briefed senior officials from Western Embassies and UN agencies based in Zambia that they should anticipate a violent and bloody presidential by-election in Zambia, the Zambian Watchdog has been told.

  5. Bishop pleasego back to your pulpit.

Politics and religion can not mix. Further more did Jesus tackle the Roman Empire? Blood of the Lamb in deed! Please why is everything in the church covered in Jesus’ Blood? Do you think engaging in politics is also covered in His Blood?

    • Jesus says to believers “you are the salt of the earth.” Believers must influence the world for the good of humanity. The ethics of the bible are applicable to today’s life and christians must take the challenge to influence wherever they are. Christians are not saved for a spot in heaven, but to influence and challenge darkness that God’s name may be known, people may see the attraction of a life lived in faith to God. I don’t know about religion, but the christian faith can only mean good for Africa. It definitely changed Europe

    • Va magazi magazi ivi! Si umfwiti uu?
      Sipped in blood!

There is no where in the bible where Satan wanted or used blood. Somebody else who claims to be the embodiment of peace has blood all over him? Blood this, blood that.

Si kuti Satan amunamidzila cabe yayi?

  6. Well said Bishop! Only young hotheads who dont know the history of Zambian politics and your integrity can doubt your statement

  7. Under the sun Bishop Mambo or Father Luonde cannot accept having been paid. However, they can hide but not from the obvious truth. Only God knows the truth. If not paid then the two clergymen have been compromised period. Or put it this way, they are sowing a seed right now in anticipation for a good harvest in the near future. They want to support one faction group so that come the appropriate time they get the desired benefits e.g. appointments to diplomatic or in government streams. We are not children but we can sense something deep down their hearts. Deep down themselves they know the truth. As for Fr. Luonde it is clear that the man has been compromised and even a two year old kid can attest to that.

  8. Without gbm, chikwanda, kambwili, lubinda, edgar etc PF can still survive a bit longer because these are big guys with small brains like ancient crocodiles.but without wynter(the master planner),mathani(chief financier)mmembe(the chief marketer),nchito(the chief legal advisor) PF can’t survive.

    • @ganjafarmer your B team of Wynter, Nchito, Matani, Mmeembe are all liabilities with terrible cobwebs in their closets..whereas Given, Edgar, Mulenga, Chiwkwanda (Chikwanda remains to be seen but deserves benefit of the doubt given his excellent work with the economy) this A team of Chikwanda et al can manage but will unfortunately probably still require the services of the two timer racist Scott for tactical and strategic purposes seeing Scott is well known all over Zambia thanks to his trips on behalf of the state at the expense of other PF leaders that are more genuine and actually care for people..it is a shame but such is life!

  9. I respect Bishop Mambo because he was one of the few clergy men that oppossed that Kafupi chap back in the “third republic” days..as for this exchange with Chishimba Kambwili they themselves really need to sit down and iron issues out, we don’t need tension. I wish my priest Father Bwalya was still with the PF, he was forced out by this same cartel, he was actually the first to warn us of a group that was secretly trying to control state house and that he and others were being blocked by this same cartel. Father Bwalya was spot on correct, God bless that man maybe with the expulsion of this cartel he might consider rejoining the party he helped win the 2011 elections!

  10. Bamambo and luonde the division in PF is not health your role is to bring these two camps togather and by so doing no one can smear mud on you

  11. Just the other week a Pastor in kitwe threw himself in the kafue river after being taken to court for molesting young girls. Bishop Mambo and Fr Luode think before you open your mouth; please stop the stupidity before people give up all the little respect they have in you.

  12. @ZWD you and your fellow satanic paid UPND cadres are so desperate for power that you go and fabricate stories then you cry like the babies you are at why the kwacha is so weak, its you fools abroad that are creating this panic and causing a forex phlight because you continue to exagerate the situation for your own personal and selfish reasons. You are as usefull as used toilet tissue, hopeless cretins telling lies..

  13. I ahe come back to say, that history is important to Zambia and must be enshrined in the Zambian National curriculum. It will soon be 25 years if multipartism in Zambia and students must learn and simulate the single party politics and now the systems stifled development. Despite the peace Zambians enjoyed in this era, many countries still had a lot of dissatisfaction for single party systems of governance.

  14. The cartel is on to something here. And I am inclined to support them. I never thought a time would come when I would support this evil cartel but on this Kaleza I am with them. Chikwanda will have to move mountains to convince me of non wrong doing on this one. The man has been caught with his pants down. No amount of labeling the other group ambitious will convince me. Ba Chikwanda, muli bakabolala! You ask how? You are stealing from the country. You have been used to stealing from Zambia for too long. In UNIP munaba, in MMD when you were Chiluba’s Chief of Staff you stole, manje under PF you want to steal again. Don’t you get full? Please Cartel expose this Mambala! You have my support for once.

    • YOU ARE DULL HERE THE FACT OF THE MATTER IS CHIKWANDA COMMITED A CRIME. WHY ARE YOU DULL CITIZENS PROTECTING HIM.
NEXT WEEK IS THE 17 HOUSES AN EX MINISTER BOUGHT IN HIS WIVEFS NAME OPPOSITE LEOPARDS CEMETARY IN ONE DAY.
      JUST WAIT.
      THIS IS CLEASING TIME!!!!!!!!!!!

  15. Soul healing is more integral than sensationalism and fighting causes. It is tempting to embarrass, humiliate and insult rich, successful and hard working individuals. The burden of proof is on the accuser. Pointing accusing fingers very often amounts to politicking or ruble rousing. Prosecutor, judge, policeman, all in one. That is bit too much. Soul healing was not the entry point for man hunting. Approach law enforcement agencies and request them to do their work, they are paid for that.

  16. This Chikwanda must explain clearly. I must warn him that the cartel has all the information about his dealings. In the first place they are just quiet and they are not responding. When they start unleashing those documents they are keeping against him, he will be fininshed. They are eveywhere in the government now even if there was change of government, the new government will have difficulties in dealing this group.
Kabimba was accused and he agreed to be probed. He never cired foul of any political intimidation and fought his way through. That is how strong a man should be. Just fight those accusations clearly and exulpate yourself. Crying to the public will not help.

  17. Bishop John every Zambian knows that you and fr. Lunde have been bought by the so called Cartel and we equally know that you are a horny Bishop which has rendered you as a casualty of unprotected sex.

  18. UNZA don, traditional leader/mines expert, Bishop or Father, you name them all – my senses go on high alert the moment they are quoted in the Post no matter how much I support the topic. That is how much confidence I have left in these guys since they started in 1990. They are just the opposite of whom they were when they started, well even just a few years ago, and they have never bothered to explain their change of spots – but maybe I expect too much: liars and agenda pushers have nothing to explain anyway.

    • I was equally disappointed that Mazuba could go out with Bishop who is visibly sick and I asked myself why her mother did not object but was welcoming the Bishop to her home. Integrity in Zambia is like Faith not easy to attain.

  19. Men of God for hire -These Two BISHOPS and Fathers have lowered standards on partiality of Religious Leaders . Is the Anglican main body so weak that they can not expel this Luonde ?
