PATRIOTIC Front (PF) secretary-general Wynter Kabimba has yet again appealed to Zambians to rally behind President Sata in his quest to develop the country.
Mr Kabimba, who is also Minister of Justice, says President Sata needs the support of everyone because he cannot develop Zambia alone.
“The President, Cabinet alone or the PF alone cannot develop the country. We need the support of everyone because we are in a hurry to bring development and uplift people’s lives,” Mr Kabimba said.
He said this on Sunday at Solwezi Airport when he made a brief stop-over en route to Zambezi. By supporting President Sata, people will be working in tandem with the Government.
“People must support themselves by supporting His Excellency President Sata. What we have done in the past three years is a clear testimony that a country can develop itself,” he said.
Mr Kabimba said development is not a difficult thing if people put their hearts to it.
“It is crystal clear in the last three years we have been in power that it is possible for an African government to develop its country. We have a story to tell that we have the interest of the people,” Mr Kabimba said.
He appealed to the people of Solwezi not to be petty but to tell people the development agenda of the PF.
And PF Mpongwe member of Parliament Gabriel Namulambe, who received Mr Kabimba in Solwezi, said the PF’s campaigns are issue-based.
Mr Namulambe, who is also Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, said people of Solwezi are yearning for development and they are all united behind the PF.
“The people of Solwezi have so far seen what the PF is doing and they are now convinced that the ruling party means well,” Mr Namulambe said.

Zambians are not f00ls to support a dead president. How is he going to develop the nation if he is hiding.
Kabimba is a joker. Campaigning for himself using a dead person ‘s glory. He is not even ashamed that most people know that Sata is dead.
In two weeks time Zambia is about to witness a another constitutional crisis when Sata fails to open parliament.

The ldiot has completely run out of ideas. How can we rally behind an imaginary president? What story is there to tell apart from the power struggles and the thefts being perpetrated in the PF.
Here is the PF scenario. Wynter & Co. have played their cards well. He is ahead of his Bemba rivals in the campaign to take over from Sata. He has the vice presidency, media propaganda, parliament and almost all agencies of government under him. As the case stands, with Sata now clearly totally incapacitated, Wynter is in total control.
The only problem he faces is Cabinet and one little provision in the constitution about who decides who takes over from an incapacitated presidency. With an overwhelming Bemba dominance, Cabinet will not allow Kabimba to take over as acting president when it is confirmed Sata is incapable of performing presidential functions. This is where the real fight is but watching Wynter and Fred M’membe at play right now, I think even the Bembas will be…
Keep on dreaming, it’s insane for someone to be campaigning where there isn’t any vacancy. The PF will remain within the inner circle and people that reason collectively, not insane characters.
Whoever doesn’t like including Kabimba it can go and make there own party.
Kabimba is really enjoying the limelight every since his boss decided to play a game of hide and seek with Zambians. Truly how can you rally behind someone you never see or hear?? 1. We know that one man cannot develop a nation. This is why we are saying he should spread the power – that is why we need a new constitution so that we can have the power to develop ourselves.
2. We have rallied behind PF and HEMCS and have been completely disappointed, neglected and ignored.
3. What is this “unprecedented development” that PF keeps talking about. They keep saying it, but never say what it is? Is it roads? Roads don’t equal development esp that they are just a continuation.
